It seems that companies and artists are realizing that the increase in ticket prices not only creates more hype but also adds an element of exclusivity. As long as the projected overall revenue from the concert business in India continues to rise, they are unlikely to change this strategy. However, once it reaches its near-max potential, these companies might start offering more fair prices. This shift could occur as more people begin to see concerts as a consistent form of entertainment
They have to pay certain taxes. Reserving a whole arena is not cheap. Security, stage cordinator, equipments, backup dancers and singers all cost heavy. Most of these equipments are not made in India, they have to be brought from outside. Which adds extra cost. Sure, you can find cheaper speaker here but it will go ------ flat line in middle of singing. Ruining the whole experience. You can already see that in political tours. How bad the whole sound system is. Above that if you are non Indian band, you have to pay additional taxes. I am actually glad experience are getting expensive in India. Bcs we Indians are so used to feeding cheap quality. We expect good things to be given us for free. Especially if it comes to art. There's no respect for artist. We Indians only worship money not art. Had we encouraged creativity to grow, our artists too doing tours and had global recognition.

I believe that most people do it just for social media clout and preer pressure ! Speaking of my own experience, BTS Movie - Break the Silence was released in India and during covid, i booked tickets for it not only because I'm huge fan but also because EVERYONE was watching it. Not kidding but I SLEPT in the theater! The movie was so boring and just a waste of time and money, however i bragged in front of my friends abbout it as if I'd the best experience of my life! So yeah... i feel most people do it just for the social media validation
That's the sad reality 😢 But didn't u see the description pf the movie coz it was a documentary n the process of their music being done n mostly only fans understand that n love that not gp..... No offence to u though... But if want to watch bts movie then better go for concert lives that they release like ptd vegas, dday concert version, jack in the box live stage... In these movies u can actually see their songs.. Ty though for commenting this💟

then you're clearly missing out on some of the highest grade music performed live, doesn't have to be a super famous artist, just dedicated musicians performing their hearts out.
I didn't know that such things are going around with 'high-profile' concerts. I regularly go to Indian Classical, Ghazal/ Sufi music concerts. They are alway deep, memorable. They are far away from the hypes but the auditorium still stays full!
I have attended Eras Tour of Taylor Swift, Tomorrowland, many concerts of Kpop artists like (g)Idle BP and Seventeen. And also many US concerts of Beyonce. In 2017 I also attended the Justin Bieber concert in Mumbai. After attending numerous concerts abroad and in India I can say the management and production of Concerts abroad is way better than here. Concerts in the US especially are so well managed and such good production is just marvelous. Hope to see the same in the Indian concert space.
Can we just point out the ridiculousness of asking the band members’ names of Coldplay? I’ve liked and listened to Coldplay since I was in the ninth grade and I’m almost 29 years old, but I still don’t know two band members of Coldplay.

My live music concert experience started with The Local Train back in my college days 2014 and it changed my life 🧬🙃🤘🏻 Since then i, not only attended live concerts but i become part of its community as we started our own bands and did shows since then with locally renowned bands! I crave for live music, especially proper bands and I've attended tons of them and paid thousands of bucks to be there and even got free entries when i know them personally 😁👌🏻 Long live, live music 🎶🥲🌱✌🏻
I think that the bands in India make garbage songs which aren’t catchy enough otherwise they would have been popular regardless of all the Bollywood struggles
Attended Arijit sir concert in 2019 it was mind blowing experience the music I listened there was something else it felt like the music literally touched me , nowadays attending concert are more about Instagram ,brag ,stories and not actually enjoying it maybe somewhere I'm wrong somewhere
There should be a system where each ticket is linked to an id proof like aadhar card or DL (just like booking flight or railway tickets). This way there will not be a black market system. And this should be applied to all types of ticket sales(eg. - cricket match tickets). In such a way one can only buy tickets for themselves and only in such an amount that they need and thus anyone does not end up buying extra tickets and selling these for higher prices on third party places..
I got 4 coldplay tickets on presale and i woke up at 8:30 and participated in the queue. So its totally upto you how u priorities your time while buying the tickets.
@@manjarin_sd I agree with you, but you are one of the lucky ones who got tickets. I was trying very hard to get World Cup tickets last year and I didn't manage to get a single ticket even after logging in thru multiple devices. The next thing I see is tickets being available on black markets.
I had been to concert once in Delhi last year by Lucky Ali, and it was very bad experience and expensive ticket. Management by event management company was pathetic. Now I don't have any interest in attending concerts but yes music festival is in my wishlist
Being a hugeeeee EDM fan, I haven't been to sunburn yet although many of my favourite artists play their sets, I watch them online, the thing I feel is, concerts are a luxury yes, those who want to attend it and have the passion for the music then they should definitely attend it It creates a totally different environment, where you can enjoy the music in an entirely different manner, hit many emotions, dance however you want to, fireworks, hype and everything... But if you're there for social media hype and a vlog you cannot enjoy each aspect of the concert which is being offered Thats how I feel, I want to attend festivals yes, but not go out of the way for them, priorities should be set and followed
I have been living in Australia for more than 2 years now and have attended many concerts and music festivals mostly rock and heavy metal ones. Here concert culture is on another level, tickets get sold out 1 year before the actual event. I just got tickets for Metallica concert next year November and its all sold out now. 😅
In India, Classical Music Concerts have always been popular which have the nomenclature Baithaks/Kutcheris, but unfortunately never get mainstream attention unless westerners like the Beatles give them importance.
Trust me and mark my words , Dhh/ Indian Rappers are gonna lift up the concerts scene at another level , artists like Emiway , Seedhe Maut , Krsna Raftaar divine etc are some of the top's of the iceberg 🔥✨
Thanks for your analysis on Indian concert . I am from Kolkata band I am lover of western Rock / Metal music. I am fan of Mettalica, Aerosmith, Def Leppard,Dire Strait ,Megadeth ,Bruce Springsteen ( to name a few .the list is huge) I was a subscriber of Rock Street Journal and I had the cassette of Great Indian Rock ( given with RSJ) I salute Amit Saigal and Shyam Lal for their ardent efforts to promote rock music in India. Unfortunately Amit Saigal drowned in Goa. I have attended many concerts in India ( Aerosmith in 2007 , I went to Bangalore to attend the concert) Megadeth , Poets of the Fall , Switchfoot , Michael Learns to Rock ( MLTR) Firehouse Steve Vai ,Guthrie Govan ,Kim Thyal ( From GnR for a brief period ) etc. I watched Aerosmith concert in 2007 only with 1200 rs. I do not want to miss international Rock / Metal band concert in Kolkata. I had many cassett in my collection still as a token of my for music. The situation had changed and it gives me a sigh . Due to the blackmarketting the real rock lovers are unable to attend the concert. The prices of conert are hefty now .Most of the concert going people are more concern about selfie and seeking validation from social media post than the love for music. As a lover of concert goer I feel scenario is pathetic. I have puchased the upcoming Bryan Admas tour in India ( December , starting on 8 th December in Kolkata) .As I purchased the ticket earlier so I got it within stanadrd price . After warrds the ticket rate became so skyrocktting that it is beyond reach. To thrive the concert music we need to restrain the ticket price otherwise in the long run concert will a be thing of the past. Thanks again for your thought provikng video.
gret video. Would like to add a detail as your talking about bands of India, "Mohiner Ghoraguli" is the first independant rock band of India which was originated in Kolkata in 1976
i can probably sing all the songs , play them on multiple instruments and still i dont know the name of the band members , the only bands member names i know is probably queen ( because i watched their movie ) for a band they exist as a group and not single artists
taylor swift eras tour alone earns 1billion dollar and india doesnt even totally hit 1000 crore in total concert. its because not the country is poor but majority are. they can't afford tickets . tickets are more expensive in the foreign concert but even a uber driver can afford a 150 dollar tickets. india should bring more popular and legendary artist like the weeknd, justin bieber, bruno mars or if they want kpop artist bts and blacpink are a great choice instead some cheap or unknown kpop artist or dj artist like dj snake.

Keep rocking bro. Your intent is good. And i love the content and choice of topics. Appreciate it.
Bro yk I live in jabalpur, a tier 2 city in MP, in 2022 the government organised concerts of Sonu nigam , shaan . It was all free and it was such a great experience bro it was just wonderful
I salute and give my utmost respect to those people who are in their 20s and early 30s and are not at all hyped about Coldplay's concert and have decided to either spend that time with loved ones or go out with friends
You are the people who actually have life and don't need to validate it by going to a concert and put that "cool ka 14" tag after ur name
chill out comment section. not attending concerts isn't also a thing to brag about 😂not everyone attends concert to flex, concerts are fun and memorable experience
You understand or not understand an art but you can choose to be a part of it for fun and experience. That's what art is ultimately for. But if you are being part of an art-concert in this context-out of mass hysteria, then I would brag about not being a part of such hysteria.
Comments are full of people either saying ki woh concert dekha hi nahi aur dekhna bhi nahi chahte hai or of people saying they love concert of *insert bollywood famous singer here* which makes me feel that neither of those sides watched or rather understood this video lol
concerts are luxury item, you should not point out unless you are feeling FOMO
Earlier I had no money when KK was doing his live shows, now I can spend more than 50000 to see him singing live but now he ain't no more. ❤ 😢 I don't feel like going to concerts of any other artists.
Dusre desh me music artist Film industry se jada famous hai aur hamare yaha music videos me bhi singer ka naam credit last me diye jata hai 😢
Everyone has their own tastes and preferences so if I like something, doesn't mean you have to agree to my opinion or like what i like and vice versa.
I'm about to attend an AW concert in Mumbai this weekend I'm not a die hard AW fan but yes I do like his music...and this is my first time about an experience I'll be sharing my experience in reply to this comment I hope it'll be a very gr8 experience...
I'm AW fan and wants to attend but can't ..so happy for you don't forget to Tell us about the experience... And enjoy!!
Its my dream to attend Sunidhi Chauhan's concert❤
I believe that most people do it just for social media clout and preer pressure ! Speaking of my own experience, BTS Movie - Break the Silence was released in India and during covid, i booked tickets for it not only because I'm huge fan but also because EVERYONE was watching it. Not kidding but I SLEPT in the theater! The movie was so boring and just a waste of time and money, however i bragged in front of my friends abbout it as if I'd the best experience of my life! So yeah... i feel most people do it just for the social media validation
That's the sad reality 😢
But didn't u see the description pf the movie coz it was a documentary n the process of their music being done n mostly only fans understand that n love that not gp..... No offence to u though...
But if want to watch bts movie then better go for concert lives that they release like ptd vegas, dday concert version, jack in the box live stage... In these movies u can actually see their songs..
Ty though for commenting this💟
Bro concert is a choice not a necessities as simple as that if you have the commodity do go if you don't the why give a shit about it am i right vedant bhai❤❤

I am glad that rock music and concert culture was mainstream in nepal in 90s and 2000s. Infact now independent rock and rap artists are superstars rather than movie actors.
Attend the most heavy metal concert "Outrage Festival" here in Saket on 1st December.

@@precioussoulmj07 lol no it's not. I was an adult when he was alive 😅 I liked his music no doubt but never felt that I have to see him in person. Plus his reputation with kids 😜
Concert are really amazing, you can attend in colleges for free.. If you are student Or have some contacts.
It's not really waste of time for music lovers.
then you're clearly missing out on some of the highest grade music performed live, doesn't have to be a super famous artist, just dedicated musicians performing their hearts out.
Kids nowadays only want to show off not actually their fans

Thanks for addressing this Vedant
I have played at nh7 weekender 2022 with my band 'Trees for Toothpicks' in Pune. Dirty Loops was the headliner on that event.
Can we just point out the ridiculousness of asking the band members’ names of Coldplay? I’ve liked and listened to Coldplay since I was in the ninth grade and I’m almost 29 years old, but I still don’t know two band members of Coldplay.
Really appreciate your content brother. More power to you 🙌✨
I want you to make a detail video on the ghazal culture that was once very prominent in our movies and also independently beceme very popular but now we don't see any of those things in movies or anywhere.. nobody is talking about this section of soothing culture 😔😔

Dikhawa hai mostly jab Justin beiber ka Mumbai mei concert hua tha mujhe acche se Yaad hai itni hype thi ki har ek celebrity apne baccho ke bahane ush concert mei gaya tha, meri cousin ki friend bhi gyi thi aur usne jo waha ka haal bataya... I am glad na hi ja paye Accha hai. Log apni family ke sath aakar peeche chadar bicha kar bhindi aur parathe ga rahe thei, unhe singer ya concert se kuch lena dena nahi tha aur waise bhi jo interested thei unka mood recorded gaane sun ke kharab ho gaya. 😊
I attended an AR Rahman concert which was held in my city jaipur only to see the legend live. It was hard to get a 500 rs ticket back then for the concert. I was in my early 20s at that time.
Never heard someone explaining "Concert" with so much depth
I am surprised you didn’t talk about the genz fake hype culture which is destroying the scene
But there's nothing wrong in encouraging someone even if it's fake because the person you are encouraging doesn't know the fact r8? he / she just wants people to encourage their talent , sabko doctor , ias or engineers to nhi Banna Chahenge r8?
My live music concert experience started with The Local Train back in my college days 2014 and it changed my life 🧬🙃🤘🏻
Since then i, not only attended live concerts but i become part of its community as we started our own bands and did shows since then with locally renowned bands!
I crave for live music, especially proper bands and I've attended tons of them and paid thousands of bucks to be there and even got free entries when i know them personally 😁👌🏻
Long live, live music 🎶🥲🌱✌🏻
Imagine now life would be without internet
4:08 Sting from The Police performed this year in Lollapalooza 2024 - Mumbai
@@pr1sm673 bruh..
I had been to concert once in Delhi last year by Lucky Ali, and it was very bad experience and expensive ticket. Management by event management company was pathetic. Now I don't have any interest in attending concerts but yes music festival is in my wishlist
Being a hugeeeee EDM fan, I haven't been to sunburn yet although many of my favourite artists play their sets, I watch them online, the thing I feel is, concerts are a luxury yes, those who want to attend it and have the passion for the music then they should definitely attend it
It creates a totally different environment, where you can enjoy the music in an entirely different manner, hit many emotions, dance however you want to, fireworks, hype and everything... But if you're there for social media hype and a vlog you cannot enjoy each aspect of the concert which is being offered
Thats how I feel, I want to attend festivals yes, but not go out of the way for them, priorities should be set and followed
I have been living in Australia for more than 2 years now and have attended many concerts and music festivals mostly rock and heavy metal ones. Here concert culture is on another level, tickets get sold out 1 year before the actual event. I just got tickets for Metallica concert next year November and its all sold out now. 😅
here i am having fomo of not going concerts bcoz being in my comfort zone i don't like to stand and watch 🫠

In India, Classical Music Concerts have always been popular which have the nomenclature Baithaks/Kutcheris, but unfortunately never get mainstream attention unless westerners like the Beatles give them importance.
India has very good underground concerts that have a very genuine and kind community. You just need to be a genuine and kind person to enter it.
Trust me and mark my words , Dhh/ Indian Rappers are gonna lift up the concerts scene at another level , artists like Emiway , Seedhe Maut , Krsna Raftaar divine etc are some of the top's of the iceberg 🔥✨
Slowly you're becoming my favorite UA-cam ❤ I love your analysis ❤ God bless you
we should get more mainstream independent singers and make music industry different from bollywood else we cooked bruhs...
every engineering college have a fest in a year where only concerts are happening ...
The only concert culture I know is the chennai december music festival😂. Most concerts are free and you have amazing canteens at every venue.
Very well researched…….loved it…..❤️
taylor swift eras tour alone earns 1billion dollar and india doesnt even totally hit 1000 crore in total concert. its because not the country is poor but majority are. they can't afford tickets . tickets are more expensive in the foreign concert but even a uber driver can afford a 150 dollar tickets. india should bring more popular and legendary artist like the weeknd, justin bieber, bruno mars or if they want kpop artist bts and blacpink are a great choice instead some cheap or unknown kpop artist or dj artist like dj snake.

If you got the concert culture in Dussehra mela every single Year all around the country, is usually a noticed by most people I went to some respectable names like parmish Verma Garry Sandhu etc

I went 2 times on yo yo honey singh concert . When I was booking ticket for first time I saw so Many rules and regulations were mentioned on booking page but in reality beers, Vape , hookah even small kids and family were coming to his concert and there was age restriction as well but still . Inside the concert ground I saw not many security most of the security was in gate and near the stage . Every item was expensive there literally. I went from morning there to night my legs were paining badly . Gate opening time was 11am -12pm but Gates got open in 2 PM . It’s better to listen songs on mobile rather on concert in my opinion.
Live music listening ka experience alag hai .. specially when it's artist who can sing like it's my dream to attend Shreya Ghoshal concert ❤
