Watch Andy's previous Noble Screamer demo here: • Keeley's Noble Screame...
For anyone curious what circuits are being approximated-the Blues Disorder is a Marshall Bluesbreaker (BB) and a Fulltone OCD (OC); the Super Rodent is a BOSS SD-1 (SD) and a Pro Co RAT (RT), the Angry Orange is a Russian Big Muff (MF) and a BOSS DS-1 (DS), and the Noble Screamer is a Nobels ODR-1 (OD) and an Ibanez TS808 (TS).
Thank you!! Literally stopped the video 2 minutes in to check if the comments would provide this information. You did not disappoint, good sir! 🤘🏻🫡🔥
Nice info - thanks!
Thanks.
Problem is I already have a separate Marshall BB-2, Fulltone OCD, several Pro Co Rats, several Boss DS-1’s, EHX nano Green muff, & Ibanez TS10. Only lacking Nobels ODR-1. Yes, I don’t have the switches to morph them into hybrid pedals. Still difficult purchase to justify. May consider 1 or 2 from the bunch.
@@realledbetter5015 🙄No one cares what pedals you have and why this is a "difficult purchase" for you. But I am sure R. Keeley will take this into account next time he designs some new pedals
Andy is one of my favorite players of all time. Him and Pusheen are some of the best on UA-cam.
Andy has these subtle melodic and/or harmonic twists and turns that at times border on genius.
Great demo! Over the last 15-20 years, I'd bet that Andy is the most influential guitar player on guitar tone from within the guitar community. Sure, we are all influenced by our guitar heroes and their tone, but Andy has been here this whole time demonstrating tasteful nuanced playing and great tone at all times, while we listen to see what gear sounds like. We salute you, Andy!
There was a time it was just him and Brett “Burgs” Kingman.
Now, almost everyone demoes pedals.
And Gearmanndude and Papastache aka Brett Papa
Would love to see a "Top 5" with Andy and RJ Ronquillo playing together to demonstrate how to use pedals to carve out space in the mix @RJRonquillo
That really means a lot, thanks so much! 👊💥👊
Andy's a longtime YT legend for such a young guy. I love his content and have enjoyed it for many years.
Super Rodent and Angry Orange, right into my 90's heart!
I’m just here to see Andy rock! I already saw the 4-in-1 demos earlier today. These pedals are awesome!!
Whoa I hear a great album tune in this original intro. 🤘
Thanks 😊
Amazing work Andy, that Super Rodent was lovely. Rad playing as per.
Great opening jam.
Thank you, I was happy all 3 occupied a different space in the mix 👊💥
Holy smokes hell yeah! Great jam!
Those are gorgeous
they do look nice, the question is... can the difference between these be achieved with simple EQ and gain.
Keeley is on fire. I can't believe he really released a combo TS9 / ODR1 (Noble Screamer), a souped up Blues Driver (Muse Driver), combo RAT / OD1 (Super Rodent), combo Bluesbreaker / OCD (Blues Disorder), combo DS1 / Big Muff Pi (Angry Orange) and all roughly within a few months of each other. Dang!
I LOVE Andy. xo
Came here for the pedals and I’m now mesmerized by the guitar
Same dude, that second position sounds so killer
alright, can someone please say what the actual names of these circuits are? I don't know why Andy is speaking in such shielded language
Because this is a dealer exclusive, I assume they don't want to get hit with trademark infringement.
BB is a blues breaker circuit and the OC is a OCD circuit
Good vibes
The super rodent is my favorite
Are these all Keeley's take on each circuit or are they more standard reproductions?
Nice. Muff with a DS tone circuit fixes everything I hate about the muff.
it would be super simple to mod a big muff to have a ds-1 tone section because theyre the same tone stack with different component values!
blues disorder is sick
"Knobs at noon" I making that into a T-shirt
What is the yellow overdrive is it an SD-1?
Maybe SD-1 + Rat (it's Yellow but it's also called Super Rodent, right)? Also labeled "RT"...
So you can use 18 volts on any of the 4 in 1 pedals?
Does Andy use picks. I can never see 1 in his hybrid style.
He does not! Just holds his fingers in a way that looks like he has a pick. Checkout his episode on That Pedal Show. He talks about his technique there.
Hardly ever
Andy sells. Pay him more.
Is the intro song Oasis-inspired or is it just me?
Always been a Blur fan, actually. I hear a little Blood on the Scarecrow :)
What is your favorite Andy?
Did I miss the part where you say how these are 4-in-1? Wouldn't 2-in-1 be more accurate?
By using the selector switches to access certain parts of the two circuits, you can actually have four full options.
Tone Stack 1 ->(into) Clipping 1
TStack 1 -> Clip 2
TStack 2 -> Clip 1
TStack 2 -> Clip 2
Honestly changing the tone side doesnt seem like it makes a huge difference on anything but the muff/ds1
Aaaaa!!! Stop doing this!!! My wallet is empty!!!
are these the representation of the Angry Orange?.
MF: Mother - Father
DS: Daughter - Son
pretty sure it’s supposed to be a big muff and a Boss ds-1
It’s a 90’s Soviet Civil War Muff circuit-MF, and the DS-1 circuit-DS.
No, but creative! Muff and Boss DS-1
oh my, im being sarcastic here lol but I love the replies tho :D
I like the way you think@@apuadofrancisco ! You got it, Mother Father Daughter Son! ;-) Ha! I wish I was that clever. Good one sir!
jfc, Are people are just gonna keep creating more OD pedals like we Dion't have 100,000,000 already? What is the point ?
Options.........lots of options.
Agreed, so boring
Yes they are, no complaints here.
The Pedal " Grift" goes on...materialists keep buying them, Andy is their best saleman.
Last time I checked you weren’t being forced to buy any of them. At all. Ever. Nor, does anyone company producing them owe you an explanation. Hope this helps.
Who would buy four pedals that do functionally the same thing?
I have a bit of a problem with those kinds of guitarists, the kind who spend their time and money chasing the perfect "tone".
I'm a keyboardist and producer, and in my opinion the writing of the music comes before the fine tuning of the sound every time. If you write a piece that is interesting and compelling, then using the right tones and sounds will only enhance it.
But if you write something that is boring, unoriginal or unimaginative, the perfect tone wont save it. Doesn't matter that you have a Tele and $10,000 dollars of gear at your disposal.
Don't get me wrong I know this is not always the case, but I know a lot of guitarists who should be prioritizing refining their playing skills or understanding of music instead of hoping that spending more money will take them where they want to go.
Don't buy from Reverb. Good God what a bunch of scammers...
This is the first time that even Andy can't make these pedals sound good...
These sound lovely to my ears
LOL!!!!!! Never been a big fan of Keeley drives (modulation, yes), but at least the Angry Orange makes me curious.
Yawn!
What is that red pedal right by your elbow? Looks like maybe a Barber Electronics pedal?
the melekko echo i believe.
Yes, it’s the Malekko 616 analog delay. They’re killer.
It’s like a better MXR Carbon Copy, made long before it.
I really like the modulation on them, and it has a buffered option.
@@CorbCorbin they did a lofi version too that was sick, I kick myself every time I think about how I sold it at a time I didn't realize what I really had smh. Live and learn I suppose
The other red pedal is a Demedash Spidola fuzz.
