Thanks for taking us on that great Train Journey. Great Filming ! Visited Wales from NZ in 2019, and LLangollen was my favorite Town!. You bought back some nice memories.😀

Whilst not a steam train, these multiple units were part of the railway for as long-if not longer- than many classes of steam engine. Great to see these examples so well looked after.
You missed a trick not sitting behind the Driver and seeing the line ahead. One of the great things about most of these units was the way you could sit in the leading carriage and see both the Driver and the line ahead- I can remember coming across the Forth Bridge in about 1991 in a similar unit and seeing the bridge loom up and around our little unit as it rumbled across.
Modern trains are very boring and uncomfortable by comparison☹. Thanks for sharing -all volunteer heritage railways need love and support if we are to keep all this heritage alive for the future.

Nice video - it's been a long time since I was in Llangollen, the station next to the river is very picturesque. When my children were young we used to have a few days in Criccieth and ride on the ffestiniog railway as well as visiting the rabbit farm and piggery pottery - happy days !!
