"Hardest part is landing on a hot mat"
*shade is inches away*
You caught me off guard lmao
Hey now I can pretend to randomly die in the corridor
I just realized how cool Ronnie’s résumé would look.
you are so inspiring ronnie. Every day i train at about 6 pm and i look forward to it all day
Hmm, i see that... from your profile picture... that's good man keep going on
Hey Ronnie
So a few months ago, when I was in the woods with my family, just having a walk (I was practicing my parkour :P) until my mum saw a lump of dirt that mountain bikers used to bike jump off. She said something like, "jump off that!" So I did...
The landing was OK, but when I took the next step, because I still had so much momentum and I wasn't used to rolling instinctively (it was also pretty lumpy and rocky there so...), I sprained my ankle. I heard a *crack* and I then knew what had happened - My ankle almost SNAPPED.
Because we were walking in the woods up a hill, it would have been pretty hard to just carry me down, so instead, my mum sent my three younger siblings to ask our grandparents for help - in other words, to bring the *wheel barrow* . Mum and my older sister, Rebekah told me to put my arms over their shoulders and we would go down to the small road that led to our grandparents' house.
Eventually, we got there and so did the crew with the wheelbarrow. Rebekah and mum helped me in to the barrow and pushed me back to the house.
When we got back, they helped me into the house and seated me. I could *barely* even limp or hop.
Grandma and mum then took me to A&E, they checked my ankle there; did an x-ray, etc., and we went back home. Dad got back home by then, but my ankle still wasn't any better (duh...).
Anyways, the point is that I still don't trust my knees and ankles when it comes to landings, jumps, rolls and things like that.
I'm afraid I'm going to damage my legs and, even worse, *sprain* (if not worse..) my ankle again.
Can you give me some advice for strengthening my lower body?
By the way, I'm doing calisthenics, so I'm familiar to things like lunges etc.
I've watched your video when you had a sprained ankle (that was when mine was still hurt too! XD) and it was very inspiring.
This is ALL a *real* story
CONGRATULATIONS IF YOU READ THE WHOLE THING AND THANK YOU!!
Steltha RAD damn a *whole wheel barrow!?*
You are a strange vegetable
The fact that you have to renforce that it is a real story makes me start to question this story’s legitimacy

@@billysbasement4498 why do you jump from 10 ft if you can't take it? practice on lower heights first dummy. how do you think Ronny can give you tips? He already has the video on it what more can he say without seeing you do it. Theres plenty of videos on youtube for parkour rolls look one of those up. Ur just trying to get a reply

12:00 In judo, we assist the shoulder throw by grabbing the throwee by the collar. That way we're not just yanking their arm off.
Cool tutorial.👍

How can I get over the fear of flipping
I knew how to do this since I was 6 and now I'm falling down the stairs and stuff thanks
Question! So I've been practicing some simple falls (front, back, side) and am still feeling some of the impact in my neck and head. I'm not hitting either just feeling it there. Even from a kneeling position, and mostly with side falls. Am I doing something wrong? Or just something to get used to? Too much shoulder maybe? Help!
How did you get on in the end ?
@@DatrysiadMedia fixed the issue, probably just poor technique/lack of proper equipment.
@@thatactresswiththepiercing8202 nice, only have a mattress so using that, just have one scene I need it for, got the green screen set up but not nailing the fall
Very cool video! It gives great insight into the things I see in movies. Have you had the opportunity to put these skills to use in any stuntman jobs yet, or are you training for future possibilities?
I've had opportunities to do some of these stunts for jobs and I'm still training to do more!
Good thing i used to learn judo so i can do most of these falls
Btw ronnie could you do a wall climb up progression?
Are you a professional stunt man? Where do you work?
Narlyyy!! ( u awsome )
Hey we should get street boss shirts back.
That is that thing, that in reality, most times if someone is shot by a bullet, it will be in and out or in before you realize it, and it won't spin you.
They used to really play up the shot reactions, I remember one a cop doing a type of jig before he fell. In a movie.
Hey Ronnie I realized that you live in utah witch is cool cause so do I so I was wondering if you could tell me about some cool spots you know so I could try them out??
He lives in Georgia haha
Good, there was no mention about warming up before hand.
Would be helpful to demonstrate the fall before teaching it
0:44 LOL
סרטון טוב מאוד
Hey
post more video plsss
What kind of pads do you recommend?
I have the Xion stunt jacket it supports my back, shoulders, ribs, and chest. Then I have the Body Prox elbow and knee pads they work like a charm! I got the xion jacket from stonesports! But if you’re talking about a landing pad I just use like a regular workout mat! I know you were asking them but I figured I’d chip in haha
"I watch all your videos i'm training to do Parkour im almost a teen and me and my friend are training for parkour we live in a area in the woods and surrounded by water but who cares about that me and my friend are going high school next year were grade 8 now and where training like there's no tomorrow when where done we are gonna test our skills in the woods and do some on rocks " yea thats it and i love your videos

How do you land a side flip
You should make a video with Michael Ellis he would be great
999th like 😁
"Stun pads"
number 10 only works with mats
Rip Grant I think you might have done a video with him 9 years ago
ronnie does he have a kid cause a kid in my class that has the same lastname
I can't do a wall climb plz help
Awesome you guys are training this but from what I seen you guys do not smack the ground enough to “break fall” hard enough or roll out the kinetic energy properly. The header needs more work with hips up and wider spread in feet while smaking the ground, the say uchi or I think you guys called it “side flip fall” this is a very common fall for throws and wrist locks when you land you need to land on the side of the lay with the arm at 45 degrees snaking the ground the same side leg straight out to roll the kinetic energy and the opposite leg bent back behind the help cushion the fall. I suggest to start watching and studying how Judo artists break fall as they can attack the ground with good form and no injuries. After you learn judo falls then you can get creative with your falls but until then make sure you have judo falls down tight and move into more advanced stuff. Keep it up though guys 🙏🏼🙌🏼😊
Hay Ronnie are you okay
Read that title all kinds of wrong
Why do u have 1m subs but max 50000 views?
