Appreciate what you are making here. A little input if you don’t mind. A consolidating roller will absolutely give a stronger product and it is therefore a very important tool to use in most applications, again totally appreciate you’re only making a former here. Also a couple of waxes at most over that mould would have done save you a load of time and wax. As for saying fibreglassing is easy, well, try making a complex shape and get back to us. Interesting video, I’ve worked with fibreglass most my life so should know my stuff. Enjoyed the video.
I wonder if you can advise me im making a koi pond and the pond is 3m x 2m and 1m deep and its made out of panels sides front and back and the bottom what grade do u think i should use and how many layers im also going to reinforce the sides
@@richardfrost1026 I gather the main structure is block work? I would probably use the conventional 1/2 polyurethane foam sheets as used by many other pond fibreglassers.
Beany you're so talented.
It’s only paper mache for adults

Surely you want block work to support the sides due to water? Its worth watching this channel www.youtube.com/@GRPLiningServices
Hi mate can you tell me where you got your honeycomb sheets from please
Hello, we got everything from GRP UK LTD
Thanks do you think that I could use them as sides to a pond I'm doing it in sections and joining them together

How many layers of 450 gsm would you recommend for a transom on a 17ft dory boat mate?
What to go on the inside over the ply?
Yes mate on the inside cheers
@@skippystirling9770 Well it depends on engine size. A 50 hp should have 2400g of glass on the inside of the ply. With a 30-35mm plywood core.
Thanks beany cheers
