1:50 will forever be one of the greatest breakdowns of all time
😂.

No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”
― Socrates
This song helped me build 18 inch arms. The remastered version will help me get to 20 inches.
Elisha Long (puts on Ahnold voice).. DO IT NOW!!!!!!
Crazy. I'm subscribed to him as well.. great minds think alike lol
I want to like this but it’s at 69... it’s something.
Everyone who is bitching about how it doesn't sound any heavier than the origional is missing the point. When they originally released the album, they had just gotten signed and had no where near the production value that they have now. The point of remastering the album was to clean up a lot of the muddy sections that come with a low recording budget. They wanted to make the album tighter and more clear sounding, not heavier. If you need proof just listen to the old and new versions of Empires Erased, and listen to how much more clear the vocals are.
Do you have a source on their comments about them saying that? Would like to read the interview if you do. Also, bands sometimes celebrate an albums anniversary by occasionally playing the album in its entirety on tour. However, completely rerecording, producing and mastering seems like a cop out instead of putting out a new album. Considering the decline (IMO) of their music since The Discovery I think they're playing it safe by not writing new material or at least postponing it. Again, just my opinion.
Check on Joe's Instagram he has an interview on there that confirms what he said
Daniel Marino-Austin I don't necessarily think it's a cop out to them writing new music, a lot of bands often re-release older music in different ways. A lot of 80's bands have multiple greatest hits albums, live albums, acoustic releases, ect... So was a remaster warranted, or even asked for? Probably not. Are there people who are glad that it was re-released? Yes.
When I saw them tease this on snap I was hoping they were using 7 strings this time around but lee replied saying 6 string 😭😭😭.
I fucking am glad about the release. Fuck yeah!
Born Of Osiris have been consistent throughout the years.
And in my opinion, they are better than ever before.
still blows my mind how heavy these guys can make Drop C sound
Sorry this is such an old comment but...
THEY PLAY IN DROP C?!
I swore they tuned lower...
@@DylanTVylan there's no way this is in drop c
@@creativesoul96_33 oh it’s in drop c for sure. They always write in drop c on 6 strings and if they use 7 strings it’s drop g
@@e.goeke_ this is drop g for the rerecording, as is all their new material, but their first 2 albums, this included, is drop c on 6string
@@taylorbryan3647 This is definitely in drop c, homie.
can't wait to hear this live..
This was a beautiful song to see played live by them omg its forever engraved in my memory 😊
3 years ago? The future has something for you . Lmao
It’s a brutiful feeling brotha 🤘
It's great live
1:50 STILL BADASS EVEN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS.
Good god it’s so perfect . Original
And this one . Been listening ever since the first one. And saw them 5 years ago about now in a little venue in Mesa, AZ and like 7 years ago at a tiny venue in Vegas . The drummer signed a drumstick for me after the show which is an honor for me because I’m a metal drummer myself. One of the most musically talented bands out there in my opinion. Just insane .
This breakdown is what got me into born of Osiris damn near 20 years ago....
BOO THROWS THE SICKEST SHOWS IVE SEEN THEM 10 TIMES ILL GO 10 TIMES MORE FOR THIS ALBUM. HAVENT BEEN THIS EXCITED SINCE THE DISCOVERY
It's weird hearing this after hearing the original about 1000x times, but I'm still down with it.
I love the original version, but Im serious when I say that the last breakdown from 2:48 to end is BEAUTIFUL.
Overall the production on these songs so far are a MASSIVE improvement from the original. Some added screams, added drumfills, added guitar licks (tighter chugs too), and completely redone synths. Why are you people crying? Though i wish this song was a little faster tempo like the original. You can tell that they slowed it down a bit. But overall astounding!
BOO is BOO. Never disappoints.
Is it me or do these dudes pop out albums left and right and this is a dope remake
If they don't release a full length this year (which they probably don't) I would be a bit disappointed because I kinda got used to that they drop an album every two years.
Me encantó la re-remasterización y la re-grabación, este EP quedó fenomenal, me sorprende que algunos "prefieran la anterior versión", cuando claramente es lo mismo con la diferencia de que las notas son más claras y sin embargo no deja de sonar brutal.!
Keep brutal
BOO has been in my heart since some years, i pretty love the remake of the CD.
Thanks guys
those riffs! oml!!! 0:58 & 1:30
FUCK YES. You are lying to yourself if you don't get hype as fuck when 1:50 hits
Andrew Baena HEY LOOK ITS ANDREW
not as brootal... sorry bro, i bet u like Black Veil Brides also...
HYPE? I FUCKING LOSE ALL MY SHIT WHEN IT STARTS
the old keys get me more hyped. maybe because I feel like theres more key attack(pick attack?) in the original. I feel the same with guitar solos, if I hear pick attack and can tell this dude put in the work to learning this song (jason solos vs cams project) then I vibe to it more. not saying the new sound is complete shit, just not my cup of tea.
Keith Cimo yeah I totally haven't been listening to BOO since this album originally came out
This one my favorite
Glad they're putting this out because I probably wouldn't have gone back and really gotten into the original since I only got into BoO a couple years ago. These songs are really well written and I'm ecstatic that I can experience this technically executed piece of art.
The nastiness of the original recordings honestly make them amazing. I love the newer recordings too, don't get me wrong, but there's magic in the original. I highly recommend giving it a listen.
@@clarkh3314 I agree, it’s just the fact that you can’t recreate the time period in which the originals were recorded. You can’t recapture the youthful angst and emotions that were put into the recordings almost 15 years ago
@@clarkh3314 Ya I actually love the original EP too now. A lot of parts and songs I prefer on the original actually, but still grateful that this version introduced me to these tracks. I've probably listened to the original EP just as much as this version at this point haha.
BOO is the definition of "you can copy my home work just change it a little" but I love them so I don't mind.
Nice remaster.
re recording. remixed. everything
djentalicious I think you meant re-issue
Leonardo Mijares it's not a re-issue... a re-issue is an album of remasters. This is a re-recorded album.
djentalicious a remaster would mean taking the original mix and, well.. master it again. This is not the case, as this is, not only a new mix but also a new recording.
I like some parts of this re recording
But nah, I still think this album was ok the way it was on the original release
Exellent. Sick track. Technically crazy.
KB CREATIVE I love the rhythm changes, and playing a lot of sounds. That's all. My opinion.
Cameron, who is the drummer and has been since the inception of the band, wrote the entire EP. So I don't know what you're talking about.
What are you talking about? The five current members (Ronnie, Lee, Joe, David, and Cameron) have all been around since 2007. Three of those dudes (Ronnie, Joe, and Cameron) have been in the band since 2003.
My Boo knows what i like.
born of osiris is one of that bands that released an album, and it was a masterpiece and they just keep trying to relive and revive that old sound without going anywhere new and it just doesn't come anywhere close to what they had before. they either need to change or quit.
haha i love how "old school sound lovers" hate this song.. mainly bc boo has no money back then and the recording sounds pretty shitty (soundwise) i think this hd recordings are pretty amazing and much more accurate with a real live sound
omer quiaragua "the recording sounds pretty shitty" you have no clue what you're on about.
omer quiaragua this recording sounds like it was generated by computers. This does not sound lively at all. The original sounds dynamic and full. This however sounds completely flat.
Chickenwomp oh, right I haven't produced a successful album, so that means my opinion isn't valid, because we all know any and everything that sells is a MASTERPIECE, that is exempt from all criticism. Sorry, next time I won't use 'BIG words' like "full" to describe a mix. I'll try my best to dumb it down for you.
hahaha ok man... whatever u said like "flat" its ok for me.. nevertheless original sound was pretty rough tho.. wheter u want it or not.. so.. i think its cool to have a new sound for this upcoming album. if we always argue over the internet stupid things like my opinion over this song, we may never enjoy music so.. i respect u bro.. enjoy music ♥ and have a nice day
omer quiaragua but it's not rough at all. That's how most metalcore albums sounded back than.. You're just used to this new era of production where everything sounds so polished to the point where it sounds fake. There's no feeling in this. Like I said it sounds computer generated.
Oh yeah, this is so DAMN TIGHT.
I love this just as much as the original. ill own both on CD too, and jam to both. haters need to calm down, we still have the original, and they would have hated any new music they'd release regardless........ so...
This is my favorite track off the album! Sounds so HD ...bruh the acid is kicking in... The Eternal Reign is bonkers!!!
BOO never dissapoints
Needs more Teehee's
David Buthker Suicide Silence needs to just stay silent. Eddie fucked the band.
Chris Pinera SS's new album is so weird. Heard it all, it's chill tbh. Listen to it and just be chill, it's not too bad. Definitely not SS tho
Needs more "Alright, Alright, Alrighhhttt"
I KNEW IT! NICK SAMPSON PRODUCED AND MADE THIS AMAZING AF GOD I LOVE HIM!!!! EVERYONE SHOULD RESPECT THE ONE TRUE KING!!!!
this revision allows majesty induction.
The ending is great I can't wait to see Lee pretend to play it live.
Wow. I never even knew they rerecorded these tracks! I think it is super cool. Both versions have their strengths and weaknesses, but I think it really reveals the dynamics of age and the effect it has on the mind. The original recording had that fire associated with a haphazard youth. This version is like, "I now have a full time job, health insurance, and a 401K."
can't believe they remade this.. fucking hilarious. kinda a dream come true.
I personally love the new mix. The kick doesn't sound triggered to hell and back, guitar parts are more distinguishable, vocals aren't buried and hollow, and the new synth is a nice touch as well.
I don't get how people can listen to this and say it sounds bad and they'll take the original over it. In my humble opinion I love how much more dynamic and refined this mix is.
Best thing I could've asked for on Valentine's Day
MY FAVORITE TRACK
empires erased was better than the original recording but this was not better than the original recording. The synth-breakdown doesn't sound half as good as the original recording
Patrick C SAY WHUUUTTT?!
Patrick C Also, the delivery of "This is over with" in the original was so much better. Missing the lows in this track. I've got some reasonably low expectations for the vocals in Brace Legs, I don't even have to mention which part haha
it's the guitar tone they're using. not enough beef
yeh this sounds like they used baby's first metalzone pedal. thin as shit
Engelbert Twinkleton this makes me so sad. the original was a big chunky beat down...
Awesome remaster. Probably my favorite album.
absolute favorite boo song out there, way too wicked to hear this
woooohooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fav song from 2007 Osiris. Too sick
original boo is still the best
They explored a sound on this record, that they never fully excavated. They took a left when they needed to dig here^
Pls bring back the feeling that 'Tomorrow We Die Alive' gave us.
lokissue Cheung The Discovery*
Yeah my boi Cameron kills it!
This is the best possible recreation the band members could have released because they would not have put out anything but; The New Reign, I'm sure, means more to the band than it could to any listener simply because of what that album did for them. Not only did this album influence the genre as a whole but it also sky rocketed the band to relative fame. In such a case, it would be rediculous to assume that the band would re record what some consider to be their best effort in any fashion that would be less than "perfect" to them, the full realization of their musical vision a decade ago.
All that remains are matters of personal opinion ripe with sentiment. These guys put out an amazing album not only to energize and satisfy fans new and old, but to infuse over a decades worth of writing, touring, and evolving into one goddamn beautiful achievement of music.
I say bravo, gentlemen, and may you always continue to impress and captivate the metal masses.
Fuckin' bow down.
More than I could have ever expected. Amazing!
I dig both versions. This sounds super crisp, but remember people, it's the UA-cam stream of it so the actual version will sound more full. UA-cam drops the quality a little
I really like this version too
omg the music of the world
he's the best
@2:50 it is really dope
Wow my high school years have returned. This is sick summerian is still on top.
this is an art for banging my abstract soul !!!
Guys you are crazy... this is way to good!!!
This is best thing i hear last time in 2007 when Boo released Abstract Art.... Wait what?
I wish every band would remaster their old stuff
I always come back to this album.
this updated version really highlights just how well written this track is.
I like them both. I don't see what everyone's all butt hurt about it sounds awesome. I personally like the synth better on this version as well.
cant wait for this to drop
I love the new mix but there are several parts I miss about the original mix.
2020 still metal
Aside from the synth at 1:50 (which I prefer the older version) , I love this version. Much better quality
wow these guys are really going back to their original style
The keyboards are even more hideously awesome this time around!
Those New Key presets are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤒🤒
MORE MORE MORE !!!!!!
Solid remaster! Still appreciate the original more. Must be the black metal in me.
Noticing this made me almost spill my coffee!!
It's like they couldn't decide what song to play so every 30 seconds they have a single note rest and play a different song
my ears like... like it a lot!
ABSTRACT ART REMASTER OMFG YESSSSS NOW GIVE US BOW DOWN
Lord of Deathcore re-recorded
Their best album ever and now it's even better....
10 years later.....still the best band i ever heard imo
1:49 greatest breakdown
Good god... This is epic.
The synth breakdown lost some of its umf but the drop at the end has such a kick to it now
wow this is pretty sick. honestly they haven't faded at all over the years.
I love both versions and idk what people are talking about with the synth I like it better in this for some reason.
Espectacular
I liked the little robot sounding voice in the old old one. And the one little part that reminded me on donkey kong country when your under water
This is going on repeat once it releases. I have been waiting for a vinyl drop of this and it's finally here and remastered!
Somuch yes!!!
The new reign album gave me so many good memories, and this is going to make whole lot memorable moments.
This has always been my favorite BOO song. Awesome to hear it redone!
pretty sure this version exhibits perfect articulation of this songs melody.
Lee's outro solo
The vocals have improved in quality for sure.
Good thing I didn't listen to the 2007 album, now I can't bitch about how much better it was.
It cracks me up how people hate on this. It's fucking brilliant.
BOO and Attila are the most lit metal bands live
My goodness I saw them live last friday in Minneapolis and HOLY CRAP they were great, this song in particular.
0:58 and this is the only reason i love this song
