I know it's just a box but I think it's very important when toy companies use high quality boxes for these products. First impressions mean a lot and having a really cool and sexy box (like this or say Carnage) really makes it worth the experience.
uhm... this is the right example for "love it or hate it".
I pre-ordered it on Day 1 and unboxed it not too long ago. I personally liked it, it is unique and offered something different. Also, most people photography this IM figure under normal light, which is a mistake, it needs proper lighting to show the transparent effect.
who else thought that the suit was powered by the infinity gems?

Wowza - very ingenious tinkering there! Those final shots looked so freaking great. I’ve been trying to think of different ways to pose him on the shelf and where to put lights (behind him, underneath him?). And then here you go and load the sucker up from the inside haha! I appreciate the uniqueness of this toy, but it’s not a show stopper or must have. If anything, it’ll be a cool little piece that will make people go “oh that’s interesting”

Wow imagine a completely hologram 46/47/50 with white reactor lights all nicely balanced would look incredible, alxo a mk50 light up accessory set hologram exclusive set to match
Where to buy that LEDs?
Have you tried taking one of those 8-10 inch cylindrical flashlights which has a vertical LED panel running up half of it (for working on cars, etc etc) and with a magnetic bottom and placing it behind the figure to see of the LED light panel would wrap light around the edges of the figure and give it that glow you are looking for? Just an idea.
Was really interested in knowing your thoughts on this one , as with out budget stark your the only iron man Hot toys collector still making videos. So thanks a lot and keep going !

Cool suit, but Hot Toys should have done the additional LEDs. I did not like the sticker on the base, it was already untidy at the edges. Good thing you do not use it

Really NOT for me, I know the effect they're after but IMO it fails miserably . The illumination you personally added greatly adds to the effect but Hot Toys should have done this.

Can you try it under UV/black light please? I know from building Gundams etc.. that coloured clear parts often react really well and can glow brightly and evenly with just a UV torch so you won't have to worry about all the LEDs in some kits like the Gundam Unicorn, Gundam Banshee, Gundam Phenex and so on. Might work really well with this figure too, I have a stupidly large 1/6 IM collection since I started collecting and building 1/6 20 years ago and I'm thinking of adding this figure to it; if it glows under black light that would seal the deal for me. @@Danoby2 Does it work though? ;-) I remember you have the UV stands from the IM Neon Techs and Black Panther. I have an industrial one I use for my Custom Ghost Rider builds, I put reactive powder into the clear orange/red mix resin for all the flame parts when I cast them, including the skeleton Hell Rider horse I made and the Rider.

No, I spent days trying to turn it into something its not. Doesn't matter if I like it or not. Iron Man suits are mandatory for my collection.😉

Hot toys sucks, next Toy is going to be Iron Man wc, they only do spidermans and ironman, sucks, sucks, MC farlan and sideshow has more alternatives. .. hot toys always do ironman or spiderman. .dude ! U know! ..
