Yep huge moment for everyone. The thing is if he died in FS, he would have been thrown into DDD ruining the run. After that no matter how long it took him to complete the run, no matter what, it would be the world's first 0 star. (As long as he didn't game over on the final Bowser.)
@@ClipReplay404 Yeah on day 5 or something he pulled off the DDD skip but then died in FS. Would have been one of the fastest WR grinds if he'd made it at the time. Even if he did lose count of his lives and not grab the 1-up and game overed, he did save and continue on bowser 2, so he could have loaded the save game and completed it (albeit quite a few minutes slower). Once he got that second key, it was just a matter of time. One heck of a moment.

(other question unrelated but i couldn't find the answer : how can you throw bowser from mario and not the holp while using pause buffered hitstun? Because this way you conserve the holp but you should see Bowser appear at the holp or am i missing something?)
Honestly this couldnt have been better. The fire sea mistake was nothing else than a prove of steel nerves on top of unmatched skill and dedication. Knowing that a death would kick you out of ddd again and ruin the whole run and still being able to back it up on your first attempt is truly unbelievable. You are a legend

Playing games blindfolded was already an insane but very interesting challenge, but seeing you pulling off glitches blindfolded that I can't even pull off while looking at my screen and even knowing how it works (lacking the practical skills), this really blows my mind. I did a "human theory" segmented run of 1 star a few years ago, and I was already on pace in runs to beat it at this point because I found faster strats :D

What I want to know is where you even go from here? Holding all 5 blindfolded WRs is such a monumental and incomprehensible achievement - arguably the greatest of any game ever - and yet here you are. Whatever comes next, I'm looking forward to it.

doing all 120 stars seperately is much easier than in 1 run
