I absolutely love how you used Train To Miami here, because when I watched the L4D1 trailer with this music for the first time on TV, I fell in love with it. The energy of this song is amazing, and I’m very happy that I found this, I always wanted to see a trailer or a TV commercial like this. Thank you.
You made the first proper Train to Miami music video for L4D in the past few years and perfected in a way no previous version did. I mean, I have a personal affection towards licensed songs that end up associated with media despite not being featured front and center in the main product, like the licensed songs used for the EDs of Each Jojo Part, so this video has a special appeal to me. And the 2000s vibes are strong in this video. You skillfully made use of the best parts of every game trailer in a manner that perfectly fit each part of the song, creating something that felt more like a full-length trailer than a mere GMV. The best part was arguably you syncing the elevator's progress with the first chorus, because that told me that you knew what you were doing. Everything just slots together perfectly with the peaks and valleys of the song in a manner that tells me that no Train To Miami-related L4D video will ever top this, or at least that's how it feels. But the part that really told me that you KNEW what you were doing was you literally cutting the original song in half in order to both make it short enough to comfortably fit the intro/trailer scenes you wanted (seeing as you used a large majority of what' available promo-wise in just this), but also cutting the parts that made the lyrics not as applicable to the game itself (satanic cults and FBI agents), and doing so in a manner so smooth that I doubt more than a few viewers even noticed. That takes skill. As someone who loves music tie-in projects like these, I thank you.
Another thing he did right which I know is hard edditing wise is right after the chorus when the breakdown happens. The 1 second cuts of fighting, gore, shooting etc. Really well done, it fits the chaotic sound so well and it didn't feel like any footage was over used (and some wouldnt even notice reused) and doing it twice in the same music video is outstanding. The scenes feel visceral while also coherent and syncing up to the riffs of the guitar.
