- Even the masterpiece that was season 1 of Arifureta wasn't perfect. So here I am to talk about some of the more essential story elements cut from season 1.

See more. There is plenty to go over. The anime seriously dropped the ball on season 1 and there is so much more to this story that will be important later on. If they show it in the anime season 2.

as a manga reader, I can tell you if she doesn't focus, she would look like hulk but with Shea's head due to her magic enhancing her strength, and she needs to use another spell to hide how she actually would, or in my mind, SHOULD look like
Out of all the girls in hajimes harem, Shea has the most depth in her story and character development. The part where in yues diary depicts her determination and perseverence despite her circumstances really hits hard for me. Also the romance with her and hajime is greatly fleshed out.
Even after the main story has finished she had so many adventures with hajime you would think she is the authors favorite among the girls.
She does seem to get the most paragraph time outside of the side stories doesn't she.
@@HighmageDerin she at least have 2 arcs in the the after story(summoned hero arc,hell arc) that i could think of which spans in a couple of chapters or more.
she also has more dialogue than other girls aside from yue and myuu( her signature desu). and many yandere followers (princess,spirit,elf) or suitors.

Shea fell in love with both Hajime and Yue and they fell in love with her, it wasn't simply the shtick of harem hero gets harem because he is harem hero. You could argue that the majority of the side content was a love story between these three while the rest of the girls are trying to catch up.
A beautiful light novel series honestly. My first exposure to LN's actually. Bought the first three volumes and loved every page
SAME!!! I had watched season 1, and it was cool, if horrible CG and felt too fast pace, it was the comments section of the episodes that pleaded for people to read the novels, SO, I did, went down to my barns and Nobel, found the first 4 books, Bought volume one.............. and Ended up reading the whole thing in ONE night, lost track of time. it was 3 am when I finished and it shocked me. I went back the next day and bought all the rest B&N had. got all the rest off amazon! what an amazing series!

@@BakuganMinion atleast season 2 is both Slowing down to cover the events from the novels a LOT more closely then season one did, AND did something about the joke bad beast wars era CGI. ITs still bad, but not near the level season one was! Episode 3 and 4 was nearly spot on with what happened, Even when Tio used Hajime's CrossBits to get away. Though In episode 1 Kaori compairs them to the weapons from Gundam that remote fire separate from the mech

This is a pretty cool way about learning about shea and her motivations as to why she joined the party
After watching anime I turned to manga for more details and I was hella surprised how much they left out in adaptation. So if you're saying that 2nd season follows material better, focusing on the first season stuff is better for people who want to know about... well, everything that wasn't shown in anime.

The anime basically caught up to the manga in season 2. I bet they regretted having blasted through season 1.

Hajime was stuck in the Labyrinth for a lot longer than the Anime would lead you to believe & he came out a lot more Ruthless. & Shea's storyline took nearly a whole book to complete. So Season 1 left so much out it's almost insulting if you've read the manga.
So it skipped a lot can i know where you found it novel or manga? And it used about 1 volume right?

I really enjoy watching these types of videos because not only are they well made, but they also grant me a deeper insight into a character's true nature that I may not have come across otherwise. These video are making my viewing experience of season 2 that much more enjoyable. :D

Just wanna say thanks for doing cut contents and allowing us to watch cause holy hell the amount of content/context/new&more insight to all of these anime’s I’m watching/finished just adds to the lore and story which honestly just would rather read but don’t have time to sit and read so watching anime helps to understand and enjoy these shows/LN even more

This story wasn’t groundbreaking, but it still had some good stuff in it and for anime only viewers it’s pretty much overshadowed by the cheap presentation and pacing
Arifureta season 1 is my favorite worst op with a good song. Sums up the show great

It's so sad, i loved the way they showed Hajime losing his fucking mind in the hole in the manga, only showing him awaken without telling how much time has passed. The anime just gutted it. I also had in mind his voice being higher pitched before the monster meat transformations and getting alot more gruff afterward.

this is coming from vol 2 the longest vol of arifureta to read and this is very shortest in anime of only 2 episodes (6 and 7)
After reading the light novel, I started to understand why they cut out what they did. The only thing is that they could of easily turned this from 13 episodes to 24 if they included the missing parts and fleshed out the world a bit more.

I really appreciate that you are continuing the cut content for Arifureta, I feel like a lot of people write it off but it's a genuinely interesting story with great characters/world and a protagonist that (at least in my opinion) feels a little more complex regarding their principles when interacting with the world. I hope you'll keep making videos on Arifureta in the future!

I generally binge anime shows when the season's over, so having some cut content that's not spoilerific to the currently running (2nd) season is a nice breath of fresh air.
This just confirmed my feeling for Shea I liked her from the beginning not just bc she is silly and playful, but bc she is still cheerful after everything in her past. Shes definitely on of the positive sides in the group.

Reading the LN's right now is such a trippy thing because I've been sitting here thinking that the whole Beastmen City and the Bearmen was weird, half-there as if it did happen because I remember the training but nothing else.

I will say, the development of connections between the party is pretty important to the overall story, for me. I think the anime will have to overlook most of the reasons why Shea, and even Tio, get recognized by Yue, and thus, Hajime. Shea in the anime is funny and strong, but I could see viewers not understanding her worth. That could be confusing by a season 3, should that miracle come about.
I mean, even Yue gets a good ol "he saved her, so they are lovers" troupe. Yue's past would be a kick to see people react to. F'd up shite, right there.

I know that good, longer, quality content takes and indescribable amount of work and ambition, but I just enjoy your videos so so very much, and Arifureta is uber-special to me. When you had like 2 videos during season 1, I understood that the anime world was cursed to go in without your clear insight and witty presentation of an isekai cult classic.
Now that you have started Arifureta content again, I am chomping hard at the bit to hear the story's detail from your own voice and views. Plus, there is so much for you to work with, I love the idea of your channel growing.
Btw, I saw an article saying that Arifureta volume 12 was the #1 seller in some market in Japan. Volume 13 is supposedly the last volume of the main story.

Thanks for the video. Love the content. One thing missing from Shea is her is that when Hajime and Yue are having their moments together both flirting and bedroom moments Shea is the most vocal against it cause she wants Hajime the same way Yue does. Even when the other ladies are included Shea is the one that is against Hajime and Yue's alone time and being left out of it. The relationship between Shea and Yue not mention in the anime is that the bond grows stronger and Yue wants Hajime to develop feelings for Shea and to in include her but Hajime can't see himself doing that Shea's story from the first Two seasons that was left out of the anime.

This is usually my main gripe and a large reason why I prefer the ln. If the wrong studio picks up a series, a lot of content will either removed or changed to fit the audience. As someone who likes seeing the full picture and context, as well as the character's thoughts, all the cut content makes me disappointed.

The manga/novel's take on this part of the story being missed out was a major hit to the anime IMO. From the not-so subtle display of brutality from Hajime to the military checkpoint to the introduction of the other beast races and their reaction to the new strong af rabbit men.
I love that your doing these again, BUT................
HOW CAN YOU SAY THE HALIA's WAR WITH THE BEARMEN IS NOT IMPORTANT??!! ITS HELA IMPORTANT! espically during the events of Volume 6! In short, the Halia, known for being timid creatures who can only Hide are scene as an easy target. And try to murder them all just after Hajime gives them the Sargent Hartman Training treatment. They come storming into........... their own deaths. The Rabit men slaughter the bearmen, using their skills of hiding and hearing to become the Perfect Ninjas. Of all the bearmen to attack only a scant few survive to return to tell the tail of what just happened to the elders. This causes the Elf elder to come to the great tree to strike up a peace deal. The Tree and the areas in its fog will become the new territory of the Hala. and they will be left alone. THIS showcases just what they become and is hela important to the events of Volumes 6 and 7!
It's important but this is focusing the parts of Vol 2 and the backstory as well as what was cut out for the most recent episodes. It's important, but not important right for someone to understand the gist of things.

But I guess that's a personal netpic of mine considering how badly the animators chopped up the story rushing through 4 volumes worth of novels in season one
Wow, they really cut an entire city out of the anime.
So, I watched the season 2 of Arifureta (or at least the episodes that are available), and went about telling my brother about it since he said he doesn't mid spoilers (we are both over 20 btw). So I made a short, cursed summary of everything that transpired.
After I was done I asked "Any questions? Something you didn't understand?" and his answer was "Yeah well... I wasn't listening to you like at all". After hearing that for some unknown reason I replied with: "As you should" and used the secret head pat technique I learned from anime (imagine 20+ dude patting another on the head - hilarious isn't it?). So after that he asked - "is Arifureta any good yest?" at which I replied "Complete waste of time just stick to manga".
So yeah what I am getting at is - I simply want more of this series, since I don't have enough time to read the light novels too, and I still got some books queued up to read (like Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash). As such, keep up the good work and I hope to see another episode soon! Oh and new episode of cut content or watever of Mushoku Tensei is also most welcome!

This is what I have been saying for super long, its just that Season 1 screwed it up so much that the story seems a lot worse than it actually is.
I mean they skipped out an entire arc and almost all of Shea's development, along with Melodi's, who is a really important character btw!!

That was interesting video 👍 I am an anime enthusiasts only and I really enjoyed watching the anime adaptation of Arifureta, but I never read the light novels, nor the manga adaptation until recently last year. To me personally in my own opinion, I don’t mind some scenes from the book haven’t been adapted into the anime as I was at the time enjoying watching the show.
a bit of Advice here as a Fan of Arifureta ----- Anime killed the potential of Arifureta as the best Isekai Anime, so I recommend just read the manga or the LN, especially the LN because in LN it doesn't end there when they defeat the final boss no no no there is a bigger objective after that the the final boss is just the begining of the true story of Arifureta
