My take, the Queen, Andrew's mother gave him Sunningdale, which he sold. He lives at Windsor Lodge, he has a 75 year lease and as a crown property has to pay rent & contribute to its upkeep. He pays the rent and he pays towards its costs then he is within terms of his lease legally. Therefore that is the end of the subject. Depends on the terms of the lease. If the lease makes all repairs and maintenance Andrew's responsibility and he's not fulfilling the upkeep, he's broken the terms of the contract and can be evicted. It wouldn't look good for the King, but it's legally possible.

I do not think Andrew has paid the rent for the entire 75 year lease. He has also not made all the repairs. I don't think he got money from his mother's will. Last year he was mad that she left almost all of it to Charles to avoid heavy inheritance taxes being levied. I also think all Andrew has is his military pension as he is not a working royal so gets no crown funds. I do not think the York's will be able to afford the upkeep of this huge property which is part of the lease. I think Elizabeth supplemented Andrew's income from her personal funds after he was set down from being a working royal. Charles has cut these funds off.

I looked into this. Andrew has a lease to reside at Royal Lodge. However he lost a large part of his income since he is not a working royal. Now he can no longer afford to rent the property. Andrew is given the opportunity from Charles to rent Frogmore Cottage. It's a much cheaper property which would work with his 'limited' budget. Unfortunately, Andrew is too spoiled and entitled. He should be greatful to have a house and money. Particularly because he does not do anything. And by settling a lawsuit with Guiffre, he essentially admits by default that he is a child sex abuser.

Depends on the terms of the lease. If the lease makes all repairs and maintenance Andrew's responsibility and he's not fulfilling the upkeep, he's broken the terms of the contract and can be evicted. It wouldn't look good for the King, but it's legally possible.

I do not think Andrew has paid the rent for the entire 75 year lease. He has also not made all the repairs. I don't think he got money from his mother's will. Last year he was mad that she left almost all of it to Charles to avoid heavy inheritance taxes being levied. I also think all Andrew has is his military pension as he is not a working royal so gets no crown funds. I do not think the York's will be able to afford the upkeep of this huge property which is part of the lease. I think Elizabeth supplemented Andrew's income from her personal funds after he was set down from being a working royal. Charles has cut these funds off.
It is inevitable the York's will have to move. I think Charles is trying to help Andrew. Just think of the staff needed to run this establishment.

I looked into this. Andrew has a lease to reside at Royal Lodge. However he lost a large part of his income since he is not a working royal. Now he can no longer afford to rent the property. Andrew is given the opportunity from Charles to rent Frogmore Cottage. It's a much cheaper property which would work with his 'limited' budget. Unfortunately, Andrew is too spoiled and entitled. He should be greatful to have a house and money. Particularly because he does not do anything. And by settling a lawsuit with Guiffre, he essentially admits by default that he is a child sex abuser.
Oh for heavens sake. The King has already stated that Andrew can remain indefinitely.
The fact is Andrew has a 75 year lease from, I believe, 2003. Payment of 250pounds per week.

Prince Andrew will bring down the Monarchy I don't think King Charles III's mind is weak. Two so-called not Royals may know way too much.
I highly doubt Andrew would do anything to try to bring down the monarchy. He is loyal and proud of it. He might be alot of things but traitor isn't one of them.

I think it is imperative that King Charles' directive is followed. The King wants Andrew to move to Frogmore cottage, so he should move. You are right, the King's brother is still the son of beloved Queen Elizabeth and that must be honored too. Besides, Prince William needs a bigger house for his growing family.
Charles needs to be careful about slimming the family too much.
