Lmbo it’s always worth it until it’s not. This video was actually back in January just never got around to editing and posting. My son lives in fayetteville so I was there seeing him…so yeah I guess it was worth it lol.
I feel you, one of the perks of being otr. When I was starting out, I parked in a shopping plaza and chilled with a friend, next morning truck and trailer was gone.
@@rodneydeville6400 yeah that happened to me once in another part of fayetteville behind a tractor supply. They had literally just put up the signs after I was already parked. I had been parking there along with a couple other trucks for months. They got new management and put a stop to that. They wrecker company tried to say the signs were already there before I parked. I called them on their bs showed evidence. They cut me some “slack” and instead of $1,400 I only had to pay $700 to get my truck and trailer back.
I'm glad it worked out for you, but I definitely would call a wrecker, 1000 is huge less than 10s of thousands and police involved, and don't mention the consequences with the customer and the insurance. Some money is not worth to try to save it

Why would you get out the truck and block the road
It was a side service road with a dead end. Well known parking area for trucks in fayetteville nc. Wasn’t blocking the road.

Facts. I def did a risk assessment and went super slow. Def had a plan to stop if it got too risky.
