Max 20 points, and I think anti-social is -4 or something. But again, you do runs where you don't hire help so, it's basically free additional trait points. - One more tip, I also recommend not gambling. If you have decent diligence on each floor and loot it good, you'll usually have enough money to buy what you need. By the time you hit floor 2-2 and beyond, you'll have plenty of cash. Hey NL, since you enjoy playing the Doctor, you should try hiring people to help you when you play as them. Since you can't use weapons you can give them all to your followers, and the Doctor has the ability to heal their allies once per ally per floor.
You should try to get some friends to play with and/or focus on class unlocks. Scientist and doctor are some of the harder characters to play, and there is a learning curve. Get some friends to make it more bearable or play a class that's more beginner-friendly. I recommend soldier or either gangster class.
Co-op kinda sucks though, especially the way NL tries to blow through levels as quickly as possible. There are some fun combos, for sure (gangster + gorilla for example), but I'm not convinced it would be as much fun to watch as you think it would. Also, I think playing with the doctor especially is good for him, since it almost forces him to learn to play the game without running in guns blazing, and often that's the better way to handle missions.
Highly disagree. We would get additional commentary, smarter NL (assuming he plays with someone who can help him learn), and NL doesn't have to do everything himself. I wouldn't even call NL's playstyle a blitz- 26ish minute video that ends at the start of industrial. The time limit mutator expects you to be at least at the beginning of park by then, which is a whole 3 levels. Speaking from experience, even that's lenient. You can just about make it to Downtown in that amount of time. For me, Co-Op adds to the experience. I think NL would find it easier to entertain viewers, too, if he had a co-commentator. It's really not about the combinations, but helping NL learn faster with revives and such. As for the stealth gameplay, this isn't Hitman. Ghosting a level isn't going to get you some huge silent assassin bonus- in fact, the game will almost always ask you to neutralize someone or destroy something in private property. A non-lethal route nets you less experience and uses up several invaluable resources, including coins, items, and time. Many of the in-game items enable or incentivize the violent approach. The problem with doctor is that you can't swiftly and silently kill anyone in any fashion. Gameplay usually revolves around controlling the field and eliminating threats swiftly. All the doctor has access to is an expensive tranquilizer gun and chloroform. NL shouldn't force himself into one kind of strategy, especially when he's learning.
