To clarify some things, Revenant and Ash are what’s called a simulacrum, a deceased human who’s consciousness was uploaded to a robotic body. However revenant unlike all other simulacrums, had thousands of bodies in factories owned by the syndicate all around the outlands, he was programmed to believe he was still human and forget all deaths he had but when his programing failed as you saw in the season 4 trailer he saw what he had become and experienced every death he’s had in the past 200 years and drove him insane vowing to kill every last person who did that to him
I love how this game represents a lot of different people's ethnicities and cultures like Maggie is Māori, she has a lot of Māori voicelines, it'll be good to watch the stories of the outlands to learn the lore, it's confusing to know what the lore is if you don't watch the stories of the outlands lol

My intuition isn’t bad, but it’s easy to pick up on things like that because the intricacies of these trailers are really good! It was easy to tell they’d get along from her introduction in the launch trailer where she names her gun and mirage responds ☺️ but I also consume a LOT of media - anime, movies etc, so it’s easier to pick up on stuff like that haha
Valk is my main. Her Jet makes moving around the map so easy. When I pick another champ and I can't fly it feels so weird. Also can't wait for the Stories reaction :)

(Along with the sound of shattering shields, Kraber hits, Pathfinder grapple swings, ...)
So fun fact horizon and seer were crazy when they released cause horizons tactical the gravity lift originally when you used it you can stay up on the gravity lift for pretty much forever until it ran out so you can literally be a pretty freaking hard target to hit and literally rain down bullets on everyone, now seer is pretty crazy one cause one his passive of hearing heartbeats that range was alot farther and his tactical originally it did 10 damage which is big cause if you used your passive you can potentially get a knocked down or kill someone which if not you would reveal them do 10 chip damage which btw the tactical let's you see the condition a player is in like if there super low to kill or what armor there rocking on top of it disrupting/brief stunning the enmey it hits which like if there healing up you just do that disrupt real quick and charge in real quick
I main Rampart; the “deadly Oprah” lol. She and mirage are definitely friends, and within the game, you can get special voicelines with other legends on your team, including these two. There’s a ton of cool stuff like that, even including a special Newcastle finisher (execution) on Bangalore only. I love this game.
I remember you asking in both videos if Maggie was related to Fuse and no they’re not but they did have that troublesome sibling type of relationship. A lot of people mistake Maggie for being Australian but she’s Maori/Polynesian and shares the same culture as Gibraltar who is also Maori but he also represents a few other Polynesian cultures so it’s hard to punch him in as only one Polynesian ethnicity. If you play Maggie in game she has a lot of Maori dialogue too :) But no she’s not related to Fuse :D I kinda rambled about the culture in this comment I’m sorry it’s just that I never see Maori representation as a Maori myself in gaming and it makes me so happy :))) Amazing video by the way, I love your reactions !

Some of the legends were invited by Kuben Blisk, the guy who made the game in lore (who is also the main antagonist in TF2). Octane joined for the adrenaline, Wattson joined in her fathers name, Bangalore joined to look for her brother, Loba joined to seek vengeance and same with Revenant (except he's after Hammond robotics), Valkyrie joined to build her own legend above her fathers, Newcastle joined to help save Harris Valley.

31:53 It's not really made for teamates, as you'll revive them anyways. She can scan an enemies death box and if the person who killed them is still alive, it'll mark their exact location. the enemy also gets a small alert telling them that an Ash has pinged them.
Ash's ult works differently than Wraith's. Wraith's is a two way portal and she must travel the distance between the two spots herself. Ash's is one way and just needs a line of sight.
wraith's passive got silent nerfed, it used to be so broken. You would glance at her and it would active "someone's looking at you" so that's why earlier on when someone's squad died they would hide in a corner looking at the wall because looking into the open at a wraith basically let their team know someone's in that vicinity
Octane's character was inspired by a Titanfall 2 gauntlet speedrun, where the player used a grenade to bosst them forward with more speed. Lore wise Octane did the exact same thing but blew his legs off. Edit: Cool it was mentioned like 20 seconds later hahaha

So Viper is probably the most difficult boss fight in Titanfall 2 and his titan Northstar can fly and shoot rockets. So after you kill Viper in Titanfall 2 his daughter Kairi Immahara aka Valkyrie wanted to get revenge from the one she thought was responsible but ultimately ended up turning Northstar into her jetpack and join the apex games.
I think it would be awesome if you reacted to someone playing Apex so you could see how the abilities work in an actual game. I would prefer someone like Getoffmyjankz as he is really good at the game, but doesn't take it too seriously and has fun with it. Or you could play yourself 🤷🏾♂️. Either way, I'd watch it. Awesome video as always!
just saying the abilities shown and their stats arent permanent they actually get adjusted quite frequently like octanes jump pad now goes way farther and has a double jump feature unlike when he was introduced
@@ChocolateKieran they almost never do patch note videos but they do put them on their website and also to explain Revenants ultimate he almost makes his teammates like zombies and when they are killed in the zombie state they go back to the totem with full armor but half their health and the totem can only be used once
Pretty sure someone has explained this already but, just to clarify a little bit about Revenant: he doesn't bring people back through his totem, he basically just turns himself and his squad immortal for a short period of time. When you click on his death totem, you turn into a shadow and, when an enemy shoots you until you're left with no HP, you go back to the totem you've started with half your HP. You don't have to do anything specific, you basically just like, get a second chance to keep fighting without being downed or completely finished. And about his self in general, he was a basically one of the best hitmans in the Outlands, so when he died (almost 300 years ago), Hammond Robotics took his brain and turned him into a simulacrum. He was initially human and, for the longest time, he believed he was still human. But when he received the call to kill Loba's father (who was like a thief, like a gang leader, that's why someone wanted him dead) and got that glass shard on his neck (that you saw on the launch trailer), his systems failed and he looked in the mirror for the first time seeing what he had become. He used to be a human being, now he was an obedient machine that's being mass produced, programmed to be the perfect murderer. The fucked up part is that Hammond Robotics kept his consciousness trapped inside a robot, but made so that every time he died during a job, he'd feel all the pain and suffering from dying. He died and died over and over again, but always came back. Everything Revenant wants right now is to die, so his consciousness can rest. Loba basically has a code that can turn him off permanently, but, since he killed her parents, she's keeping it away from him, not letting him die, not letting him rest, as a revenge.

Gibby is not the most picked Legend. While he is very popular in the ALGS Pro Series. Wraith has the highest pick rate. A lot of people thought when Ash came out she would replace her as most played but that never happened.
These trailers are quite old, the characters have already suffered many nerfs, buffs and reworks, especially Life Line and Mirage. The game is over three years old, it came long before Valorant.
Basically to some up revenant and ash there called simulacrum these are where a body is dead and they salvage the consciousness and input it into a robot and revenant was a bounty hunter that a company secretly used to kill high black market dealers and he died at some point meaning they didn't have any one to hire so they in consently took his consciousness and made him a simulacrum but he didnt know until hundreds of years later when on one of his missions abit of glass got in his circuits basically what happend in that trailer for him and loba so then when he found out that the company called Hammond industries made him a simulacrum he swore he would hunt down and try and take it down while also finding the source code for his brain to kill himself but in doing so loba got a hold of the source code and put it into the phase dimension (where wraith goes) because it would inturn lead him to forever suffering
It’s not weird, I just found it funny because a Haikyuu character used it to name one of their techniques so it’s hard for me not to think of that haha
Rampart is "English" raised but of Indian descent. She and Mirage are Roommates. Some of the biggest lore is in-game in the comics and the season events. There is also some stuff in the loading screens in the game, you get them every season. The first round of legends are from pre-season, so their videos are really short. Octane was technically the first legend to be added in Season 1/2 then after that a legend, a map(or map change), and a gun per season. Can't wait to see the reaction to the Stories from the outlands; They are really great.

Not only are mirage and rampart good friends they are room mates because ramparts housing took a long time to go through so she stayed with mirage and after it went through she decided to stay anyway because mirage wanted a sibling like person again because all his brothers died so it isn't just best friends they are essentially brother and sister
I don't recall anyone recommending these yet but Apex also always releases a gameplay trailers alongside the launch trailers and they are a lot of fun as well. Great music, and fun gameplay to hype people up for the next season.

A bit of lore for ya. Revenant is a simulacrum, a simulacrum is a basically a living human conscience placed into a computer chip/system that’s placed into a robot. That’s why revenant has multiple bodies because when his robot body is destroyed he will come back with new one, in other words he basically can’t die which is why he also has a vendetta against loba because her revenge is making him live as revvy wants to die because he’s been a simulacrum for 200 or moar years and she sent his source code (the thing that can finally put him down) 20 years away from the outlands. Also fun fact rampart named her mini gun Sheila after Valkyrie’s ex girlfriend she also help built Valks jet pack.
Okay so for the ununderstood lore content, Apex is based in the same universe as Titanfall but it happens after the stroy of Titanfall 2. A few legend is closely related to that time like Ash who is a legit boss in Titanfall 2 and Valkyrie who is the daughter of the Titanfall 2 Boss named Viper.. The Apex games were created because of a man named Cuban Blisk, he was the main antagonist of Titanfall 2. The 2 games are really, REALLY closely related to each other so please look up the lore i promise it will be benificial to understand a lot of things happening in Apex.
The stories from the Outlands really explain a lot for the Legends and most of them are actually real heat

I think it would be awesome if you reacted to someone playing Apex so you could see how the abilities work in an actual game. I would prefer someone like Getoffmyjankz as he is really good at the game, but doesn't take it too seriously and has fun with it. Or you could play yourself 🤷🏾♂️. Either way, I'd watch it. just saying the abilities shown and their stats arent permanent they actually get adjusted quite frequently like octanes jump pad now goes way farther and has a double jump feature unlike when he was introduced

@@ChocolateKieran they almost never do patch note videos but they do put them on their website and also to explain Revenants ultimate he almost makes his teammates like zombies and when they are killed in the zombie state they go back to the totem with full armor but half their health and the totem can only be used once
Based on personality alone, Rampart is one of the best legends in the game. I do have a lot of fun playing her
Pretty sure someone has explained this already but, just to clarify a little bit about Revenant: he doesn't bring people back through his totem, he basically just turns himself and his squad immortal for a short period of time. When you click on his death totem, you turn into a shadow and, when an enemy shoots you until you're left with no HP, you go back to the totem you've started with half your HP. You don't have to do anything specific, you basically just like, get a second chance to keep fighting without being downed or completely finished.
And about his self in general, he was a basically one of the best hitmans in the Outlands, so when he died (almost 300 years ago), Hammond Robotics took his brain and turned him into a simulacrum. He was initially human and, for the longest time, he believed he was still human. But when he received the call to kill Loba's father (who was like a thief, like a gang leader, that's why someone wanted him dead) and got that glass shard on his neck (that you saw on the launch trailer), his systems failed and he looked in the mirror for the first time seeing what he had become. He used to be a human being, now he was an obedient machine that's being mass produced, programmed to be the perfect murderer.
The fucked up part is that Hammond Robotics kept his consciousness trapped inside a robot, but made so that every time he died during a job, he'd feel all the pain and suffering from dying. He died and died over and over again, but always came back. Everything Revenant wants right now is to die, so his consciousness can rest. Loba basically has a code that can turn him off permanently, but, since he killed her parents, she's keeping it away from him, not letting him die, not letting him rest, as a revenge.

Basically to some up revenant and ash there called simulacrum these are where a body is dead and they salvage the consciousness and input it into a robot and revenant was a bounty hunter that a company secretly used to kill high black market dealers and he died at some point meaning they didn't have any one to hire so they in consently took his consciousness and made him a simulacrum but he didnt know until hundreds of years later when on one of his missions abit of glass got in his circuits basically what happend in that trailer for him and loba so then when he found out that the company called Hammond industries made him a simulacrum he swore he would hunt down and try and take it down while also finding the source code for his brain to kill himself but in doing so loba got a hold of the source code and put it into the phase dimension (where wraith goes) because it would inturn lead him to forever suffering

Rampart is "English" raised but of Indian descent. She and Mirage are Roommates. Some of the biggest lore is in-game in the comics and the season events. There is also some stuff in the loading screens in the game, you get them every season. The first round of legends are from pre-season, so their videos are really short. Octane was technically the first legend to be added in Season 1/2 then after that a legend, a map(or map change), and a gun per season.

Not only are mirage and rampart good friends they are room mates because ramparts housing took a long time to go through so she stayed with mirage and after it went through she decided to stay anyway because mirage wanted a sibling like person again because all his brothers died so it isn't just best friends they are essentially brother and sister

I don't recall anyone recommending these yet but Apex also always releases a gameplay trailers alongside the launch trailers and they are a lot of fun as well. Great music, and fun gameplay to hype people up for the next season.

A bit of lore for ya. Revenant is a simulacrum, a simulacrum is a basically a living human conscience placed into a computer chip/system that’s placed into a robot. That’s why revenant has multiple bodies because when his robot body is destroyed he will come back with new one, in other words he basically can’t die which is why he also has a vendetta against loba because her revenge is making him live as revvy wants to die because he’s been a simulacrum for 200 or moar years and she sent his source code (the thing that can finally put him down) 20 years away from the outlands. Also fun fact rampart named her mini gun Sheila after Valkyrie’s ex girlfriend she also help built Valks jet pack.
Okay so for the ununderstood lore content, Apex is based in the same universe as Titanfall but it happens after the stroy of Titanfall 2. A few legend is closely related to that time like Ash who is a legit boss in Titanfall 2 and Valkyrie who is the daughter of the Titanfall 2 Boss named Viper.. The Apex games were created because of a man named Cuban Blisk, he was the main antagonist of Titanfall 2. The 2 games are really, REALLY closely related to each other so please look up the lore i promise it will be benificial to understand a lot of things happening in Apex.
After seeing it like this, each new legend just finishes the old legend
Eg. Horizon finishes Rampart, Rampart finisher Loba, etc.
