It would be helpful to include the torque values for the bolts that you replaced. The strut pinch bolt and the axle bolt especially are stretch bolts that should always be replaced and need to be torqued plus an additional angle applied. Did someone work on that car before you because it looked like the old spring was shorter than hhe new one.
according to your experience, do you recommand to change the spring also ? I mean, with the age and miles, does it get shorter anytime ? I speak for every car
Yes. For my cars in special I always replace most of the parts when I'm working. The springs it's a must with the shock absorber. For example if you only replace the shock and let the spring in the nearest future the spring can break and you have to work again there you have to pay the labor 2 x times then normal. And so on.
Excellent!!! great video!! Pls share the link of where to buy the spring clamp. They're so convenient
I don't have any link. You should search it on auto parts tools.

I'll put the torque specs soon, the springs are shorter because they are worn out from so many miles and stress force.
Great vid, will help guide me on my mk5 jetta
Glad to hear it!🙏✌️
Very good video. Spring compressor quite expensive.
It sure is, thank you for supporting me and my channell 🙏

@@HOWTODO0828 it did not think about that possibility. I’ll change it now for my next cars.
🙏Good luck sir
Yup what he said. I have 2-vws and the front springs on both broke around 70k miles; at different times though.
Change playback speed to 0.75x for typical English wpm (words per minute)
😎
Why do you need to take the lower ball joint and cv out
It's easyer to do it in this way because you have to push down the entire assembly to be able to pull the shock absorber out.
🎉 good
Thanks
Can you create similar videos for VW CC 2012?
