This game will always remain as my favourite multiplayer game. I started playing it like a year ago, and in such a short time, it already won that title, and it's well deserved. No game has ever made me say when I'm at school, or in the streets, "I can't wait to play it". The community, the gameplay, the silly moments, the lore, everything is fabulous about this game. Maybe torn banner isn't the best dev team ever, but I still need to thank them for making such a memorable game. Thank you torn banner, for giving us an amazing game, and even amazing friends thanks to your game, hopefully Chivalry 3 is even better!
It’s definitely one of my top games too! Funny thing is that it sat in my library for a very long time. Played it once, dropped it for a year, then I came back and enjoyed it so much. Never would I have thought I would make 200+ videos on it. Agreed TB may not be the best dev team but the game they made is super memorable.
Funny thing was I found a dumb fix. I downloaded Vanguard anti-cheat and it did something and now Easy anti-cheat works so I can play again. Hopped on during lunch today and went 27-4 in 15 minutes so I still got it but in terms of the future of this channel I cannot be a sole Chivalry or Medieval genre gamer. I don't mind doing a stream here or there but yeah I've planned to diversify the content.

Everyone keeps talking about the game as if its dead since the full release. But servers were full coming in at 2am PST and i only started playing because i saw the new update specifically say it was completed! Theres gotta be many like me that see a final update and thinking "now that its a full game i should try it out!" Its super fun but i kindly ask that everyone thats played for years to stop preemptively talking about the game as if its dead. As there is literally no better way to force a dead community than convincing new people coming in that its not worth coming by saying its already dead
You make some good points and perhaps I should have framed the video a bit differently. However, let’s be real. When a live service game ceases providing new content updates, there is nothing new to keep players coming back. That’s just the reality. The game is not dead but it certainly won’t be growing. There are exceptions out there Im sure but I don’t think Chivalry 2 is one of them. I love Chivalry 2 but as a content creator there’s only so much content you can squeeze from a stone.
It’s hard to say but I’ll check it out. I do like zombie games so we’ll see if it’s good before committing a lot of time into it. Around a similar time Space Marine 2 drops and Im a big Warhammer fan so there’s a chance that takes my attention.
