Really nice! I'm a bassist, not a drummer, but it's really interesting to see Aron's licks broken down and analyzed like this. Thank you.

Thanks for the breakdown. I’m not a drummer or a bassist, and this stuff blows my mind 💥

This is the perfect video. I've always wanted to learn all of these licks so it's amazing that they are in the same vid. Definitely subbed!

Nice break down on the pattern, but it's anything but simple. Practice, practice, practice.😮

Excellent lesson! Love how even your hands and feet are together. What do you suggest to work on that?

What drum kit are you mainly using for your videos? I recently purchased a beginner set from Roland their TD-02 series. Hoping to improve over the next year. Great videos!

Hey man! I’m just recording out the stereo outputs, directly into my focusrite clarrett 8 PRE USB interface. I use Logic Pro X as my DAW.

Most of these youtube drummers spend so much time learning other peoples parts that they lose that ability to sound like themselves...like music is some kind of contest.
Theres more to music than nailing something that someone else already created.

Hey man! Thanks so much for watching my video. I really appreciate it! You are totally right that it’s very possible to always “copy” other drummers and not take time to express yourself and experiment. As a teacher, I’m constantly learning new songs, new drummers, identifying the patterns & concepts and then teaching them to my students. Basically, this is how I like to learn! I certainly do my fair share of jamming and playing though. I need to post a full drum performance soon, so that it’s not just all lessons.
