I thank leo for that because its more than watching his career but it brings back memories of a time that has longed passed and I cherish those memories, and leo has been a part of my life for almost 20 years.
Every time I watch his WC performance my tears won't stop from falling. Because I am so blessed that I live in his era. No one will ever be like him. He is the GOAT. 😭😭😭
Emi Martinez with that 120+3' save didn't just stop the ball, he literally stopped the tears of joy turning into tears of absolute sadness. It surely has to be the "Save of the Millennium".
It was such an unreal tournament with him carrying the team on his back. To go up against Netherlands Croatia and the France juggernaut to win in that fashion. Just capped off what was such a wonderful beautiful career. And even better his twilight years are being played in the MLS which is so great because I live in America and have gotten to finally see Messi play live. Life is complete.
6 months have passed but everytime i watched a video of Messi my tears can't stop falling. I'm always grateful to witness the greatest footballer of all time.
How people can think Messi doesn't have perseverance is beyond me. His perseverance is evident in most goals he scores, most clutch moments. People who think he is not the GOAT are fooling themselves.

Every time I'm feeling down I remind myself of watching that world cup final and getting all the feels, this video reignited all those emotions and it shall be my official go-to from now on for whenever I want to feel lucky to be alive in the same era as the GOAT Lionel Messi.
I am not Argentinian but I have followed this man’s life story since I saw him step in to Barcelona field. To see him finally accomplish this broke me, that is the first time I have cried out of happiness for someone 😂
Ronaldo fans are saying that Messi only scored penaltys, but i watched every Argentina game this World Cup, and the things he is doing on that pitch is just unreal. The game vs Australia is one of the best dribling performances ive ever seen. They only watch the highlights and goals, they don’t care about the insane things Messi does
Most people who don't watch games, or just watch it for goals' sake cannot grasp his influence. Most of the chances he creates does not translate to assists or goals. How many critical passes or dribblings does he have that completely changed the play, destroyed the defensive plays, and caused goals? This man is a marvel to watch. He has been there for my entire childhood, along with Ronaldo, and made this sport what it is for me.
They will never give credit, even if they watch the games and see him routinely do things Ronaldo never could. It's irrelevent to them if Mess is truly better or not , they have tied their entire identity into Ronaldo being better and hating on Messi and they will forever defend the position regardless of whether they truly believe it or not.
Penaldo fans are just stats troll guys who doesn't know anything about football. The things Messi does in the field Penaldo has only dream about. Messi's goals are 80% amazing goals. Penaldo 20% are amazing goals and are the ones that you will always see at his highlights. Any person who sees a full match these days will see why it is a joke to compare Penaldo with Messi. And yet penaldo fans are the most toxic fanbase in any sports history.
Grew up idolising Ronaldo with the whole family while our dad was the only supporter of Messi. We used to exchange rants and banters against each other within limits knowing how they meant to us but during the night of the final for the whole match I rooted for Mbappe and France but when it went to ET somehow i started to support the Argentinian understanding the hardwork, patience and commitment he showed cause thats why our dad supports him cause he saw himself in Messi, turning from no one to somebody. This guy truly made many of his haters turn into fans. Whether you like it or not it's a fact. Don't have all the arrogance to say he's not the greatest anymore. A true gem. Glad I witnessed him.
Messi lost 3 finals in a row. 2014 world cup, 2015 and 2016 copa america. It was painfull making it so far 3 times in a row and never reaching the top. Luckily the team that watched him go in tears throughout those years promised to make their idol a world champion. It was enzo fernandez's card that motivated messi to stay in the team. Perfect example of never give up even if you fail because after three losses in a row, messi won 4 title in a row. Accomplishing what spain did in 2008 - 2012 (no finalissima but the famous triple trophy, 2 continent and 1 wc). If that doesn't motivate you to keep trying no matter what I don't know what will.
No matter the World Cup. Ronaldo is the second greatest player of all time. There is no way to debate that, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Messi is just that good. But it’s a testament that Ronaldo still won 5 balón d ors in their peaks
I think to many people that have been fans of Messi and watched him all these years, Messi winning the world cup was not simply our idol winning the greatest trophy, it was a symbol of hope, a real life fairy tale that brings us the belief that hard work, dedication will eventually pay off, and that dreams indeed come true. That is why his story resonates with not just Argentinians, but with all who have glimpsed his story, regardless of race, gender, nationality.
It's strange that a person who doesen't even know you exist, can bring you joy and one of the most beutiful moments in your life. Thank you Messi, I love you!❤🐐
It was the best World Cup, the best final, but it felt like Messi was fulfilling his destiny. Stressful, painful, heartbreaking and euphoric at the same time. The messiah wrote his own dynasty
Qatar was defo not the best world cup in any way. I'm not talking about the hosts but in terms of the football certainly not and the final for the emotion and drama may be memorable but not a great match by any stretch of the imagination.

The best part of this entire season was when that lady told him, no matter the results of the world cup, Thank you for bringing happiness to all our lives.. That's a true fan.. thru thick and thin with Messi
Dibu's last minute save. Everytime I watch it, that feeling of a cruel injustice comes back to me. When France tied the game 2-2, I thought it was over for Argentina. And they still managed to find something in themselves to score a third - and Mbappé was there again to show us our dreams and all the years of suffering were still not enough. Messi would never win the World Cup. Then that happened. The final blow became a miracle. Otherworldly scene we were blessed to experience. That moment decided everything.
Mbappe's half volley was astounding. Hard to fathom so young already in 2 finals, scoring in both, and a hat trick no less. Football is something else. Already had one final in his pocket, while Argentina had to suffer a lot. Dibu's save meant a lot, not everything always on Messi's shoulders.
There are only about a half-dozen goalkeepers in the world who make that save. Donnarumma. Neuer. Courtois. Sommer. Ederson. Alisson. And Martinez. He's Mr. Big Time.
I am from Argentina, I was happy when I saw the part from Bangladesh. I can't wait for the friendly match between Argentina & Bangladesh. 🇦🇷❤️🇧🇩 (Jamal is the Bangladeshi GOAT)
That speech by the reporter to him before the world cup and Messi's advice to young Messi is just phenomenal, I am lucky to born in the era of The hreatest
The titles and trophies dont define Lionel Messi. Its the way he plays, the way he behaves and how he motivates people are Lionel Messi's trophies. The whole world is gonna cry when Messi retires. Love you Leo.
The Legend. The Icon. The Maestro. The GOAT. For 15 years of my life I have followed him ever since, from losing in 2007, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019. He has never settled for defeat. “Enjoy him while he’s here” That’s what the haters don’t realise yet. You’re lucky enough to be alive at the same time as Leo Messi, a man who has single-handedly made football into an art form.

A true gem. Glad I witnessed him.
i think a lot of people went through what you did on that final, so did I
Messi lost 3 finals in a row.

Still getting goosebumps till this day ... The Greatest Ever

@@antoniotrivelloni8191 Don't forget Livakovic.
that was god that saved that

Sometimes it feels like a dream but it really happened. Messi won the World Cup. This is a moment we will never forget🥺❤️
We Bangladeshi people are proud to be featured in this legendary Messi video. A legacy that will be remembered forever.
I am from Argentina, I was happy when I saw the part from Bangladesh. I can't wait for the friendly match between Argentina & Bangladesh. 🇦🇷❤️🇧🇩

He always came back up every single time. Thank you Lionel Messi for everything you have done for Argentina and the whole world.
his first world cup was in 06
Say whatever Ronaldo Will always remain The GOAT
@@dngdnf4862 he's talking about copa america final 2007, in world cup 06 argentina lost in quarter finals
@@davidthapa6017 ballon d'ors? Golden boots? Man of the matches? World cup golden ball? Trophies? Awards? Stats? More G/A in less matches? I don't even need to argue since its obvious that messi is better

I always come back watch this movie every 4 months and everytime i watch it i cry ..Eish Messi🥺..To think this is based on a True Story..Even though it feels like it was scripted ..This is legit we all saw it happen infront of our eyes😭😭😮😮😮😮
“Enjoy him while he’s here”
That’s what the haters don’t realise yet. You’re lucky enough to be alive at the same time as Leo Messi, a man who has single-handedly made football into an art form. He is the most complete player of all time and it’s not even close. One day they’ll wake up and realise they were witnessing history and let it slip between their fingers while we who appreciate him will always keep it close to our hearts. Wake up before it’s too late. We don’t know how much time is left. Just enjoy his talent because you won’t see anyone like him in your lifetime.
Imagine being a football fan and hating Messi. If you love football you love Messi
Messi is definitely the greatest and most complete of all time by some distance of course and I will mourn when he dies but I'm not sure if we "won't see anyone like him in our lifetime"
@@superlegend8118 well, the odds are very very small
Allah is the complete, we humans are only his slaves brother👍 messi is great and all but he’s just a human who after some years will be under the dirt like any other human…
@@Adam-nq3hv no one is slave … to hell with your believes , keep your prayers to yourself dont spread it on social media .
This literally gave me goosebumps. No words to describe your editing man. I hope you reach ultimate success one day, definitely one of the best videos on UA-cam for me. The GOAT is, and always will stay, eternal. Vamos, Leo Messi
