No wonder the crowd is not cheering. 'Celestial' fails as a Pokémon song. It feels dated, and the lyrics make no sense. 'Acacia' by Bump Of Chicken is loved to this day for being authentic.
Well its not per say a song based on Pokémon as like the games and such which I don’t think many people get, I believe the song is a representation of how life is full of struggles and ups and downs and we go through it day in and day out and we don’t know what it could bring like he says “tonight could go either way” like up or down good or bad, cause that’s how life is, he sings about Pokémon itself as an escape from life’s struggles, a getaway that doesn’t make you struggle or worry about anything and just enjoy yourself with the friends you make in the game being the Pokémon, they are his celestials, mythical beings that bring him joy and happiness. It’s more about the feelings it gives him rather than like “let’s go an adventure” type of thing. If that makes sense
@@ItBeToasty "Hearts balanced on a razor blade" and "Drunk on stars" have widely been regarded as the worst in the song when talking about Pokémon. 'Acacia' by Bump Of Chicken is a song about being with friends, which does work in a series like Pokémon, and being a rock song gives an adventure sense.
