    The person who admitted to liking when idols are hurt... Disgusting. Despicable.
    As someone who was violently bullied most of my childhood and has ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, and struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts for a long time, I cried when I heard The Last and it's what cemented my status as an army and a yoongi bias.

      They are idols, their personalities actually count too. A lot of people stan groups because of their extra content...especially in Korea, but it's spreading around the World. The real reason you become a longtime fan is most likely because of their personalities, that's why they are particularly attentive to their fans. You have the same phenomenon in the West actually, when our moms like a male singer for a long time, it's not for his songs only, but for his charisma.

    For Confession 46, one of the most funniest fights in KPOP was when Super Junior's Leeteuk, Eunhyuk and Donghae got into a fight in the corridors of Inkigayo, after Donghae played a prank on Leetuek when he was sleeping, Eunhyuk just happened to be there and Leeteuk woke up and thought it was him and so had a huge arse fight, in which Donghae and Eunhyuk started crying. This all happened only 2 hours before the show started in which Super Junior won the trophy, but everyone was so upset that they didn't even look at the camera AT ALL except Donghae who was smiling and waving as if HE didn’t start the whole thing.

      exactly, reading through the comments I feel bad for straight white men that actually enjoy Kpop cause now they are being made to feel guilty or bad for something they didn't do.
      and another thing that's weird is how people use the term STRAIGHT white men as an insult but are we forgetting how misogynistic and racist gay white men are, especially towards black women. so I don't get why all the accusations and judgments are always on the straight white men when I've seen a large amount of gay white men be straight up disrespectful.

Like you said, i understand the jokes, but this is a CONSTANT thing, and i just feel really bad for them bc they're constantly being attacked?! EXO is not ignored, their fanbase has just grown up so we aren't heavily in the internet spaces as we used to be, but we still support them. I'm 27 now and EXO is still my bias, I still support their solo endeavors and their music stays in rotation .....but I work, and I have a life and I have shit to do. Most Exo-ls are in our 20s and 30s but we still put our money where our mouth is .... Exist sold 1.5m first day without mass buying or mass streaming so trust me when I say that we are still here. The problem is that the group has not been fully active since 2018 so there haven't been many new younger fans. It's just mostly us older Exo-ls who have grown up with the band and have remained loyal over the years despite being mostly adults now.

      But isn't it disappointing seeing exo not do as well as BTS though they're on the same level? Yt views, Spotify monthly listeners, streams, etc. It's just not comparable. If EXO had a concert would they be selling out stadiums like BTS. It feels like the fandom is dying (shrinking).
      Even BigBang achieved higher mv views on yt than EXO along one of IKon's songs

    • @vikctoryan15
      @vikctoryan15 Рік тому +2

      @@LovelyLittleLillies Personally I don't care about views. I think that most views are empty and inflated and I don't have the time or desire to get involved with stream farms. Touring is the only tangible way to tell if an artist is actually successful anymore because many artists have millions of views but can't sell a concert ticket and then on the other hand many artists have less views and can sell out a show easily.
      Look at Jackson Wang, many people laughed at him when he announced his Magic Man tour, but his concerts ended up selling out in many locations worldwide with 15-20k audience per show. I attended his Barclay Center show in April and there were over 20k New Yorkers of all different races, genders, and backgrounds singing his songs word for word. Trust me, having a real supportive fanbase like that versus mass streams is way better.
      Plus, BTS's international success is because HYBE was forward-thinking in marketing them internationally from the beginning of their career while SM focused on marketing EXO to Asia. As a New Yorker, BTS has always had more visibility here even before they became famous here simply because of Hybe's marketing. If SM had invested in the international market sooner then it would be a different story but if we are being honest the EXO members don't seem very interested at all anyway. They seem quite comfortable with their success and are more interested in solo comebacks, acting, and other stuff at the moment. And the older/mature side of the fanbase like myself is ok with that.

      Yeah but the problem here is that EVERY race/ethnicity (regardless of sexual preference) has fetishized East Asians. The difference is it seems like white folks do it more simply because East Asians are more likely to dare a white person than other races. If EA dated other races as much as they did white folks and documented their interracial relationship online. You’ll see how much other races fetishized EA. Not to mention the fetish goes both ways. EA are aware they’re being fetishized and are okay with it because they fetishized them back. Much like how white women know there’s a good bit black man who fetishized them and only like them because their white. Those same women have no problem being with black man like that (not all black man that date with women do so out of a fetish) because they fetish black man. EA women and man know what they’re doing when they choose to date a white person who CLEARLY wants them because their EA. EA often joke about how easy it is to get a “green card” from white Americans who fetish them and want to bring them to the states.

    Also, i think we are not that motivated to stream anymore, because they don't visit MAMA anymore, so numbers mean nothing to us. But trust me, judging by their insta pics, they do not have any problems with money (and I'm happy for them)

    I think seven is okay not that good but not bad either. And I don't even care if someone will call it a bad song bc firstly, ik subjective music taste exists. And I'm not even a bts fan. And so Idc if someone says they doesn't likes any of their song. Bc it's alright, different music taste exists. The problem is ppl like YOU who compares a single song to an another artists whole discography. Like can we end this toxic behavior already? The thing that bothered me is you calling other ppl subjective music taste not just bad but indirectly, literally implying that jb's each and every song from his whole discography is better than this song. Gurl, did you really just implied your subjectivity music taste to be right by saying jb had no bad song except yummy? Bc no that's a reach. Maybe you used to never listen to his bside tracks. Each albums used to contain 20+ songs, do you really think each and every song can fit to your taste? If yes, then you are clearly al biased person and we don't listen of biased ppl opinion. Specially, when they say their opinion as If it's right😂
    I mean in your subjective music taste it's okay, but when you compare it to other song and to say no one will would ever take it to him is just a stretch. Again I'm not even a bts fan and I'm not taking his side in anyway. I had said it for any other artist who would had mentioned there instead of him. Bc to compare a song to an another artist whole discography shows you have no comprehension skills 💀 gurl, do you even know how many songs he have in his discography? Not just more than bts but you can combine a lot kpop groups discography and he still would have more. Again you can say that in your opinion but don't give your opinion as if all of jb's song have charted at 1 and as if seven didn't charted at all. And before someone comes at me about charting song. Jb still has an influence. He isn't any lesser than any kpop idol. He is role model of many of your fave kpop idol. So yeah don't come at with with bts fans made their song charted as if we didn't saw other members solo not doing well. And as if jb's Fandom didn't invented streaming methods. I'm literally a jb fan so ik about my Fandom very well. And seven getting compliments left and right by non kpop fans. I understand subjective music taste exists but calling a song not just bad but way bad than an another artists whole discography shows that ya'll music taste is the actual problem. Just bc you don't like it doesn't means it's a good song. If million of ppl like it including non kpop fans that means it's a good song so get over it.

No one from his training group in the military has said anything negative about him. So yes, from what I’ve seen I think Kai is humble and sweet, he loves kids and definitely wants to be a dad someday, when he and Jennie were dating he’d drive her to work all the time, he’s deeply passionate about his craft and that shows in the performances he produces.
