- I challenged two of my friends who have NEVER seen JoJo's Bizarre Adventure to guess if these stands are REAL... or FAKE...

Since Willy didn't mention it, Hip 2 B^2 and the art for Racing Stripe and Black Plague come from the upcoming fanmade game Fate Is Unbreakable, which will let you replay the events of part 4 in rpg format and potentially alter the path that it takes, and is in turn the unoffical sequel to another already released game called The Seventh Stand User, which does the same thing for part 3. Each of them come for a choice of OC stand that the new main character will have. RS' original name is Motorhead and BP's is The Stand (no, really). Go check it or 7SU out, they're both great testaments to the dedication of the fandom!

I'd say that Part 4 stands in general are way more usable for everyday stuff tbh. Rohan's and Koichi's first acts are other examples

This was very good, but I think it had a major flaw in that all the fake stands were based around a principle of slowly getting harder to deal with.
From what I gather that was basically part 6 and what prompted the AU for part 7 and 8. Look at that weird Fung seui dragon thing.
I think the main issue is all the fake stands are based around how they effect a target. Real stands are just abilities. They can be used for fighting (and obviously are used for that most of the time in jojo) but they don't have to be. There's plenty of ways in the show stands are just used for cool utilities.
Also, all the fake stands had names related to their ability or looks, while the real ones didn't always have that.

I think one thing that makes the fake ones easy to pick out sometimes is that people tend to make them more convoluted than real stands actually are. Like some of them have specific rules and scenarios that have to be met, but fan made stands have a habit of doing it ad absurdum.

this is something that happens to any Fanfiction of any story: you end up creating unnecessarily complicated things where the author has very simple ideas in his head.

I don't believe in sentient stands
It doesn't make sense that a construct made from your own soul and willpower has its own consciousness separate from you.
Especially since the only stands that speak are Koichi's and Trish's both of whom are characters who had to go under immense amounts of growth to be able to use their abilities and become closer to their true selves.
@@chrishansen1842 Purple haze has it's own personality, it has fugo's anger issues but it's a stand that actively tries to clean itself when it gets dirty, and it whines/screams.
@@loganbelgin7650 that's still fugo though. Is my point. I'm personally of the belief that a stands "consciousness" is merely just your own subconscious looking back at you. That's why we see Act 3 when Koichi is arguably entering a Rebellious phase.

It’s interesting how you can tell if a stand is fake or not by listening to if the stand has the word “target” in its description fanmade stands are made from the perspective of fans who perceive jojo’s battles as stands specific abilities that do something terrible to a “target” rather than an ability that can be cleverly used to inflict damage depending on what the ability is. Ex the world’s ability is not to stop the flow of time on a target the ability is just to stop time which is useful for more than just beating people up fan perception of jojo battles actually influences how fanmade stands work another example is not that killer queens ability is not to touch a target and be able to detonate them like a bomb the ability is that anything she touches turns into a bomb which Kira can detonate these seem like nitpicks differences but it seems like the people who make these stand concepts are more interested in creating an ability that could trap or beat the protagonist instead of just making a cool stand ability there are exceptions but it honestly surprises me how easy it is to tell if a stand was fanmade or not when you can figure out the mentality of the people making them not to flame the creators or anything just food for thought

that is why my i made the main character stand really simple, the stand has snakes for arms, and the poison of the snakes makes the muscles grow but also makes the victim sweat uncontrolably to eventual dehidration, the user can use the stand on himself to become stronger but will need to drink water constantly until the effect wears off, or use it on the enemy, either way the stand is high risk

Black masquerade is a fan art from the original Roblox game, A Universal Time (AUT). The Stand itself is an unobtainable ability that is called DJ (correct me on this one because i don't remember that well) and was obtainable for 2-3 years before the huge update that was the New Universe update.

While I love this idea, I think you need to take a page out of TrueGreen7’s book & redraw the real stands in your artstyle so that none of the images look “sus”. Some of them just look like cropped images form the anime or manga whilst your original stands have a white back rough with no extra details leaking into the image like Joseph’s hands or stray background details.

I love how the newer stands have such ridiculous powers that it doesn’t matter how crazy the fake ones are, they all sound real or fake.
for contact At 3:35 the fake tuba stand is actually a real character called Tubatron from Power rangers Beast Morphers or in japan Tubaloid from super sentai go-busters. Tubaloid/Tubatron true ability is using his tuba horn to create sound waves to released a huge amount of knockback to his opponents.

It would be great if you has someone draw the fake stands in the style of Jojo with actual characters in a manga panel to make it even harder.

It is a pair of glasses that everybody can see. But, the user can alter probability as he pleases. Not too broken but it depends on the statistic you want to change. A coin which is 50/50? Now 30/70. Probability of you dieing because a gigantic piece of ice goes through your nose are low. Now it is 2%.

I’ve got a stand for you. Guns and roses. Guns’s ability is to punch with the strength and speed of a light machine gun, and can also punch so fast in multiple places, called his “shotgun punch”. Roses’s ability is being able to control vines that come from her body. These vines are also able to be shot out of her. Oh, and the stand’s radius is about 15 feet.

I had an OC Stand idea back in the day when I really started getting into Jojo's. It was called Safety Dance. It was a typical humanoid stand that was primarily white but with yellow and black caution tape patterns on it, and SAFETY and DANCE on its arms. It had the ability to make a bubble and whatever is inside the bubble cannot be healed and cannot be damaged; it is perfectly safe in whatever state it was in so long as the bubble is maintained. However, once the bubble pops, all the damage and healing accrued is inflicted instantaneously.
Another idea that I had was American Idiot. Similar body plan, but it was black or dark green and had a cavity in the chest with the classic heart grenade from Green Day's album art that the Stand gets its name from. The heart grenade is normally kept in place by jail bars in front of the cavity. However, the bars can open and it can launch the heart grenade like a cannon. When the heart grenade detonates, it induces fear and paranoia to whoever is within the range of its explosion.
Ok, my turn to make a stand.
Fourfold Ace
Appears as up to 4 humanoids, each with a card suit motif (clubs, spades, diamonds, hearts), 3 meter range usually. Special ability beyond simply being 4 instead of 1 is that if the user is able to defeat an opposing stand user in a game, any kind but usually cards, each body of FFA is able to use the other user’s Stand’s abilities for 15 minutes a day, including range, speed, strength, etc. The learned abilities can be amplified if FFA bodies fuse together, but it cuts the total time available down, all the way down to about 3 or 4 minutes total if they fuse into 1 body.

Ability:
Passive power to frandomly make someone’s luck horrendous or extreme when not manifested. This can be the user or anyone within a small range. It does whatever it wants and thinks will be most entertaining.
When manifested as six dice except for a game, a person can roll the dice so either their luck or someone else’s will change depending on the result. Low (1-12) equals worse luck, medium (13-24) equals regular luck, high (25-35) equals great luck. If you roll 36, your luck is so good nothing can possibly go wrong. The effect is canceled after a certain time or the dice are rerolled.
It’s not meant to be a good stand, it’s just meant to cause chaos.

I’ve had a stand idea for a while: Winged Hussars
They would be three winged knights who can operate most forms of transport and can use a multitude of weapons, including swords, spears, daggers, etc. Their wings would allow them to fly for short distances.

The Chapeltown Rag
A stand capable of covering an area of up to 20 meters, having gravity inverted and casually levitating into space. Everything within this area is completely without gravity, until the Stand touches it, causing its Gravity to return with full force. Making it collide with the ground without gravity. Negative gravities will not be able to remain at the same strength, causing a small break in reality, erasing the collided being at the same time.
So it's the same type of Stand as Jumpin' Jack Flash...

Is someone gonna explain to them that stands AREN'T characters or pokemon like creatures? They're just a ghost made of your soul/fighting spirit that have an ability and follow your commands. They are a part of you so you share senses, and whatever damage you receive they also receive vice versa.

Hip 2 Be^2 doesn't feel like a real stand, most stands that change stuff like that require contact via fist/hand (Gold Experience, The World: Over Heaven, Crazy Diamond), or contact via product of the stand (Kiss, The Matte Kudesai), if the stand can be 50m away from the user, but has to directly touch something to duplicate it, that would make more sense
