Lovely walk , looks amazing. Have you tried tried using trekking poles ? They make Ascending and descending much easier, providing way more Stability uncomfortable comfort, Thanks for sharing .

I agree Betty nothing better than these micro adventures. They really do touch us in the right place. Awesome winter scene there and hey winter games. Love it. I always find it interesting. I was just up a hill called Gwaunceste Hill in Mid Wales recently and it is nearly 600 meters but it doesn;t look like yours there. They look impressive - there are great looking hills here but they're more rounded. Any way, fantastic none the less. Mark
I have yet to explore much of Wales, only the popular areas around Snowdonia, and yet there are some real gems out there that you show us Mark. Gwaunceste Hill sounds like a great one, think it's one of the beauties of hiking in different areas, how each hill and fell can look so different regardless of height!
