Hi hi hi, I'm really sorry for being gone for so long. I think the 9 month time-frame was mainly just a combination of being really busy with school and trying to find myself throughout the making of this video. After my last upload I realized that there were just a lot of aspects of my personal life that were drastically affecting me and my creative output. And I had to make sure that, before I could ever finish this one, I needed to take care of all of that. I can comfortably say that I'm genuinely in a really good place now and excited to work on new stuff for the channel. You'll never see me be gone for that long ever again don't worry LMAO.
it's fine, man. Whether the videos you release would be 10 mins to an hour and a half long, it's just good to know that make these at the right state of mind.
Takehiko inoue is a rabbit hole that you either start with basketball or a samurai, that will end in a deep self reflection that would ultimately better your life.
This is probably one of the best video's I think i'll ever watch. Your ability to tell a cohesive and emotional story that can touch other peoples hearts while still managing to intertwine your own personality and style of comedy that manages to not take away from that emotional story you're trying to tell is astounding. Not to mention, your passion to elevate your story telling through your editing and find new creative ways to bring your ideas to live is so fucking good. I can only hope to bring something i'm passionate about to life in such a way that you have and thank you for yet again reminding us all why Takehiko Inoue is one of the greatest mangaka's to ever live.
Inoue really changed my life with vagabond. like REALLY. ( sorry for the rambling but trust me its worth it) it hit me so hard that it flipped a switch in me and i tried my best to understand it with my dumbass head and after my 6th read and 2 years later ( in which i ended up learning N1 japanese to understand the actual source material ) i finally understood it. after that i moved to japan nd started learning daoism or better known as taoism there and shinto and buddhist culture deeply for the next 6 years in which i also learnt Niten Ichi-ryū and now here i am currently living in japan as a kenjutsu assistant teacher, a simple life with not much money but the amount i need to live in with no regrets ( my goal in life is to emulate Musashi way of living as close as possible and follow his philosophy ) (im 28 next month btw). he really flipped my life to a whole different path which originally shouldve been a doctor( i even got admission to a med school but thanks to my supporting parents i was able to learn all of this ). and after talking to a lot of people over the years from different backgrounds like monks, salarymen, multi millionares and old people on their death beds etc on their world view and life and reading a ton of books this past decade i finally understood more or less of the world that Musashi saw with his eyes towards the end of his life. that nothing in this world no matter the quality of alcohol or the hottest woman or the most beautiful mansions and any amount of money can compensate u for the inner peace of ur mind which u can achieve if u have a mind as strong as steel and as flexible as water and very little distractions. ( I still havent reached it completely though im still like halfway on that ) every day i wake up with a smile on my face being grateful for the day and weather no matter what kind of weather it is on that day. even though somedays i do get irritated i still try to do my best. thank u Takehiko inoue for changing my life to this extent.
Vagabond seriously made a med student become a taoist monk in japan, how good does a manga have to be to cause such a huge change? Its so surreal i cant believe shit here
@@retruecano i know it sounds insane but thats mainly cause i was at a point where i didnt know what to do in life. i didnt wanna be a doc tbh i just became a med styd just cause i had no other option And to make it clear vagabond alone did not bring me to where i am today, vagabond led to another book which led to smh else and resulted in a whole set of events. so yea thats what it is.
I didn't realize anything to this level thanks to Vagabond, but I can understand the overall feeling. I was at a point in my life where I was feeling great, but, at the same time, behind my back I was alienating myself from everyone I've ever loved because I was too mesmerized by my pursuit for status and my obsession for knowledge and power. Well, it feels all too cheesy if I put it in that way, but the point is that if it wasn't for this manga, my life would've continued to move towards a really excruciating path; now all that I can really say is maybe it was God's intent to make me read Inoue-san's work at that moment and see that I was not living my own life, but it was my ego living his life through me. Since than, all I'm doing right now is striving to become a good person.
@@Tuber-sama in my honest opinion, the desire alone to become a good person is something only truly good people try to pursue. To become a better version of yourself than you were yesterday. Also learning to forgive yourself if you end up straying away from your path. So much to think about.
Bro leaves for 9 months then comes back to drop one of the best explorations of an artist ever done. Their journey, growth, inspirations, and effect on the world. Well worth the wait I’m going to go start Slam Dunk now
I have never commented on a video before but this video resonated so hard with me. I remember watching the slam dunk movie in the summer and forcing my family to join me, and I genuinely cried watching the last seconds of the game because it made me feel exactly the same way as I did when I read those final chapters of the manga. I have never felt such strong emotions from any form of media ever, and this video just brought all those memories and emotions back. Thanks so much for an amazing video!!!
Scamboli and Ah Lecks in the same month, WE WON Welcome back Alex! You’re one of the only anime/manga UA-camrs that don’t make my eyes/ears bleed, not to mention your HILARIOUS! 🎉
I have the full collection of vagabond, it’s my most prized possession, when I finish it I just start from chapter one again, always laughing in the same spots, always crying in the same spots, always rooting in the same spots like it’s the first time I’ve read it. It means so much to, it’s changed my life in a way that no other piece of entertainment/ media has, outside of music ofc. Thank you Inoue-san
I love that you dedicated a moment of your video to the moment in Slam Dunk where it feels like Inoue thought: "Wait, I'm the GOAT" and became what we know him to be.
Beautifully done! This legit brought me to tears. Probably because my cat died today but holy shit, you communicated the emotions and passion found in this manga so well! I'll be sure to read it!
this dude leaves for like a year and comes back with such a masterpiece of a video...just wow. This video really motivates me to start again with my art journey. Thanks man.
I just cried over you not posting for 9 months, but it's okay, because it was like you were pregnant for 9 months, and you cooked, delivered and served this video. Keep cooking king.
Omg this is my favourite video of all time !! it literally brought me to tears the 9 month wait rewatching your videos idk how many times was fully worth it,I really can't describe how this video made me feel. my god!
"He named the series after the guy's power and then what he does with that power" Yeah that's crazy that would be like naming your series Fire Punch... wai-
Thank you so much for this. I’ve loved every second of it and it’s now one of my favorite UA-cam videos. I grew up watching slam dunk when I was very young and it used to be my fav show, and I just finished reading Slam Dunk a couple of weeks ago and having a total blast with it. I was disappointed with the lack of content regarding Inoue sensei and Slam Dunk in particular on UA-cam, but you uploaded your video at just the right time, so thank you for that!
Bro thank you, I am a huge fan of video essay style videos because it allows people to just talk about things that they are passionate about and interested in in a way that can be hard to convey otherwise. I've watched so many of these types of videos about so many different topics but this is far and away the best I have ever seen and was amazing to watch, thank you for sharing this
Fist of all, english is not my native language sorry if i mistaken. this is one of the greatest videos i've ever seen, for real this give me at the some type of chills. you put so much effort in this video, that i can feel what you want to share. keep the great content you have and keep growing bro. greetings from mexico.
Concuerdo, alex se mamó haciendo el video. Sobre todo la parte en la que dice que su abuelo le dijo que los personajes se veían vivos. Eso me dio justo en el corazón 🐢
You really managed to make something special with this one. The editing, the pacing, the writing, it's all at such an extremely high level. This is definitely an All-Timer for me, one of the best videos on this platform and I thank you for letting us experience your deep dive as personally as you have here.
I tend to not comment (God knows the last time I did). But as someone who has gone in life with sometimes too many questions to bare either never being able to get an answer to or being scared almost to death of what the answer could mean, I have definitely had some "Inoue effect" through my first reading of Vagabond (which like Inoue I could probably do some picking back up on) and having heard you depict so masterfully his works and influence I can say I have been inspired to say the least to read in depth on Inoue's work. Vagabond definitely came to me at a time of change and having listened to The Book of Five Rings a couple of times during uni, I have been able to allow myself to be a tad more kinder more importantly to myself. Reading through a story as epic as Vagabond definitely made me realize that there was definite raw physical strength to Musashi and Sasaki, but more importantly, Musashi's journey towards understanding the why of such pursuit to strength is relevant and how it can ultimately benefit yourself anymore in life. I truly believe that you beautifully put the idea of being strong as being kind and gentler towards the next person regardless of the bad in life that you may have done or experienced. That transformation and almost elevation towards the betterment of oneself to be so tied to being genuinely and purely kind towards the people next to you. These realizations and thoughts that I have rushed to try to encapsulate into this comment made me realize that someone like myself who didn't seem to have much direction in life and the anguish that caused to me was alleviated by a decent amount when I could just realize that maybe I just needed to be more unconditionally kinder to myself and those around to me to achieve some sort of "peace". Sorry for the blabber session but I really hope that if anyone read through and I didn't seem too "all over the place" that you too can possibly realize that you have the capability to always change to become kinder and to try the trail the path of "Invincible under the Sun" (cheesy I know) You've got yourself a sub!!!! Keep it up and thanks.
There’s actually a documentary about Dennis Rodman called “Rodman: for better or worse”. It walks through his entire life and shows what drove him to become the greatest rebounder of all time. It’s really good!
actually making me cry what a fucking good video also man,, the "It's not necessarily bad. I wanted to give up several times, In the end, the result is correct." at 49:50 kills me it hits me so hard as someone who wants to make and draw things, he doesn't say its good, but that its correct omfg its too late to put it into words tonight but makes me rethink a ton about what ive made so far and what i want to make in the future
As a person that likes drawing and having a dream ppl to relate and be moved by my art, i absolutely adore Takehiko Inoue. His way of storytelling, drawing, directing is so moving and heartwarming to the audience eye. I see his art as a work of study. A teacher that shows how to make art in very deep and insightful way ❤
Dude you're gonna be the reason why I start Slam Dunk. I watched The First Slam Dunk with my mom and I'm gonna be honest, I cried. I've also grown up with sports all around me (I've been doing Kendo for the last 9 years) so that movie even without context really emotionally hit me. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS ❤
I don't know if anyone recognizes this trend on his work, it's always about discovering your inner-self or rediscovering a part of yourself. It's always about discovering humanity in it's truest essence (Which was magnificently displayed on Vagabond and Real)
As an aspiring novelist, I absolutely love going on these, admittedly abbreviated, journeys with you, just “spiraling” about the beauty of art. I haven’t read Inoue, but Musashi was one of the most formative reads for me as an adult, and seeing the themes in that in this video about his work, layered in between your appreciation might well have inspired an epiphany of sorts for my own art.
Well this was a ridiculously well put together video. Probably the best of it's kind that I've ever watched, even. Watching this made me realise that the secret to great cinematography is in the editing. Props to you for all the work you put into this man, you've made one hell of a video
My favorite panel in the whole series rukawas perfect form during a jump shot with sakuragi having to acknowledge how talented rukawa is. I actually had a rukawa phone case for years because of it
i will never get over how you’re able to create something to profound and beautiful, yet sprinkle moments of humor that fit so damn perfectly. your humor lifts the mood while you drop absolute gems of interpretation. thank you so much.
Alex you really out did yourself with this one. Every thing from your editing, music choice, pacing and narration were all phenomenal. It really shows that you were passionate through each and every step of this process. And you did give me a quite surreal and beautiful experience through this video.Thank You.
One of the best video I’ve seen on UA-cam. Just like Sakuragi’s passion for basketball, I can feel passion for telling stories and making videos. The research, the scenes, your irl videos, the 3d renderings, music choices, your flows and pauses. God dang bro, it’s perfection
i'm so glad you're back. i've never once found a video on the internet of someone conveying that much how i felt about mangas. all the video essays on yt are very cool, but they never quite showed how one can be obsessed with a manga, an author - hell, a single panel. they never really showed how personal reading those stories is, how you can spend days, weeks kinda being spaced out after finishing a manga, how much it can affect your life, how it can change your perspective of the world forever. i love your videos because i find myself in your words, the way you share your experience, your dedication to the manga you love. you had the courage and the will to try and put your passion into words, which is hella difficult and i respect you, but i want you to know that you're doing this so well. so i hope you're doing well, and don't put pressure on yourself too much
Hey Alex, I just finished the video and have to say this was really well made. I could see the strenuous amount of hard work that you put into this project. The edits are good, and the 3D renders are great. I especially love the scenes with the gallery; it feels like it's mimicking how Inoue would have exhibits of artwork, but instead you're showing off the work you put out and particularly on the topic of Inoue. On another note, this video was very informative. Prior to this, all I knew about Inoue was that he loved basket ball and was a mangaka, so thanks for giving me the chance to learn a little more about one of my favorite creators. Also "CHAMELEON JAIL" is such a silly name with an even more absurd story, and the million-dollar question is such a real thing too. I am nearing the end of high school and will be graduating in the next month and a half, so figuring out what I want to do and whether or not I'll enjoy it is a hassle. Lastly, I've never read REAL, but this video has convinced me to do so, so when I get the chance, I will. Overall this was an excellent video, and I appreciate all the effort you placed in this video and can't wait for your next video!(even If I have to wait another 9 months, jkjk)
i dont usually coment in youtube videos but man, THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO. The feeling that you trasmited about inoue's art overall somehow translated what ive felt for like 4 years about everything this man have created. His manga's changed my life, and man, the passion that you put on this video, its like the best video on the history of youtube! im glad you're back
I haven't really delved into the world of Inoue that much recently. I've read the big three of his and consider them all some of the best literary works created by man, but holy shit dude, you've opened a box in my chest that hasn't been touched in a long ass time. This is a greatly produced video and analysis on why Inoue is such a phenomenal writer, illustrator and explainer of the simple but big difficulties of life's meaning. Great video man.
Just finished the video, really well done. Thank you for taking your time and putting so much effort in to make something like this, the passion here was palpable. I could tell that question on the meaning within art was not only important to the topic, but a really personal question for you as well. Whether the answer you found was one that you expected, the connection art can bring was reflected here in your work throughout. Congrats on finishing, you fuckin did it.
banger after banger after BANGER‼️‼️‼️ You never miss with these you are genuinely a video essay extraordinaire, never watched one of your video essays and not felt so inspired. Thank you for all your hard work!!!!
Look I dont know if you will read this but dude this video made me cry. I had a similar experience of just becoming absolutely obsessed with Inoues work after having read vagabond and seeing the same passion, dedication and love being poured out in this video really is gold. Ive yet to see another that has gone to the same depth as this one and I can say having discovered this channel early on I can say that no other youtuber has continually impressed me as much as you.
man i just love work of takehiko inoue and man this video shows the exact thing i want to know about him yep man just loved the video and the music you used in this video
This was probably the most informative and in-depth analysis video on a Mangaka artist and his works I’ve ever seen. It was a great deep dive, thanks for this video !

I really loved the video, I have read slam dunk and vagabond more than once. Both changed not only the way I look at the world but also the way I think of myself. And I think you were able to express that sentiment almost perfectly with your video. Thank you for giving us a fantastic video.
UA-cam has a cruel ability to insert an add right after a dramatic pause but within half a second of you piping up and I am going to destroy the robots
omg , that was a great piece of content i've been watching since like the last 4-5 months , waited for the night free time everytime, finally completed it , damnnn , INOUE's a legend , you AhLecks are a legend for this , i really needed this, sadly i dont got any basketball classes or shit near me , I so fking wanted to start playin basketball at this point, and yeah awesome man, i really wanna appreciate more but idk now aahhhhhh, i love this.
Beautiful video. Always nice to see Real get some love. It is so raw and heart touching. It's a shame it's not more popular. The Shiratori arc had me feeling things. Also excellent work with the research. You put your heart and soul into this video and it really shows. This video damn near brought me tears multiple times
Hey man I love the video. I’ve played basketball for the majority of my life and when I left high school I felt hella lost without it but when I read slam dunk a year ago I knew that I wouldn’t want to do anything else with my life but play ball then my life took a switch I read hajime no ippo (I recommend) and I think that I’ve played basketball enough in my life and a hole has been within that needs filling and I think hajime no ippo really brought that out and I’m doing my best everyday to get better in my life to fill that hole (I totally recommend you should tots read hajime no ippo I honestly think slam dunk and hji are the best ever) all love brother ❤❤
But honestly I think it’s real because no matter what real saved my life and when I was reading it I learnt that there is hope and that I shouldn’t give up and I thank Inoue so much aye because when it went in deep about nomiya’s life in real I was such in awe I wanted to know what it felt like to amount to something and I pray and hope that I will somehow do something with my life ❤ alright I’m done lol
This was an absolutely fantastic video, the editing is unreal, and I genuinely teared up towards a lot of the more poignant parts. I'll 100% have to check out Inoue's work.
This video slaps it's just good so good that I wish it was 10 hours long. I love the tone pace editing and the script and presentation of it. Ya got a new fan licks.
Every once in a while the UA-cam algorithm hits the mark and recommends a channel/video that is actually incredible. My man really just got me to watch an hour+ long video on the author of a manga/anime I'd rather die than read/watch (Slam Dunk - I *loathe* basketball *AND* sports anime). The strength of the writing, the.....presentation style and the editing (dear Dog in heaven the editing) are just incredible. Immediate sub and I'm really looking forward to binging your entire catalogue of videos.
In the late 2000s Sudan I started watching slum dunk at spacetoon channel, that's where I stated taking interest in basketball fastfoward till today I'm in Italy for two years , I left my family at only 16 years travelled to a very unknown world to me to persue my basketball dreams and hopefully I achieve them. This guy has no idea how he really impacted people's life
I have seen this video pop up on my recomendet page a long time ago and it always came back. i just never fellt that the time was right. But today i watched it. I felt it. I connectet. And funny enough i watched it from the day bevore to the day of my birthday and it somhow showed me somthing i yet need to fully understand an grasp. Yet i my self will truly become somthing. That i hope... Will be my future. Thank you Ah Lecks for making such a butifull video and Thank you Takehiko Inoue for showing a reflection of this world inform of art.
Not even done watching but damn, Alex. I have to stop and appreciate the depth of research you put into this one. It's so well-researched. You went to the extent of reading books that the author read just so you can get into his head. Damn. I'm blown away. And it's so masterfully done. And for the first time in my life, I'm watching video about manga and thinking not about manga, but about what it means to work really hard. And what it means to throw oneself into one's work. Yes, Takehiko Inoue is great and all, but this level of effort is awe-inspiring. Never left a comment this long on any UA-cam video😂 Thank you Alex. For back-breaking effort you put into this. You probably just wanted to create a freaking excellent video, and you did. But you did more than that. You inspired. Thanks man. You gave your best. And now your best is inspiring our best. God bless you.
genuinely one of the greatest videos discussing anime/manga ive ever seen, dont even know how i didnt know about your page before this video. GOAT. would love one about Great Teacher Onizuka.
Bro came back with the best video he’s ever created and one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. Thank you for telling us about these amazing mangas and it’s amazing creator. Thank you for being amazing.❤
I would say, for me at least, inoue's work is actually about coming to terms with humanity, you have limited time and an even more limited body to experience the world with. We spend too luch time to find meaning, when all the meaning there is to life is being, being the best, the happiest or better yet the most content you can
LOVE THIS !!! literally at the top of your game and your niche the ammount of effort put into this is APPARENT and i appreciate it a lot!!! Keep it up!

It means so much to, it’s changed my life in a way that no other piece of entertainment/ media has, outside of music ofc. Thank you Inoue-san
This is beautiful❤ I grew up on slam dunk-then read vagabond, and i feel the same. Wonderful author
I love that you dedicated a moment of your video to the moment in Slam Dunk where it feels like Inoue thought: "Wait, I'm the GOAT" and became what we know him to be.
Love the video! Watched it 3 times over the past 2 months.
Beautifully done!
This legit brought me to tears. Probably because my cat died today but holy shit, you communicated the emotions and passion found in this manga so well! I'll be sure to read it!
Thank you, and I hope you feel better man :)
Googoo gaga@@Ah_Lecks
this dude leaves for like a year and comes back with such a masterpiece of a video...just wow. This video really motivates me to start again with my art journey. Thanks man.
I just cried over you not posting for 9 months, but it's okay, because it was like you were pregnant for 9 months, and you cooked, delivered and served this video. Keep cooking king.
the hell is wrong with you, but you're right
What the fuck did i just read
Never saw this kind of Text in my Life i need therapy now
are you joking
Thank you for this masterpiece
I've never read anything from Takehiko Inoue, but the passion you have for his works feels like it's been perfectly captured in this video
REAL is the most beautiful, under appreciated piece of media I’ve ever seen, thank you for giving it some love here 🙏🙏
it’s always felt like inoue’s most personal and intimate manga to me, and I wish more people would give it a chance
Unfortunately they stopped at Vagabond and it's funny, there are people I know who don't know that he did other mangás.
Omg this is my favourite video of all time !! it literally brought me to tears the 9 month wait rewatching your videos idk how many times was fully worth it,I really can't describe how this video made me feel. my god!
"He named the series after the guy's power and then what he does with that power" Yeah that's crazy that would be like naming your series Fire Punch... wai-
Top notch video!
Thanks for sharing!
Naruto would be called "crybullying"
if only fujimoto didnt add his fetishes to everything
That's not Agni's power
Thank you so much for this. I’ve loved every second of it and it’s now one of my favorite UA-cam videos. I grew up watching slam dunk when I was very young and it used to be my fav show, and I just finished reading Slam Dunk a couple of weeks ago and having a total blast with it. I was disappointed with the lack of content regarding Inoue sensei and Slam Dunk in particular on UA-cam, but you uploaded your video at just the right time, so thank you for that!
LETS FREAKING GO FINALLY A NEW AH LECKS VID
Bro thank you, I am a huge fan of video essay style videos because it allows people to just talk about things that they are passionate about and interested in in a way that can be hard to convey otherwise. I've watched so many of these types of videos about so many different topics but this is far and away the best I have ever seen and was amazing to watch, thank you for sharing this
My favorite UA-camr makes an hour-long video about my favorite mangaka? Hell yea🔥
Sorry for the blabber session but I really hope that if anyone read through and I didn't seem too "all over the place" that you too can possibly realize that you have the capability to always change to become kinder and to try the trail the path of "Invincible under the Sun" (cheesy I know)
You've got yourself a sub!!!! Keep it up and thanks.
Single handedly one of the best UA-cam videos I have ever watched.
This made me feel things, and now im gonna go back and keep reading slam dunk since i dropped it after 5 chapters
bro i didnt even fckin read any of Takehiko Inoues works, but I had literal tears in my eyes at the end of this video
This
There’s actually a documentary about Dennis Rodman called “Rodman: for better or worse”. It walks through his entire life and shows what drove him to become the greatest rebounder of all time. It’s really good!

actually making me cry what a fucking good video
also man,, the "It's not necessarily bad. I wanted to give up several times, In the end, the result is correct." at 49:50 kills me
it hits me so hard as someone who wants to make and draw things, he doesn't say its good, but that its correct omfg
its too late to put it into words tonight but makes me rethink a ton about what ive made so far and what i want to make in the future
good luck brother
Genuinely one of the greatest videos on UA-cam that too few will ever see. Keep it up and you've made my day
i'm so glad you're back. i've never once found a video on the internet of someone conveying that much how i felt about mangas. all the video essays on yt are very cool, but they never quite showed how one can be obsessed with a manga, an author - hell, a single panel. they never really showed how personal reading those stories is, how you can spend days, weeks kinda being spaced out after finishing a manga, how much it can affect your life, how it can change your perspective of the world forever. i love your videos because i find myself in your words, the way you share your experience, your dedication to the manga you love. you had the courage and the will to try and put your passion into words, which is hella difficult and i respect you, but i want you to know that you're doing this so well. so i hope you're doing well, and don't put pressure on yourself too much
Hey Alex, I just finished the video and have to say this was really well made.
His manga's changed my life, and man, the passion that you put on this video, its like the best video on the history of youtube! im glad you're back
This is genuinely one of the best videos i’ve ever seen in my life. And every video is just getting better
Mom, Ah lecks finally posted again 😭😭🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️😭😭
Tell her I said hi
Amazing video, inoue as always been my favorite mangaka, and this is a perfect example of why i love him, thank you for this
Just finished the video, really well done.
20:47 missed opportunity to say "fuck it, we ball"
Never saw any video on youtube that explored and gathered so many information about Inoue's life and his masterpieces. Amazing video bro!!
one of the best video in the history thanks bro for this mesterpice
banger after banger after BANGER‼️‼️‼️ You never miss with these you are genuinely a video essay extraordinaire, never watched one of your video essays and not felt so inspired.
This video reignited all those feelings that I had the first time I picked up vagabond. What you're able to do is special. Thank you!
man i just love work of takehiko inoue and man this video shows the exact thing i want to know about him
yep man just loved the video and the music you used in this video
Bro...that's the greatest video I've ever seen on UA-cam...
Beautiful video man, couldn't sleep at all tonight so just watched this and it really reinforces why I love Takehiko Inoue's work!
bro the love to detail put in the videos is insane
youre the only reason i still watch UA-cam, pls keep up the work, youre amazing!!!
This video was everything!! I'm so glad you're back.
This was probably the most informative and in-depth analysis video on a Mangaka artist and his works I’ve ever seen. It was a great deep dive, thanks for this video !
Genuinely thank you so much for making these man, it's been so long since I've cried to a video because of how much love was put into it
Man, you are one of the few youtubers left who can genuinely can make me laugh out loud!
You have humour, you have style, you have something to say and you deserve more subs!
Keep up the good work my man!
what a beautiful video, thank you for making this.
You can't imagine how this video make me go through a rollercoaster of emotions, this mangaka just make feel stuffs I didn't know i could feel
when i saw that the video is 1 hour long i thought to myself no way i finish this .. then i see the quality content and the time u ve put into the first 5 min and i was thinking no way he keeps up the pace for 1 hour right but man has he proved me wrong really good job man u earned a sub
I really loved the video, I have read slam dunk and vagabond more than once. Both changed not only the way I look at the world but also the way I think of myself. And I think you were able to express that sentiment almost perfectly with your video. Thank you for giving us a fantastic video.
just watched the whole video and I really apreciate all the work and research you did on this video!!!!
Thank you for this
UA-cam has a cruel ability to insert an add right after a dramatic pause but within half a second of you piping up and I am going to destroy the robots
omg , that was a great piece of content i've been watching since like the last 4-5 months , waited for the night free time everytime, finally completed it , damnnn , INOUE's a legend , you AhLecks are a legend for this , i really needed this, sadly i dont got any basketball classes or shit near me , I so fking wanted to start playin basketball at this point, and yeah awesome man, i really wanna appreciate more but idk now aahhhhhh, i love this.
excellent work and excellent editing!! You can see the DNA of super eyepatch wolf running through the veins of this video
This video really inspired me to continue on this journey of growth. You may not know me but thank u sm
Immediate sub and I'm really looking forward to binging your entire catalogue of videos.
i will never stop watching you even if you're gone for 50 years.
This guy has no idea how he really impacted people's life
Thank you for this amazing video. I just reached episode 60 of Slam Dunk and thanks for not spoiling. This is honestly one of the best sports anime
Never left a comment this long on any UA-cam video😂
Thank you Alex. For back-breaking effort you put into this. You probably just wanted to create a freaking excellent video, and you did. But you did more than that. You inspired. Thanks man. You gave your best. And now your best is inspiring our best. God bless you.
wake up babe, new ah lecks video dropped
genuinely one of the greatest videos discussing anime/manga ive ever seen, dont even know how i didnt know about your page before this video. GOAT. would love one about Great Teacher Onizuka.
Bro didn’t die but instead blessed with an hour vid love this guy 🙌
Keep it up!
Ah Lecks finally left the Editing Dungeon so we can enjoy this video.
What a fuckin high quality, hyper polished, extremely passionate banger of a video man this is inspiring and incredible.
