I saw your VOX editing video, and some guy commented on this video that "this channel is gold", absolutely agreed, keep making more canva video editing videos as such high quality editing tutorial in canva is not available on UA-cam. Thanks for your work!
Lilly you are doing awesome. There are many people who love Canava but we don't see many canava editor with skills on UA-cam toturial sectio n. But for Adobe PP and AE there are many best toturial that can help you with advance editing. We need more Canava editor like you on UA-cam. Specially documentary style edit. Keep up the excellent work.
@@LillysTechTips Follow up question here, and sorry if I'm being silly, but if we compare the time and skills required for editing videos like these in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe PP or After Effects or even in Capcut when compared with Canva - how would you compare all? Which one is better or any suggestions? I just found out your channel, I must say your work is commendable, and you've become my inspiration. Thanks again for all the content you put out!
@@voidofseriousness Not silly at all. All platforms have their strengths and weaknesses. Canva has been positioned as a user-friendly design tool which is very easy to learn. But as usual, when something is less complicated that means it has a less complex output. The recent wave of AI features allows you to more easily replicate animations like Johhny Harris, BUT I would never get to his exact quality of work using Canva. Most notably Canva is not capable of adding 3d effects or perspective changes, while this is something Johhny implements in every map animation (he uses mostly After Effects). I used to use Premiere Pro all the time but just couldn't stand the bugs and it crashing all the time. Not to mention the price!! If you are just starting out and want a career as a professional editor/animator then I would suggest cutting your teeth in Canva + CapCut and moving on to one of the other platforms you mentioned as soon as you outgrow this combination. One thing to note, you will need a high-spec machine to run any of the Adobe products, particularly AE. Resolve is much better but still requires something decent to run smoothly. Thank you for your lovely words about the channel 🙂 and I wish you the best of luck with your career!!
Hey, it's my pleasure to be as your subscriber you are doing great job by making wonderful tutorials and most lovely thing that your mesmerizing tone.😊😊😊😵💫😎
Hey Lily, Can you please make a video in canva on how to edit like magnates media in canva. Also can you make another video containing all the popular effects used in documentaries. That would help me and many other video makers like me. Love your videos ❤
This has been a popular request but not very achievable so far in Canva. I'm hoping an app will come along soon that allows this kind of functionality. Otherwise I will investigate a third-party platform
these types of maximum videos upload please because of this is very useful for documentry video I have an another question and question is that if i have canva pro then i should use pixellab or not Thank you 😊😊
I'm not familiar with Pixellab and it depends on what you are trying to achieve. For me Canva Pro and CapCut (free) is the best low-cost solution for animation, graphics and video editing.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'v just checked both of them out, pretty high-end editing. I'll see what i can replicate in a future video when the time comes.
3D animations are not possible in Canva yet. As a workaround you can open the video library and search for "opening book loop". Select one of the videos that are angled directly at the camera. You will need to freeze-frame the video when the page opens (search canva freeze frame on YT) then animate your content onto the open page. That is the best i can tell you for now. I might incorporate this into a future video.
Great video as always! Vox, Johnny Harris, what next for the documentary style 😅 Btw, idk if you’ve seen these viral post styles, Would love to see a breakdown from you of these styles on canva: ua-cam.com/video/K32hd69PKzY/v-deo.htmlsi=Jiqa8OBJ6Bjri70c 👀 maybe even improve them..
Thank you :-) Actually I have asked that channel to stop replicating my videos a while back, and they have. Maybe I'l do a completely different take on those videos, I have seen others create them in CapCut
Hi, you make beautiful contents that are also very interesting and educational, the only thing is that they are very fast in my opinion and sometimes it is difficult to keep up with them, in my opinion you should go a little slower so it is also easier to understand, greetings😊😊
Thank you for the feedback 😊 I try my best to strike a balance between being straight to the point while being coherent but it can be difficult to follow, particulary if you are new to Canva. Il take your words on board for future tutorials, you can try slowing down the speed of the video as some people like to do this.

You are welcome!
Informative and detailed. Thank you for showing us what we can do with canva. Please create more videos on Vox style and Magnetsmedia style videos.
I'm looking into Magnetsmedia right now as this is a very popular request

@LillysTechTips can you please tell is there is any Camera in canava as we have in Adobe AE?
Canva really needs to lean in more into this. With everyone upset with Adobe, this would be ideal for people who don’t want to use After Effects
@canva are you listening??...this☝️☝️
We love you, also do create a donate button, you are setting us for success.
Thank you!! I think there is "Thanks" button there already ;-)

you are the best
Thank you, but whenever I do the slide transition it messes up the effects team, is this normal?
What section of the tutorial are you referring to? Can you give a timestamp like 01:23 for example 👍
@@LillysTechTips 03:53 ,but I saw you adjusting it manually a little later (I was doing it step by step), TY
Can you do sunnyv2 or magnate media next ?
Thanks for the suggestion, I'v just checked both of them out, pretty high-end editing. I'll see what i can replicate in a future video when the time comes.

you are big. just wait for the time.
WOW, thank you! That is a very encouraging comment to read, let's hope your right :-)
On my Canva I don't have the option to select the match and move .-.
That's strange, are all of the other transitions like dissolve and slide there?
Thanks , i would like to show us how to edit documentary video like saqlain khan
Just checked him out, he has some elements in his docs that are definitely achievable in Canva, I will keep them in mind for future videos.
Lilly be like: Johnny Harris who...
You're making me upgrading from free to pro in Canva! 🙄
