My grandmother would had done the same...just grabbed the baby said to the parents follow me and assigned tasks to the parents like hearing water getting supplies etc
GRAMDMA WAS A FANTASTIC PERSON. SHE HAD AN OUTSTANDING CAREER, BEFORE SHE GOT THE PART AS GRANDMA. I REMEMBER HER PLAYING A FEW TIMES ON LARAMIE THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW AND OLD WESTERNS AND WITH ROBERT CULP. A TRULY MEMORABLE ACTRESS. ELLEN CORBY WAS THE BEST.
"Gregory Sierra has played characters of Puerto Rican, Mexican, Spanish, Greek, Italian, Armenian, South American, and other Latin & European descents he could play them all and still does."-🤔. 🌐⛪🌐.
I thought he looked familiar! Didn't he play the lieutenant during the first season of Miami Vice? That's what I think I remember him from, he's a terrific actor.
Nothing like the love and care of an old fashioned Grandma.
Such an amazing show with so many great themes and stories. Made you proud to be an American.
The baby's smile at 4:31 was the cutest thing in the episode
We all have to remember that this show took place not long after the deadly 1918 influenza pandemic. Influenza was an incredibly scary diagnosis.
This was a terrific episode, Grandma Walton had had enough and was determined to save that child's life, I just loved Grandma and Grandpa Walton.
I always got the feeling grandma could take on the devil himself....And Win.....
No contest!
The Devil would not stand a chance against Grandma.
I can't see anyone else playing grandma Walton she was the best
Clearly this shows how kind and respectful the grandma was. Man I wish she was my grandma.
'Now you mumbo jumbo all you like but I'm gonna tend to this baby!' Go Grandma!
Grandma was all about helping folks out. She didn't care where they came from,....especially the babies.
My grandmother would had done the same...just grabbed the baby said to the parents follow me and assigned tasks to the parents like hearing water getting supplies etc
Grandma was the kind, loving grandma to everyone!
My mom would have done what gramma did

The Addams family lurches mom.
I think she was a regular or semi-regular on "Have Gun Will Travel" (or one of the other Westerns of that era).
The Western with Robert Culp was called "Trackdown" and dealt with the Texas Rangers.
and It's a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart
Amo está série maravilhosa
The actress who played the gypsy grandmother will always be remembered as TauPao Vulcan Matriarch on Star Trek.
And the actor who played the gypsy father will always be remembered as Julio the Puerto Rican neighbor on Sanford and Son.
I love them so much.
This was one of my most favorite episodes
This just shows you their grandmothers always know what to do and I sure miss mine
You're not alone. Mine has been gone 23 years now and not a day goes by where I don't think of her and miss her.

He did Jewish on an episode of "All In The Family."
He also played Julio the neighbor with the goat on Sanford and Son.
Now he's playing dead! 😢
Grandma saved the baby.
Grandma Walton saves the baby. But they're old woman didn't do a thing except get roots didn't help her daughter's child.
@@candacecassidy4071 should have got herbs. That’s how Grandma treated the baby. Menthol comes from the herb mint.
@@isaackellogg3493 True. Grandma wasn't above a little 'mumbo jumbo' medicine herself! 😂
Classic Esther Walton!
She reminds me of my grandmother
Mine too!
When not feeling well you could just do with her care for you and find it nurturing
Bulgaria is near the Baltic sea so they are most likely of greek or italian descent.
Or Bulgarian

Black Sea. Baltic Sea is by Scandinavia.
Grandma saved the baby's life!
"She'll kill it." I remember that line from the original airing to this day. What a strange way to refer to the baby.
Yes; I saw the original airing as well when I was a boy.
Grandma sure did
The guy talking about his dog. Didn't go on play on Sanford and son ? Thanks. Sure looks like him.
Yes .he was julio
Oh yea....Julio the Puerto Rican with the goat who drove Fred G Sanford nuts! LOL
Leave it to Grandma to take on TPau.
