I have tried them and honestly, they are very close to department store brand boots. I look at them for someone who is low on cash and wants the boot look without spending the money for a good boot. Also, if you have kids in junior high or high school that wants a pair of boots. Nothing wrong with folks who like them but don't say they purposedly build them with the materials for comfort when they are doing it to cut costs,
My Captains (Natural) are 6 years old, love them still, and am about to purchase a set of Diplomats, just need to choose a colour. Was set on Harvest, but these look great too ❤
Captain in natural is THE hidden gem of the TBC lineup. Both harder to find on their site but also the only Horween leather option until the more expensive and different style vangaurds.
I am enjoying your videos and I am looking forward to hearing how the Luos Jiet boots hold up. It would be interesting if you ever purchase the paratrooper boots (Iron Ranger copy) and/or one of their service boots. Best to you!
Thanks for the comment! I was actually going to start asking in the videos what people would be interested in me buying next. I’m thinking the service boots are next.
@@YouShoe-1985 I have considered their service boots but I have a hard time with finding the right size (I measure 12.25 on the Brannock in a B width) so a review of the service boot would be informative. Thanks again!
It's not snobby to want leather footbeds. it's just that some of us are less comfortable with synthetic footbeds/insoles, and the leather alternative is much more comfortable for us.
Thursday has a great marketing campaign. They've built their sales online, around social media influrncers. They have gotten people to believe that $200 is a good price for cardboard, foam, and lower quality leather. There are other low priced shoes with Goodyear welts. Thursday isn't any better than a shoe from Kohl's or JCPenney.
