I always keep a list of gift ideas if a friend or family mentions a movie they haven't seen or something that they love. Sure helps when it comes time for Christmas and birthdays.

Hello, a recent sub and really appreciate your organizational vids. It brings me back to my childhood where I grew up, we were trained to make/write goals on a daily basis in school.
We literally had a personal/group/class journal. It might sound a lot but it help every individual and fun to look back at the end of school year. We were able to track down our process by doing this as well. I just lost that habit and want to bring that back in my life. I love writing things down. I’m inspired by your videos and would love to see your things/items/details on your list if you don’t mind sharing.
I’m out of verbs/words to describe my personality. It will help me to see the adjective that fits me the most.
      Thanks again😉
      Xoxo

    Thanks Melody!
Here's a list: everything you spend money on (so you can make/keep a budget/economize)
I like this thin book but wish it was made of stainless steel so it will last for decades of heavy wear and tear
Have you heard of the Artist's Way? It includes writing 3 pages per day (regardless of what you have/don't have to say), a note book like this would make such a practice manageable and keep cost low.
Another category would be contacts (doctors, insurance agent, attorney, accountant, plumber...all those folks who you rely on to keep your life together). In addition include details about your utilities: this helps folks who have wells, septic systems, multiple contacts for electricity/gas/solar, as well as, home maintenance (lawn care, snow removal, roofer, house cleaner).
Another idea for this list book: your wishes for end of life decisions (help loved ones out by telling them your wishes before you are in situation where you cannot communicate these things). Might sound morbid but it is just another thing that clutters up some folks' minds...Here is a binder video I saw recently that explicitly details what I mean...

This may seem ridiculous to some, but after many years of trying all kinds of planners, notebooks, systems, apps, etc., the best & simplest solution for me now is a thick, 6" x 8" hardcover notebook that costs $3.00 at Big Lots! The hard cover makes it easy to write in, without having to set it on a hard surface, so I can use it anywhere. It has so many pages and is so inexpensive, I can write everything in it, and tear pages out without a care. (Great for leaving notes for my family when I leave the house & tearing out the grocery list to take into the store). It has a handy elastic page holder attatched to the back cover. Everything is in one place, from lists to notes of all kinds, and it's an abundant source of "pieces of paper." I find the simplicity of that really frees up my mind. DIY pockets could easily be added to the covers. Also fits into my bag. All that for the low, low price of $3.00 (plus tax), and one book lasts around 2 - 3 months! P.S. Your new notebook is very nice, too. :) The flexible covers wouldn't be my preference, but maybe they sell hard ones?

Love listing Everything on graph paper! But needed to be able to move it, I was able to find a disc bound planner really cheap and headed to office Depot and bought the TUL hole punch!!

I have a list of what I have to do when I get home from a contracting job. The list is very helpful because at the end of the day I am exhausted and tend not to do the stuff I need to do to prepare for the next job. For instance it says- schedule next appointment if needed, unload tools from car, refill used up supplies, confirm tomorrow's appointment, put payments into bank deposit envelope, drink a glass of water, wash/dry/fold cleaning cloths, return certain things to storage place. Organization frees me up to concentrate on more important things. Thanks for sharing your lists

I’m a huge fan of arc notebooks! It was a fantastic system. The best part is exactly what you said, it’s customizable! Pages are so easy to remove and add! I had 2 notebooks, one was curated as my daily planner and notebook, the other was my hard copy for bookkeeping. I can definitely see the excitement in this video and I absolutely love it!

I would love to see your minimalist wardrobe list(s). My wardrobe is small compared to many of my friends, but as a senior retiree, I'm interested in intelligent
minimalism. I MUST finish packing quickly for my move to a smaller place, but the downsizing decisions are draining me physically & mentally. I have so little energy, Im about ready to just pack most of it & sort it out after I've moved.

I loved this video. And it helped me get organized too. I used to make lists but somehow i fell out of that habit. But I always only focused on major tasks, not accounting for little things, which limited the usefulness of my lists as little things took up a lot of my time. Also there are projects, I have been trying to work on but wasn't organized enough to get started on them. But now I believe I finally know how can I can go about them.
Thanks for this most helpful video!!

    That is amazing!
The elusive search for the ‚perfect‘ notebook keeps me up at night, too.
My favorite pet peeve: the ones where you can exchange pages are too bulky, but the permanent ones are never as ‚perfect‘ as I like...I just need to be able to exchange and improve things, even in my notebook. It’s like a blueprint for my life 😀
And it comes in hot pink, my favorite color of all times. Practical items never come in pink otherwise!
Lol...sadly I don’t live in the U.S. but you inspired me to look around for a similar product here.
I would be surprised, if it didn’t exist...

Plus, covers can be wiped down easily, or replaced! FYI, Tul makes fantastic pens. Check out the needle point version, in colors. Makes writing even more fun!

Misplaced an important one, tried a 5 subject notebook ran out of pages in 2 categories, loose leaf binder too bulky. Wasting money bugs me; this looks like a great buy and great idea. Thank you.

Really good idea, I love lists for everything. But if you had them electronically on your phone, then you can modify them and not have to re-write. It's good to be organised but also good to take life as comes sometimes. Some of the things that we never plan and are often are the best 😄

I love taking notes too, thanks for bringing this to our attention!

I divide things into chores...1 time and done, and projects, stuff that's going to be multiple steps, have to wait on a reply, part in the mail, etc! Very useful. Have a wishlist vs an actual shopping list. Love lists :) love the Keep app too. Best listmaker app :). I have a section for poetry and poetic thoughts. Quotes from books, beautifully written descriptions, evocative words etc.

Hello. Im a new subscriber. Those rings are being sold at craft stores. There very popular on youtube with peple making Junk Journals and such like it. They customize theirs with colored paper and lots more, not your minimalist style. BUT you can get more of just those binder rings sold separately if you want. Most people use a hole punch also on plain paper if needed to ad, or a look of a magazine page you want to ad, with a whole punch...etc.

Your organizational system most certainly looks very tidy, pretty & uncluttered, but lists are just not my thing, especially on paper. Digitalization simplifies the process of organizing various aspects of life - you could just delete, cut, copy & paste everything at any given point in time and it should remain neat and tidy. Moreover, it saves MUCH time and time is an especially precious resource to be wasted :).
