Whatever community this is, you are damn lucky to have waste haulers that still do this. I have to make special arrangements and pay extra to have this done. For what my tax dollars pay for vs. service, is appalling. I may consider moving.
This is a dump day, you can tell everyone has out large items. Depends on the location, here they will pick up large loads like that every week. Outside of "construction" waste stuff that they think was done by a contractor. Other places have 1 day out of the month, or as little as 1-2 times a year.
@@rayray8687 Can't do it in my city, either, which I discovered when I put the wooden remains of an old garden bench on the street and it sat there for 3 weeks. I called the city about it and they said it was probably because it looked like building materials and they don't take that "ever". Then she told me to just put it in the garbage can and they'll take it. I got a good chuckle out of that one.
I used to drive for this company in East Hanover NJ many years ago I did the cardboard recycling route one Saturday it was raining I had maybe 20 stops all bailed cardboard got all the stops in one shot usually took two loads because the cardboard was wet packed easier my truck was a 1978 Mack DM 686 31 yard leach rear load this were the best bodies they packed like hell at the recycling center in Jersey City I come off the scale I had 16 tons of cardboard I pushed it out in one large box came out the scale house took pics of it was up on the wall for years The Good Ole Days
Our waste management only collects what is in our trash cans. Anything like this would be collected only if you paid an additional collection fee and the owners would have to be on site when collected. If not, you have to haul it to the dump yourself.
