Words can't express our emotions, I just want to say it's a privilege to live in an era where you can watch Messi live on tv. What Messi accomplished in his career will probably never be seen again, or at least not after many decades or even centuries, so it's a very unique time to be alive. How does this NOT include what he did when he first came to Inter Miami? The way he absolutely CHANGED that team and the way they went on a magical run to win EVERY GAME they played in that first tournament that Messi happened to debut in... (League's Cup is what it is called if you don't already know. Which pits the MLS versus Mexico's bigger and older league Liga MX.) That had to ADD to Messi's resume for the year. He just did things no one thought he was gonna ever be able to do. Led his team to the World Cup in amazing fashion. Came to Inter Miami and instantly put that club and MLS on EVERYONE'S minds. And then back it up with a storybook debut trophy winning run in Leagues Cup. Yeah. He's the best at what he does. And he proved it this year... And it WASN'T because of anything he did at PSG. It was the World Cup. And it was going to Inter Miami and MLS and doing what he did in the Leagues Cup as well.

Compare Haalands best games and every touch of him, with a random Messi game from this season, and you should understand the different influence to a game of those two. People are just fed up with the same guy winning, that showed when Messi was like not even top 5 lately in Ballon dor, even having a season, nearly no other player has ever played. And the Iniesta/Sneijder calls, come on, did those two had 60+ G/A, 7 goals in world cup, 3 legendary assists, broke all time records like scoring in every stage of the world cup or getting most G/A in world cup history, receiving golden ball and 6 MOTM trophies in one world cup tournament, got the silver boot, scoring two in a world cup final, and all that with the whole world pressuring him, to win this tournament just cause he's Messi, and he even did that. As all contra arguments were crushed by Messi, the last thing to say is rigged, I think that shows, that Messi rised up to the maximum level of football all time.
