- The final redemption spot from the lost footage fall in disaster.. Finally, I can shut up about it. Maybe. The big ol' Missouri River is a raging SOB, but.. It has one of the most diverse populations of fish species. I'm not sure the exact number of freshwater species that call this river home, but I'm sure it's a lot. Main feesh on the hit list is walleye, sauger, and saugeye.. but we ended up getting a larger variety of fish than we expected.

Still drilling holes in Canada. Made a cool walleye video yesterday with underwater footage. Keep those videos coming Josh. Sent from my frozen igloo in Central Alberta, Canada. 🎣
Enjoy the ice!
I only use floating jig heads for minnows or leaches. If I am going for a similar presentation with nightcrawlers I run a lindy rig. One of the best things about it is it keeps your hook off bottom so you don't snag as much. I run a lindy rig with nightcrawlers because you can get a whole night crawler on the three hooks.
I love it when I recognize where you are fishing at. Been over that bridge many times, its older than dirt and the grate deck that you can see through always freaked me out. Used to live in Freakmont
Where is this bridge located
You’d love to fish the Niagara. It’s loaded with monsters of all the species you could think of and the shore access is surprisingly good
Used to fish there my whole childhood, family is from right there. Never caught a walter there but didn't go for those then.
Another free stache ride.
Floating jigs are for jigging not just setting it keeps bait up just off bottom as you jig it back
More ‘stachscapades coming right up!!! Thanks for the entertainment!!!
Thanks for tuning in 💥
good day
Thanks for another journey!
Ive been watching your videos since the beginning and i just wanna say your one of the better youtubers ive found and always manage to make your videos entertaining. Keep up the great work man, your an inspiration
Wow! Nice catches. I may finally get a chance to go fishing this weekend. Keep bringing these videos.
Get out there Johnny man!
The GOAT of UA-cam fishing.
A small slow goat
Always a great day when I see Josh posted a new adventure. Makes my day, so I say thank you for all your great content you post
Now that is a fun Multi Species Day.
Couldn't catch 2 of anything lol
The floating jigheads are good because they keep the bait laying on the bottom. Even a minnow can’t keep it down!
I'm amazed at how many fish you catch in one spot. Great video. Keep em coming
Love 😢hat spot
Always a great evening when you post
Appreciate ya ❤
Gotta catch um all...let's go spring and happy fishing...yeeyee❤
Good luck out there.
@@PigPatrolTV 50 plus pound blues..just missed a good one today....prolly 60 plus but 30 to 50 pounds are average ..id love all your garbage fish for bait lol
Holy shhhht you cleaned up looked good with the stash
I always use like a 5-6 ft leader when I use the floating jig heads with an in line weight. Gives the jig head more room to drift with the current
Definitely I was looking for baby whale for weeks. Finally realized it's the smallest one
Nice mix bag.
Your right, that sauger was awesome looking
Super cool
Good fishing
I put leaches on a floating jig head sometimes. Works pretty well when they move around a lot
Josh,
So glad to see you again..
Way to catch a good number of fish I got skunked yesterday
@PigPatrolTV Well because of you i am taking the plunge and getting some blade baits to try out im just beginning to learn how to use lures but after watching you im willing to become a lure person Thank You. Stache Man!!!!
Well I for one am glad you got your ass off the couch! And at least in the in it was a grass and not a common, cheers
We use floating jig heads with slip sinkers for walleye
Probs just needed minners'
@@PigPatrolTV half a crawler or leeches work great when the water gets warm
Another awesome video bro 😎 keep slaying em stash man 🎣🎣🎣🎣
I usually do better in the evening right before dark. It never gets old catching those saugers. I caught a couple Pallid Sturgeon just north of there.
Full on Sauger!
Carolina rig with floating jig head drift fishing is my number one thing for walleye in oklahoma
Good video
Good ol decatur neb, 5 minutes from my home town. Great fishing spot, always pulled shovelnose out of there all the time.
I've been watching your channel for years. 1-3 anyway. Keep up the videos, bud. Has anyone ever used one of those bobber fish and depth finder? The ones on Amazon? I'm curious about them.
A floating jig keeps your bait off of the bottom and adds color to your presentation. 👍
Agreed, but do fish ever eat it? 😂
@PigPatrolTV I usually don't use floating jigs. I use line floats. Back in the day, they were made from cork, and we called them "corkies." I still call them that. They're very effective with leaches for walleye fishing. A glow in the dark float for night fishing works very well. This is from my 60 years of experience fishing in N. Minnesota. I enjoy your videos and always look forward to them! Thanks!
Rock leopard. I like that.
A fish is a fish. ❤
That's a pretty sauger no doubt
One of the better ones I've caught!
Thanks for the video Josh ! I got an inspiration that some day you might provoke some of your critics by cutting up a bass for catfish bait. The idea of you doing this gave me a good chuckle. I hope you will forgive me for mentioning this.
That first one was a Sauger, damn nice Sauger too!
🎉Fishing's everyman, frisky fan girl included.....
That was a big sauger ! Here in Manitoba a master in 18” but usually the pesky 10” ones always bite
carolina rig + floating jig has worked for me in ponds and lakes, not too much luck in rivers and creeks
I grew up fishing that same spot
Try slow dragging the floating jig/crawler for sauger. Catch em like that in Illinois
Oh, and I received my 6th Sense Whale swimbaits yesterday. I couldn't find the baby whales, but I got the 3.5" ones in yesterday and I can't wait to use them on the Ohia!
Always a good day when I get a notification that you uploaded. I’ve been watching you since days of fishing with Dad Milliken.
You need to get a boat josh.you can hit a lot more places
Thinking about some sort of John boat eventually. Not sure if I'd take it on the mighty mo though.
Thumbnail is bussin🔥
Google tried to translate bussin' to bus's
@@PigPatrolTV 😂 they just don’t get it
Hey, brother, whith that floating jig. Had you wanna set it up like a Carolina rig and They're much better to be used in a flowing river setting Letting it bounced down the river on its own with the flow of the river
That's how we use them for wall.Eye's down here in the maumme river in ohio hope that helps
Sometime fishing turns into hunting. Perfect Example. I'm very sneaky.
Hahahaha good video but the best was the last remark ( pico de gallo) 😂😂😂 dam that one made me and wife laugh. Hopefully you read this . Bro John from California
Love the videos! You made me want to chase flatheads!
108 and 113 the sky looks strange behind
Spent 😂alot of video listening. Cause the camera angle of the dangle was showing more of the dangle. LMAO but always great video
I think I’ve been following a lil while 🤘
Tomato tomatoe Pico de Gallo. Love it are you sure you don't have a Lil Latino in you. Lol great stuff.
Wear em out now!
The Josh Whale?
We said, holy shit at the same time crazy
Did any one notice the full sun dog happening? Nice fish
spechiezzzz x100000
❤️👊💪🎣
that is a good looking walleye or what ever it was
Sooo… can we EVER get a COLLAB video with Nick from 618 Fishing💪🏼🤷🏼♂️
You said you were uploading vids onto FB. Load the one where you and Boo were fishing the creek and you come across the dead deer and you asked “What could have done that?”
Was that even in a video? 😂
@@PigPatrolTV….. yes. Pretty sure you asked…What could of done that. I replied you should then insert the Werewolf howl from American Werewolf. It would be perfect! 🐺🐺
Video on a Wednesday! Just kidding you can drop a video whenever you wish!
Fishings been pretty tough, but been trying to get a video up mid week. Back to 3 a week again here soon I hope!
Thanks so much for responding to my comments. I don't comment often but you almost always reply. It is appreciated. Hope fishing picks up soon for more great content. I follow you, Ty's and Milliken among a few other channels when I can. I wish you continued success.
Nice catches Josh and yes that bridge sucks. I catch smallies like crazy there just none bigger than 2 pounds. I want to camp over night there sometime.
Did ya pass Blue Lake on way and if so is it really down?
You should fish with BJ & Sasha from 402 outdoors.
That was the coolest sauger I have ever seen
Me too man
Did anyone else see the circle around the sun and it’s reflection in the water
Cerp
Do you ever fish or chat with Milliken fishing anymore I loved them videos
6 species huh? Should we call that the Nebraska six pack?
I think we should
I think that first one might have been a sauger, what do you think?
Don't worry bro I'm still laying in bed LOL
Joshua...catch dem der Crappie boys! No drum buds, no redhorse suckers, no bottom feeding carpssesses, just game fish!
use baby carp and bullhead cats for bait
What line was you using
My uncle tried to take me fishing in his van. He always said he wanted to show me all the movement down by that river. He is in jail now.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha 😂.
Oh shoot. Sorry. My sense of humor 😮
Were you fishing the Missouri River? That was a super fat sauger btw.
What line do you use?
Baby Whale=The B Dub
Ummmmm sure, I can explain why floating jigheads are even a thing. Lmao. I grew up fishing in Central MN with cast and real technique or slip bobber and jig.....and THEN....dan dan daaaa...I moved to far northern MN and my husband taught me to " float a crawler". Crazy I thought.....but for some waters and some " speeeeci s "...Floating jig, ➕️ a wight about 12-18 " up from the jig to hold it to the bottom. OR if you don't have a floating jig head....a plain hook and a worm blower to float your crawler up from the weight works too. Seems to catch me some smallies, largies and trout without fail! But hey.....I say use what's workin....and those fishies decide that for sure.
Hey whats your discount code for 6th sense
Stache
Did you notice the big eye in the sky?? 👁
I know your 6th sense and flair is googan squad but can you 2 work together again your video that he fell thru the ice was classic. And your both in the Omaha area. Is that even possible?
Sucks it took that long for you to find your carp
I bet sometimes you feel like .😅 just standing there talking to yourself... cuz you find yourself standing there talking to yourself even when the camera's not on
Hey, the tug is the drug , grass crap, common crap treat the like bass. C P R
I use floaters and I catch more sucky bois I just give it 6-8in between me weight and duh jig
Tighten your drag
If you are going to keep a fish for bait, kill it!
Why just throw it into the rocks? Respect the nature of the game.✊
I'm watchin you boy..😂
Your release technique could use work too..
So true. I can never understand people that treat "baitfish" differently from more "desirable" fish. A fish is a fish and either respect them or don't. Every fish kill should be fast and clean - no excuses.
Hear me out..UA-cam tournament fishing League...have a whole @$$ idea
