I am 80’s born and I grew up watching Anil Kapoor movies on Doordarshan, theatre and Cable TV. He has reinvented himself with time that’s why he is still relevant. The man is so humble, hardworking, disciplined and still more handsome than a lot of his peers. His children are the opposite, none of them have the humility and hardworking attitude of Anil Kapoor. I have watched his movie ‘Nayak’ more than 10 times, I saw his movies Mann,Taal,Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte hain, Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai etc in theatre. The length of the role doesn’t matter, Anil Kapoor gives his 100% to all his roles. He is one of my favourite actors. He has done many movies which has repeat value. I hope he has a good health and keeps playing interesting characters.
Anil Kapoor is living example of the fact that life is a marathon. I admire him because I too believe in the same thing. No one can eat a lifetime worth of food in one day. No one can bathe a lifetime worth of bathing in one day. Things have to be done everyday like you are doing them for the first time. It's hard work, but that's what increases the longevity of a person both on personal and professional fronts.
Anil Kapoor basically does even supporting roles offered to him, he doesn't have an ego like his contemporaries whom only want to be the hero. Even if the movie flops he gets media attention and a heavy fees. In the last decade he worked in 8 movies, 4 of them flopped. But since he's a supporting actor the movies aren't pinned as his failure's. If Govinda had this attitude, today he'd be relevant in Bollywood
Out of his counterpart actors of that time, only sanjay and Jackie Shroff don't have inflated ego, so they are willing to work in supporting roles if the movies are great. Especially Sanjay dutt who's been in every great movie for villain from last 3 years.
@@lelouch7315and then there is Sunny Deol. Who wants to be the center of attention in every single movie. Doesn’t have the acting range of any of his contemporaries but still charges a bomb for just being present in the film
@@AllTimeBollywoodFan yeah you're right on that one, but at least he's way better than govinda (who's still stuck in the past). also sometimes sunny is humble enough to do small roll/side character in web series or less budget movies as we've seen him doing that before Gadar's 2 success.
@@lelouch7315 that was because Sunny had no choice. Now after Gadar 2, he is again jumping on the patriotic/jingoistic bandwagon. He has to realize Gadar 2 was a fluke. It was an ordinary movie worked just because of nostalgia. He is also stuck in the past

I have not kept Sunny in this list as according to me, he is yet to be play a verstaile role of his age. Gadar 2 was his comfort zone and he was rock solid in that.
Brother Sunny deol has delivered a understated restrained performance in Chup:Revenge of an artist starring Dulquer Salman, Shreya Dhanvantary and him. His role of the investigating police inspector was very much unlike his usual stereotypical roles which he is known for. His role in Mohalla Assi few years back as a Banarasi Brahmin pandit was also good . It's not like he has not tried doing anything different, it's just that the movies didn't work. Chup was critically acclaimed and Mohalla Assi had mixed reviews. See most directors from 2000s onwards just didn't know how to Utilise him properly. This was the 1st proper Action film he did and his role as a "unemployed graduate looking for a job ending up as a goon for politician" and it was also very quiet, intense and understated for the loud 80s melodrama which Bollywood was known for back then. His acting was really realistic and the transformation arc was also perfect . So yes he is a misunderstood actor who got typecast unfortunately with dhai kilo haath image forever . I am not a fan but yes I know Bollywood never did justice to him .
both Sanjay Dutt and Jackie got typecasted unfortunately. it's a shame because both actors used to had enormous range and screen presence back in their days.. Sanjay Dutt had 3 comebacks in his career, first in 90s when he build his body, second in 2000s with Munna Bhai, and third in Agneepath, and all three times he wasted it by being typecast later. The thing is, they all lack the strategic thinking of Anil Kapoor. he is still relevant to this day because he doesn't do movies for money or chasing after stardom. he do it because he simply loves acting and he puts his 100% on every role he takes on. he is a true character actor on sense, also another factor is that his choice of interesting scripts. usually you'll never find him doing shit movies or remakes of south movies. 15:11 to 15:23 This. This is what I find best about the whole video. Anil Kapoor, by saying that he took notice that he doesn't have a musuclar physique but accepting that and develop in areas where he can and find an alternative to an average physique, cemented the concept of Know Thyself(those who watched the original Matrix may know that statement). He looked at his body, personality, view of right and wrong, his own soul and drew a rough, if not accurate assesment of his potential and limits. Or maybe he just took one good look at himself and made a new strategy for his career as an actor. I like to believe that his surrounding, mentors and family helped or contributed for that to happen. I wish that kids in our country too get a firm but appropriate reality checks too. Before precious time slips by, it is important that parents get honest with their kids, sit them around the kitchen table and have an honest, full view no stone unturned style approach analysis of their child(all aspects, from health, physical, personality-wise and many more you can think of). Parents should be 100% honest. Showing them the mirror, not in a malicious way but as a parent wanting the best for their kid, could give the child the ability to make an informed decision and most certainly, not fall for empty praise and let their hubris take over. Otherwise, in thes new era, we may comes to see kids who believe they are some great being only to be rudely snapped out of that delusion when they face a reality check by life. They have to know that most probably they are not what they dream of but they can reach their own personal best. Anil Kapoor didn't let his hubris take over(at least not in a way we can see) and as a result, is outlasting his contemporaries from that era.
From Saheb to Chameli ki Shaadi, Andar Bahar to Yudh, Mashaal to Meri Jung, Karma to Mr.India, Jaanbaaz to Tezaab, Ram Lakhan to Beta, Kaala Bazaar to Parinda to Lamhe, Laadla to Trimurti, Deewana Mastana, Virasat to Taal, Pukar to Nayak, No Entry to Race to Welcome, Om Jai Jagdish to Rishtey to Yuvraaj. Innumerable memorable roles he has played and every character looked different from looks to behaviour to portrayal, such was his repertoire ! He was a better actor than Jackie, Sunny, Sanju, just behind Govinda of his era. From Versatility perspective he was the best, with Jackie being a close second. Hats off Anil Kapoor for the hero he was and so swiftly transitioning into character/supporting roles & also doing exceptionally well comedy roles. This man deserves all the love & respect for being there, done that in almost every character he justified. 👍👌

The reason why I love Anil Kapoor sir is that he can never NEVER be fit under the label of a "romantic hero" an "action hero" or the type to always do "anti hero" roles, he is truly a bundle of it all and that's what makes him a true artist. When you sit down to watch a movie starring Anil Kapoor, you never know what you are in for, he can be the biggest comic relief you can imagine or he can be the grimmest of protagonists. He is truly the magnum opus of acting diversity in my books
Best part about Ak is he can blend in any role..Underdog who has immense potential..I still believe his best is yet to come..His performance is class always
when mainstream leading actors want to lead the film only...heres anil kapoor tries emboding every versatile chaarctershe can get...thats called genuine growth of talent...he isnt ashamed to do the side or lead roles he can get

bro, please make an analytical video on Akshay Kumar and why he's failing to capture the audience as he used to from 2016 to 19... As an ex akshay kumar fan, I feel bad for him that he still struggles to create his own space in a industry
I think because he is associated with Modi. It is seen as bad in liberal circles which dominate the movie industry. Same can be said about Bachchan now, they didn't like that he went to Ram mandir pratisthan. A comeback from Bachchan and Akshay is important for Hindus.
Maine Anil Kapoor ko in 1997 Canada mein dekha tha, Tabb main kaafi Chota tha aur Mujhe Anil Kapoor ki Muchon se kaafi Darr lgta tha... Darrte Darrte hi I met him, Shayad kisi Film ki Shooting chal rahi thi Jungle type Area mein...Trip ki kisi Album mein Photo bhi inke Saath...
Amithab Bachan superstardom destroyed everyone in the 70s . The 3 khans superstars did the same in the 90s to now . Anil kapoor still survived with his great roles and great performances, he is still relevant . Mithun , Sunil Shetty , govinda are all forgotten .
@@GlocalbuzzI agree but his career is dead , he’s not made a great comeback since 2000 . Anil kapoor career is still going strong with great character roles which govinda does not want to do . Govinda lives in the 80s and 90s fame in his head

This.
Also better than govinda because govinda did mostly comedy films in my opinion Anil Kapoor, amitabh bacchan, dilip kumar and Ranbir Kapoor are the only actors who can do any role with so much ease
@@manvishukla9869 yes arguably ! I liked him more than Govinda for his range, but Govinda was more popular with masses, even though one dimensional comedy.
@@iammodestykazi6914 no I don't think so about that stardom means you should be relevant till your end of your life govinda is in home now doing nothing so his stardom is falling down and Anil Kapoor is still relevant and doing big projects and films so his stardom is still on top he is still recognised by every generation including 10 years or 12 years children
Hats off to Anil Kapoor Sir🎩

I realized how different is sonam kapoor from her father anil kapoor. She has all the resources idk why she doesn't do more films
Don't forget Bulandi
Sureeee
I think AnilKapoor is the only actor jo audience ko ye humesha yaad dilaate rahein ki lead actor mustache ke saath bhi cool lagg skta hai
love these kinds of analysis
thanksss
In kbc, if anyone can replace bacchan sir as host then he will be one and only anil kapoor and no one else.
He's one of the best looking persons in India ever
Anil Kapoor is a great actor ❤💯
Indeed
Very well explained bhai.,keep going it very beautiful briefly explained ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much 😀
the movie with him and dilip kumar was his best ever role
All his movies 🎉🎉🎉. What a Jakass performer he is.
Anil Kapoor has never given a bad performance in any movie
Respect + ❤️🔥
Anil ji is a stellar actor..He does not hesitate to take risk..
07:44 bahi 5/- ka ticket! old child hood memories..
He is the real super star , I love all his movies
When leading Bollywood actors of 80s and 90s did not have moustache he had one and continues to have , that is his unique identity
His best role was in Virasat, what a performance!

Maybe I'm dreaming, but with this look, I think Anil Kapoor is perfect for a biopic of Anand Mahindra
when mainstream leading actors want to lead the film only...heres anil kapoor tries emboding every versatile chaarctershe can get...thats called genuine growth of talent...he isnt ashamed to do the side or lead roles he can get
24 was epic
that it was
Awesome video.🔥
Sir ye video ki detailing next level he.. ❤ from Thane
Thanks a ton
Anil Kapoor is one of finest actor. I watched his movies from Mr.India, to Ladlaa, Ram-Lakhan, pukar, I have watched all his movie his comic movies like Judaee, No entry. I love him as an actor.
Very impressive knowledge
Thanks a lot
bro, please make an analytical video on Akshay Kumar and why he's failing to capture the audience as he used to from 2016 to 19... As an ex akshay kumar fan, I feel bad for him that he still struggles to create his own space in a industry
I will try my best bro
I think because he is associated with Modi. It is seen as bad in liberal circles which dominate the movie industry. Same can be said about Bachchan now, they didn't like that he went to Ram mandir pratisthan. A comeback from Bachchan and Akshay is important for Hindus.
Bro believe me, you will become a Bollywood media sensation one day. You are doing good research. BOL

Mithun , Sunil Shetty , govinda are all forgotten .
yes you're correct
Govinda is not forgotten and he can still make a comeback if he wants to. He is a formidable actor and can be utilised in dramatic roles.
@@GlocalbuzzI agree but his career is dead , he’s not made a great comeback since 2000 .
Anil kapoor career is still going strong with great character roles which govinda does not want to do . Govinda lives in the 80s and 90s fame in his head
@@donjames7647 Somebody should talk to him and tell him, it's ok to play character roles.
@Vendantrusty Buddy you're awesome! I've been binge watching your videos!
Very beautiful and worth it video❤
