Out of all the OG MC unit upgrades in the series... This one comes across as really underwhelming. The EX-Exbein from the 2nd OG pulled off the idea of a "Super Huckebein" FAR better.
Lets be honest, that thing was so over-the-top that just about anything that will come after it will look underwhelming. I mean, it makes an ARMY of blackholes dude... where do you go from there?
The shot at the end is supposed to portray that the beam saber was massive because of the distance between 30th and the enemy, but the angle is off and the sword strike is too quick. They kinda failed lol
What people don't understand about this unit is that the Huckëbein 30th is a combination of all previous Huckëbein's in the series. The Photon rifle is obviously drafted from the 009 unit (god i love using that unit), the double graviton rifles were from both the MK-III and Exbein, with the wing stabilizers on each end obviously from the Ex-Exbein. The Full Impact burst animation seems like it's inspired by the Huck's black hole cannon ATK animation on either @ or SRW 4. I just wish the final attack were a bit more refined, similar to the V version and the Ex-Exbein from OGs 2nd, where you can clearly feel the strength on the attack.
As much as i like the new attack, it doesnt have the feel of FINAL attack, hell it doesnt even feel stronger than the black hole attack ffs, its kinda underwhelming tbh
It literally has the same Power Notation as Black Hole Cannon. That being said, I personally think the choppy animation throughought the whole attack kinda makes it look much weaker.
I feel like if they have a 2 types of Exbein 30/ 30th which is Edge will have a Type-R (Blue) and Azu will have a Type-L (Red) exist in the OG timeline
Imma go ahead and guess that the Roche Saber Overbreak was never actually planned and rushed for the DLC. Would explain the lack of Pilot Cut-In and the exceedingly choppy animation compared to... well everything else in the game.
The 30th upgrade could've been so much better honestly instead of the awkward backpack because of the black hole cannon. At least it has a very satisfyingly powerful sound for the graviton rifle
The final attack is really weird, I'd be honest. You see, in the beginning, the 30th moves really smooth and fast but then, it moves really slowly but very fluid. Arios team did a good job, but the whole attack doesn't stay in one piece. That reminds me, it's the only attack that the Arios team does in this final DLC.
manbthat month packge of black hole cannon is still awkward to see even now. i hope they just can launch it from mothership like how Red 05 in anime did.
Instead of adding the new lame attack (without pilot cut-in as well), why didn't they revamp the animation of Black Hole Cannon, add more pilot cut-in and finishing animation???? Black Hole Cannon and Graviton Rifle are enough to destroy everything! If they want, they should add a map attack!
Yes I was shocked it doesn't have a map attack at all...I was hoping it got a new look entirely once it got the upgrade or reference like in V for which type we seek Power or Speed.

You're not the first to make that distinction. It's because it was designed by Hajime Katoki, the designer of a majority Gundams from across the franchise. The Huckebein is an original machine that originated in Super Robot Wars.
It's a Gundam powered by E.O.T. Similar to How Reccoa had that Dom in Zeta but 95% Nemo. So to paraphrase a Certain Zeon commander "This ain't a Gundam, Boy. No Gundam"

The new attack was done by Arios-san instead of the the one who animated the Huckbein originally, that's why it looks so different.

That was the only super robot series i stop playing midway it is getting worse in term of animations of the main mech.
