In all honesty, do not be afraid! It's taken me 8 YEARS! to speak English at the highest level; so there is going to be a certain time investment no matter what. I can safely say however that THIS is time well spent if you're looking into learning German.
im a car guy attempting to learn German just so I can watch Nürburgring videos without relying on subtitles and I've been using Duolingo, actually hearing the words from someone who doesn't sound like a French robot really helps, thank you for this.

ashley gibson Ja das solltest du auch dann am besten durchziehen, das macht dich bestimmt symphatischer. Now in your language: Yes, that's the best way to do it, that will make you more likeable.
With over 15 years experience in language learning and teaching, I have found the best way to learn any language is to begin by exposing myself solely to audio for a couple of hours each day for 6 - 8 weeks, while aiming all the while to visualise how words might be spelt. It is important for this content to start basic, progressing to a post-beginners standard, and for grammar rules to be kept simple, giving learners insight into sentence constructions. Repetition is quintessential, so as to become confident with pronunciation and intonation, as well as being comfortable with the sound of one's own voice in a foreign language. Once I have a solid foundation, my preference is to learn vocabulary from dictionaries and construct my own sentences, and then delve into topic-based audio courses which introduce dialogues and include accompanying scripts. Around this time, I will focus more on verb tense conjugations and relevant endings, before looking, after a year or so, at colloquial language and idiomatic expressions.

See i grew up in germany for 10 years and i never learned the language (english household) but for some reason i picked up a skill where if i hear or see a german sentence, i can pick up on what people are talking about and what they are saying but i cant acctualy speak german off the top of my head. Its weird but im finally deciding to learn the language cause its something that i never did when i had the chance. Hopefuly this weird skill will become an advantage to make it easier and not harder😓 wish me luck guys

Hallo, Im from Armenia and I’m learning German🙂🇦🇲 🇩🇪 Danke sehr for your videos, they are really helpful! I’m crazy but I set my goal- I’m gonna be fluent in German in 2 weeks, I already know the bases, because I used to learn German at school for one year, it was about 10 years ago but still haven’t forgotten what I learnt, I used to get straight A’s in German classes. I know that my goal might seem to ambitious but why not, I think that with intensive learning I’m gonna succeed😊
LMAO guys Imma be honest I had lots of learning aside because I study law so only now after law exams I was able to learn German, I started today, I already freshened up my bases, each day I’m going to be upgrading my knowledge so see you guys in 2 weeks I’m gonna update you for sure 😂❤️
Am Learning German because after quarantine a.k.a. after a couple of days I’m gonna go to Austria and I wanna know the basics of German I have been studying it for the past week I hope I do good there🤞🏼🖤✨
It's easier if you break it down, those are compound words! We have em in English some, but boy do Germans love them. Lets take the word Haustier for example. Not too long, but what could it mean, and how could we memorize it? Well lets break it up. Haus tier. Well we know Haus means house, and tier is animal. House animal? Must mean pet! Thats how I learn new compound words. I look at what each individual word means, so instead of learning a whole new word, you just know the smaller words.
but why do you learn that language? english is not too difficult, but then learning a third or even fourth language and being able to talk fluent is so hard and time consuming. dont know why so many people want to learn german, as it is one of the most difficult. only learning for a job? i dont really know how it is in other countries, but in my opinion, there are better countries than germany. i dont like the coldness here, long winter, often some very stressed and unfriendly people, high taxes, and educational system where you have to work and learn like a robot, pretty unhuman, like a slavery where you work until you are 67 years old and then get monthly a really really small retire money, in the future it will be too less to survive with that
L. P. I'm from germany and I agree with you. Germany isn't probably a wonderful country, but there are a lot of good things, too. The landscape is beautiful and the people are often nice. Okay, maybe germany isn't perfect. Yes, germany failed often. But I love this country with all the mistakes. (The language english is such an amazing language!) :D
I'd like to think I'm getting quite good at German, but as I'm learning more complicated stuff, it takes longer to remember the basics, so I hope this video will help me remember things I've already learnt!
Thank you so much for this! I just started to learn German and your classes are really helping me. I don't know, but it sounds so beautiful, it's an amazing language, I'm learning a lot thanks to you! 👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
If you are still interested in learning German or improve youre German please anwer me I can teach you everything and will answer all youre questions :))
Wow! Thank you so much. I am watching your videos both for improving my flawed english while I learn german. They are easy to understand and very helpful.
Dominik man you have helped me so much! I have been referring a lot of people to your site...I was recently in Dusseldorf where I got a chance to practice what I have learned from your course.
First of all, thanks for the video, very neat and helpful. However, Be nice if you added caption to what you be saying when doing the one on one conversation. I feel like it would help a lot to keep up with all the different answers expressions and responses if they some how subtitles pop up into the screen right before you move on to your next take. Great stuff. Thank you!

This is honestly incredibly helpful. I especially like how thorough everything is and that there are pauses for you to practice as if you're really having a conversation! Danke!!
Why do you respond in English, not in German?
In GERMANY
Expansion:
1 „Hallo ich bin Reinhold, wie heißt du?“
2„Ich heiße Brigitte, und mag Brezeln 🥨“
Reality:
1 „Alo Isch bin Achmet, du?“
2 „Ey Diggah geh mal weg“
1 „Nein Bruder, lass Shisha rauchen“
2 „ja man! voll gute Idee, bin schwanger und 13“
Ich habe mehr gelacht, als ich es hätte tun sollen :'D

Hallo, Im from Armenia and I’m learning German🙂🇦🇲 🇩🇪 Danke sehr for your videos, they are really helpful! I’m crazy but I set my goal- I’m gonna be fluent in German in 2 weeks, I already know the bases, because I used to learn German at school for one year, it was about 10 years ago but still haven’t forgotten what I learnt, I used to get straight A’s in German classes. I know that my goal might seem to ambitious but why not, I think that with intensive learning I’m gonna succeed😊
1 week later, hows the progress???
How is it going?
LMAO guys Imma be honest I had lots of learning aside because I study law so only now after law exams I was able to learn German, I started today, I already freshened up my bases, each day I’m going to be upgrading my knowledge so see you guys in 2 weeks I’m gonna update you for sure 😂❤️

Alaric the Vinlander Dankeschön

@xwinniez break it up into pieces. Funf und zwan zig and you will eventually get it

As my first teacher
Mine der erste lehrnen Danke!!💕❤🇦🇪🇩🇪🇬🇧
Thank you very much for all the time and effort you put on to teach German. Such a beautiful language
but why do you learn that language? english is not too difficult, but then learning a third or even fourth language and being able to talk fluent is so hard and time consuming. dont know why so many people want to learn german, as it is one of the most difficult. only learning for a job? i dont really know how it is in other countries, but in my opinion, there are better countries than germany. i dont like the coldness here, long winter, often some very stressed and unfriendly people, high taxes, and educational system where you have to work and learn like a robot, pretty unhuman, like a slavery where you work until you are 67 years old and then get monthly a really really small retire money, in the future it will be too less to survive with that
Also it's very much like latin
please help me to learn

First of all, thanks for the video, very neat and helpful. However, Be nice if you added caption to what you be saying when doing the one on one conversation.
