Hey Chance, I have a suggestion. I've been watching your channel for a couple of years now and aside from the opening all of the cabinents in the early days there is one other area that could be improved. (This is just my opinion.) At the end of the videos you take a long time with what I would refer to as "disclaimer". Its where you talk about "County regulations, local regulations, freight charges and on and on. So here's the idea. Do what everyone else does and put it on the screen in small written text and simply say, "above is a ballpark price, your exact cost can be different based on several factors some of which are in the text below, please read at your convenience". You can also make all your other disclaimers in text as well, "Im not a sales man etc etc"
Yes! Great idea! I oftentimes scroll right past the verbal disclaimer. It always sounds painful in his voice when saying the disclaimer. Wow, I love everything about this. Doesn’t have a ton of built-ins, spacious kitchen, massive pantry, good size rooms, nice closets, true walk in shower and that retreat. That laundry room was pretty massive, too. This one checked ALL the boxes. ❤️
I don’t like walking in a front door only to be dumped directly into a living space, so a foyer is a must for me, but the retreat somewhat ruins this one. It feels like a dark hallway. The second effect is that it makes for an awkward great room, which is made worse by the entry to the dining room, the fireplace, and the master bedroom entry. It just feels like a small, difficult main living space, especially for a home this size. I would have to rework the retreat so that the foyer was functional and welcoming, to hopefully help out the flow of the great room, and provide somewhere to put my Christmas tree. I really appreciate you and the thought you put into your tours. I have visited several tour channels, and I can honestly say that yours is the most pleasant and enjoyable. I love that with your content I don’t have to fast-forward through rambling and a slooow pace while simultaneously being frustrated about what wasn’t shown or addressed; you don’t keep waving your hands around in front of the camera, pointing at everything. Not only do I not have to mute you to watch the video at all, I actually enjoy your commentary because it’s applicable and informative; you’re personable, relatable, and pleasant to listen to. Thank you for the effort you put in, and the pride you take in what you do. My best to you and yours.
@Tanya…..I generally feel the same…..the retreat took too much of the entryway. It feels like you’re walking into a tunnel to get into the house. And I do so like having a nice entryway table close by the door….but this one would have to be nearer the living room. And there basically is no real dining room….it’s more like a kitchenette….if that. I do like the size of the pantry! And hallelujah! There’s actually room in this one for a large chest freezer in the laundry room for a change! The retreat is nice….I would use it for a sewing room/office…..but it does screw up the entryway too much. I would have to put in a ‘stretch’, to widen the entry area and dining room area. Oh, and a note to these companies that make these floor plans and design the fixtures, etc. I really hate those style of showers that are in the master bath…..I very much dislike the glass ‘window’, and the issue with providing a door or shower curtain closure, to keep the draft of cold air out. I haven’t seen many shower designs that I like at all in these newer homes.
This is a HUGE home! Lots of options with this one. I’d move my Mama in and give her the master. She would make the sitting room area her library/study. Later down the road, I would make the sitting room area my music room area. Lots of wall space for hanging my guitars. That Pantry?!?! WOW!!!
This home is like The Tardis. Huge on the inside. I love the hall way separating the living area from the front door. The archways allow the rooms to be open plan yet cleverly keeping each area sectioned. Making it feel more roomy. I love the master bedroom, that little extra room has so many possibilities. I could keep going. I just love it so much. Thanks for another amazing video Chance.
Hey Chance! I really like the floor plan of this one. Love the pantry! Aside from going with a hardwood floor instead of carpet (we live on a farm) I wouldn't change much of anything else. My wife really wants a sink in the laundry room and this one is great. We love your channel. Thanks!
Pantry dance at 7:07, lol. Floor plan at 2:28. Nice amount of bathrooms. Super laundry, kitchen and pantry. Generous master suite. Tons of storage. Would compromise with this. Would have the fireplace added onto, onsite. Its intruding into the living area interferes with light and flow. This would be perfect with attic access... For those that like being able to refer back easily to the floorplan, I use the timestamp. I hate trying to fuss with going back and forth and this way I only have to remember where I where i left off at. I know you hate that I put time stamps up, Chance. But it removes a lot of frustration in analyzing the overall floorplan. Also gives a better sense of orientation...
The 3rd full bath near a bedroom is ideal for guests that stay over. They don't have to worry about having to use the family bathrooms. As far as that extra room in the master, I'd turn it into a relax room. Throw in some beanbsgs, blankets and a bookshelf. It would be a great getaway room for sure! Great home, wonderful pantry and entertaining tour!!
OMG that pantry! 😍 The rest of the place is nice too, but I'm in love with that pantry. We like to shop in bulk and we also do canning, so have a nice big pantry is a definite win.

Yes, this is a nice one even though my husband & I don't need that many bedrooms. The space in the master bedroom would be perfect for our 4 dogs bedroom with miniature couches & big couches for their beds! That way we could have OUR bed back, lol! 🤣

I have a Kabco, not this model but still a 32 x 80. They are well built homes with many options and the company reps took great care of me even after delivery and setup. The dealership I bought the home from didn't even follow up as well as Kabco did. I highly recommend them.
Chance thanks for the double-wide. Beautiful has everything. I would definitely redesign the master bath. Remove the tub, put the toilet there- expand the closet in the toilet space - add in wall slider door to keep humidity out of closet, & put a nice size cabinet area at the sink next to the tub. The pantry is absolutely great! Living room is on the small side though. I would use that smaller room in the master bedroom as a small living room for myself for TV watching away from everybody else in the house. Nice large kitchen also. I really enjoy your tours of these homes! 😄
I love everything else. Plenty of storage, pretty colors. I’ve inherited a lot of family photo albums. I see room to store them on shelves instead of in boxes.
Hi Chance, I hope you & your family are doing well. We’re in Louisiana & the weather has been nice, but with things blooming; the pollen has been really bad on the sinuses! This is a nice home, love the pantry, utiltee room ( especially with a deep sink)! The room off of the main bedroom used to be called the parents retreat. The bathroom & closet are very nice. This isn’t my favorite, but still nice. So Cullen wants his own channel!! That’s really precious. I would definitely put safeguards on it, if that’s possible. Nowadays, you have to be so careful!! We love this home. We would close off the retreat from the master bedroom, make it into a library with French door coming in from the entry. Now just need to find it closer to home.

I really like this one. It's great that it steps away from an open concept floor plan. Bravo that I don't see the kitchen sink from either the front door or the living room. The kitchen has a great layout, with a very workable work triangle with sink, fridge, and stove all close together. Great pantry, and I love the little retreat. I'd make it a library. Overall a really great design.
Lots of positive things to say about this one. The pantry and the utility room are huge. The master suite with the retreat and nice bathroom, with good sized closet. Seems like a lot of house for the price.
FINALLY someone got the pantry and laundry room right!!! Great home though I would decrease the retreat room to widen the entryway and add a closet then turn the retreat into another master closet so there’s his and hers. I would also remove the master tub and add a bench in the shower with adjustable hardware. Otherwise this is a great double wide in my dreams . Thanks for sharing ❣️🍾🎊🎉
Hey Chance! Wow what a house! Love the fireplace, Love the pantry, Love the utility room. I would change just a little in that room. My dogs are too big to fit in a sink, even a big one. So I'd take out some of the counter space and put in a doggy shower! I think there is room for an upright freezer in there as well. No coat closet, but I guess I could do without one. There is No bench seat in the Master Bathroom shower. Would have to have one if we kept the shower, and I don't think there was a door on it either and we'd want one. And of course, I'd put a handicapped tub in there too. Like the Master closet. But we have No use for a Retreat in the Master Bedroom! We have no children, so no grandkids either. We would have to close it off from bedroom, soundproof it, put the door off the foyer, and turn it into a Library Music Room, or something like that. It would actually be wasted space otherwise. Unless we used it as a storage room! But...I think there are more things on this house I like or love than there are things I don't. That's a big plus! Good job on the video Chance. And I bet Cullen would be great on his own show! Way to go Cullen! And good on you and your wife for encouraging him, Chance! God bless y'all.
THANK YOU for the reminder! (even though you didn't know 😊) Instead of the soaking Tub we would need to order a Walk ln Tub. I can get in/out of a regular Tub but it's so hard since a TKR & my Knee has limited movement) 😒😟
@@sheilasmith930 you're welcome - even though I didn't know! I can't get in nor out of a regular tub and haven't been able to for 15 years. My knee and most of femur had to be replaced with metal and I have super bad arthritis in the other knee. Can't bend my knees at all and also have trouble with my back - had a car accident. I'm also pretty fat which does Not help anything! I just told my husband that I can't take a shower again without him being there to help me, until we get a shower seat, because I can no longer stand long enough to shower, let alone dry off! The shower has a very small seat in it but I nearly fell sitting down on it and getting back up, and thought I was going to have to yell for my husband to come help me get up when I finally made it, hurting both knees in the process! We rent our house so we can't put a handicapped tub in and our landlord isn't willing to pay for one. He did take the tub/shower out and replace it with just a shower for me 15 years ago, when I got to where I couldn't use the tub at all. He is mostly a pretty good landlord! So...I watch home shows and dream of my dream house! I'd have to win a lottery to get said dream house though, another impossible dream! Sigh!!
This is a great home. Love the pantry and utility room space. I would make some changes to the master suite and foyer. Take some footage off the extra room to make the foyer wider and have a coat closet. Chance, you do a great job touring these homes!
WOW. I would turn the 'retreat' into a study, opened from the foyer. Sliding glass doors at dining room area and pocket door from the last bedroom to that bathroom for me. Perfect floor plan. Vents in the ceiling, YES! Hurray for this architect. Good tour Chance. I LOVE this one.
What?!! Wow! A place for food (thinking Wisconsin snowed in), but also the vacuum, Christmas tree, etc. Now that is a pantry. This is one of the best family layouts. The retreat is also nice. I want to see this same floorplan in a triple wide. I'm thinking a closet, 1/2 bath, and entertainment room.
Love this home😍! The only thing I would change is the front door. I would put a door with either the oval glass or the glass squares to bring in more natural light so the foyer doesn't seem dark. Other than that it's a beautiful home❣️
Love the separation of the living room and kitchen. The pantry and laundry room are fantastic. I would lose the carpet and change the color scheme. Overall a very nice home 😊
This is a nice home. I liked the entrance way being a little more isolated from the living room so people sitting in the living room may not get a blast of cold air on them when someone enters the home. The pantry could be easily rearranged a bit to accommodate a medium sized upright freezer. I would change the entrance to the closet, using a pocket door, so you could get into it from the master bedroom without having to go into the bathroom to get to it.
They maximized every square inch of the pantry with the shelves. I would put my treadmill in the retreat. The hood would look better black, white, or the glass one next to the white cabinets. 😍
Wow Chance this one ticked like 95% of my boxes. Love the Floorplan. The Retreat well as an empty nester it would be great for uhemm private business, hide your eyes Chance lol. The bath in the middle of 2 identical beds could be a taco or hot dog setup lol.
We have a Cavco! We have it set up on our property, behind our custom built home. Our daughter and grandchildren live in it. It's a nice little two bath, two bedroom home.
My wife and I went to Clayton Homes in Tyler, Texas last weekend and my wife mentioned that I watch your videos and have seen many of them at Clayton Homes. The guy commented he's heard a lot of people mention you that have come through and said they might have to get you a gift basket for all the business you've sent their way. So I'd take out some of the counter space and put in a doggy shower! I think there is room for an upright freezer in there as well. No coat closet, but I guess I could do without one. There is No bench seat in the Master Bathroom shower. Would have to have one if we kept the shower, and I don't think there was a door on it either and we'd want one. And of course, I'd put a handicapped tub in there too. Like the Master closet. But we have No use for a Retreat in the Master Bedroom! We have no children, so no grandkids either. We would have to close it off from bedroom, soundproof it, put the door off the foyer, and turn it into a Library Music Room, or something like that. It would actually be wasted space otherwise. Unless we used it as a storage room! But...I think there are more things on this house I like or love than there are things I don't. That's a big plus! Good job on the video Chance. And I bet Cullen would be great on his own show! Way to go Cullen! And good on you and your wife for encouraging him, Chance! God bless y'all.

Instead of the soaking Tub we would need to order a Walk ln Tub.
I can get in/out of a regular Tub but it's so hard since a TKR & my Knee has limited movement) 😒😟
@@sheilasmith930 you're welcome - even though I didn't know! I can't get in nor out of a regular tub and haven't been able to for 15 years. My knee and most of femur had to be replaced with metal and I have super bad arthritis in the other knee. Can't bend my knees at all and also have trouble with my back - had a car accident. I'm also pretty fat which does Not help anything! I just told my husband that I can't take a shower again without him being there to help me, until we get a shower seat, because I can no longer stand long enough to shower, let alone dry off! The shower has a very small seat in it but I nearly fell sitting down on it and getting back up, and thought I was going to have to yell for my husband to come help me get up when I finally made it, hurting both knees in the process! We rent our house so we can't put a handicapped tub in and our landlord isn't willing to pay for one. He did take the tub/shower out and replace it with just a shower for me 15 years ago, when I got to where I couldn't use the tub at all. He is mostly a pretty good landlord! So...I watch home shows and dream of my dream house! I'd have to win a lottery to get said dream house though, another impossible dream! Sigh!!

This is a great home. Love the pantry and utility room space. I would make some changes to the master suite and foyer. Take some footage off the extra room to make the foyer wider and have a coat closet.

WOW. I would turn the 'retreat' into a study, opened from the foyer. Sliding glass doors at dining room area and pocket door from the last bedroom to that bathroom for me. Perfect floor plan. Vents in the ceiling, YES! Hurray for this architect. Good tour Chance. I LOVE this one.
Love this one Chance! It has room for all of my kids, and I think I'd make the retreat my office.
The retreat is a good spot for a tv and my husband where he could junk it up all he wants.
What?!! Wow! A place for food (thinking Wisconsin snowed in), but also the vacuum, Christmas tree, etc. Now that is a pantry. This is one of the best family layouts. The retreat is also nice. I want to see this same floorplan in a triple wide. I'm thinking a closet, 1/2 bath, and entertainment room.
Wow! This is huge, plenty of storage too. I think the price is reasonable for such a large home. I love it!
Love this home😍! The only thing I would change is the front door. I would put a door with either the oval glass or the glass squares to bring in more natural light so the foyer doesn't seem dark. Other than that it's a beautiful home❣️

Love the separation of the living room and kitchen. The pantry and laundry room are fantastic. I would lose the carpet and change the color scheme. Overall a very nice home 😊
This is a nice home. I liked the entrance way being a little more isolated from the living room so people sitting in the living room may not get a blast of cold air on them when someone enters the home. The pantry could be easily rearranged a bit to accommodate a medium sized upright freezer. I would change the entrance to the closet, using a pocket door, so you could get into it from the master bedroom without having to go into the bathroom to get to it.
If you're a great cook or chef this is the ideal pantry to store all your favorite food items including your favorite gadgets.

We have a Cavco! We have it set up on our property, behind our custom built home. Our daughter and grandchildren live in it. It's a nice little two bath, two bedroom home.
