These cinematics are absolutely canon, the devs confirmed it. Also the Legends don't really "die" in the game, the devs don't want to tell us exactly how everything works but they dropped some hints about a "respawn chamber" in one of Octane's voicelines.
It's important to note that the respawn chamber line is most likely just Octane making reference to video games. I highly doubt there is a real respawn chamber.

There have been non canon One Piece movies that have introduced canon story elements and characters before the manga, so I see why people can get confused. I think in relevance to the story that whilst these trailers are fun they have the same relevance to the lore as things like overwatch or valorant cinematics. Enough to be canon but enough to be entertaining for those not in the loop. Edit: also you should defo try playing again. It can be quite confusing and intimidating sometimes but stick with it and they’re will definitely be a game that hooks you.

Everyone enters the Apex games for their own reason, it's not necessarily for just fun. For example Crypto, the guy who you said looks like Dabi and has Sasuke’s personality entered the games to find the people who framed him for murder Pathfinder (The friendly robot in the beginning) entered the games to find his creator 9:50 Revenant (Evil Robot) was a human and skilled mercenary until he died. The Syndicate then took his brain and implanted it into a Simulacrim making him think he was a human, he spent a long time as a mercenary for the Syndicate. Until he looked in the mirror and it showed him what he really was. So his trying to find his source code so that he could die And there are other reasons to why the other guys entered the games

I've been wanting an Apex TV show since this game launched 3 years ago. After watching Arcane, I know it can be done. Respawn already puts out those stories from the outlands so they they're moving in the right direction

Wraith (the girl with white eyes) actually was being spoken to. At all times she can hear every version of herself in different realities, and so can all the other versions of her. She can tune most of them out, but uses them to her advantage as sometimes they can tell her useful information. Things like: If there are alot of enemies nearby If an enemy has her in their sights If an enemy is aiming a sniper at her If there are traps nearby If alot of people have died nearby She can also share this information with her team.
I strongly suggest you watch all Apex trailers. I'm talking Stories from the outlands (these explain the backstories for the characters), gameplay trailers (they're short and provide some info about the different seasons) and the character trailers (these explain the character's abilities. They're also the shortest). I know this might sound like a hassle but trust me when I say it's worth it. Respawn makes *THE* best trailers.
Ah the legends are one big massive found family. Its honestly one of my favorite things about Apex is how outside of the games, they all look after and take care of each other. This is majorly explored during season comics which shows many of them working together to help another or 'saving' another legend whos gone to get themselves in trouble *cough* the first Halloween event. It's also why in the final trailer when faced with the impending danger, everyone works together despite the fact they were in the middle of a match. They might kill each other for entertainment but in the end they are family and that's why i love Apex Lore so much.
Damm I loved your reaction, let me summarize things that will make more sense: - Every new season (each 4 months) they start releasing cinematics 2 weeks before, reveiling piece by piece. - Usually the first cinematic is character little lore + background and some other shit. - The second is another cinematic with the character using its abilities - The third is the actual gameplay. Also every cinematic they put mixed in some teasers about new weapons that are coming up. Also every time you see a map being destroyed that 99% means the battle royale map is being remodeled or even reworked. Also every time you see a new map it really a new map that's coming for the battle royale map rotation. - About the abilities: Each character has uniques 1 usable ability, 1 passive ability, and 1 ultimate. Coldowns, damage, and ability behaviors are totatally differnte from character to characters.
Yeah, it definitely helps to know more about the legends and their abilities before you jump into Apex. The best advice I can give is to jump into the firing range and learn which weapons you like before jumping into the main game. If you do give it a try again, start as Bangalore. Her kit is very good for beginniners who are just starting out. And if you are into it, theres a Valorsnt type gamemode in Apex called Arenas. You can buy the weapons and character abilities and everything there. Its a good place to start if you want to pick it up again.
apex definitely takes some getting used to when you first start playing it but it is so much fun! Definitely watch the Stories From The Outlands and the Meet the Legends videos! And a lot of us in the community have been wanting Respawn to make a show because the trailers aren't enough lol i always want more

Yes you need to play Apex again! When this game first came out in 2019, I tried it and was not interested. I was super hooked to OW and stupidly expected it to be almost the same. Played it awhile later when Loba came out in 2020. Changed my whole view on the game and literally became addicted to it
I had a similar experience. Played the game when it launched with Wraith for like 12 matches, got 2 kills in total, thought the game wasn't for me. Joined back in S3 thanks to a co-worker and been playing ever since. Lots of fun, man.

Few things I would love to explain In term of Loba, I understand that people feel sorry for her but her father was a criminal and revenant is kind of a bounty hunter, he is not good or evil he is kinda like sombra, he will do anything as long it gives him benefits or is good for him. Revenant thought he is a human. After he pulled out the glass he realized he is not a human but a robot and it says later that he now remembers all of his deaths. In term of Fuze video. I believe other legends evacuated people but it's only my own wishful thinking. Fuze and Maggie used to be friends and Fuze lost his hand beacuse of Maggie, that's all I all I have to say. Horizon and Ash are enemies to each other. If i remember right Ash was antagonist in other game of respawn (titanfall I think) In games legends don't die, I believe that they have some kind of device that let them make copies of them, that's why you can collect banner of your teammates and revive them by calling for ship that will drop them. For now last thing, Bangalore was looking for her brother last season. After all evidence she got, she was sure he is dead, that's why she decided to leave apex games but as you saw Jackson joined apex games, for now we have no clue why he faked his death etc. i believe we will learn it in next season that we will have in few days. I'm pretty hyped for it.
The lore of revenant is that he was a robot-assassin created by an association called Hammond Labs. There are many of these robot assassins but they’re programmed to think that they’re human. When that glass shard was in revenant’s neck, it messed with the programming and he realized he was a robot and not actually a human and that he’s been lied to this whole time.. so he wants to get revenge on Hammond Labs
So every legend has a passive ability, a tactical ability, and an ultimate ability, as well as being able to find different weapons across the map and other healing supplies and ammo. The Apex Games are a televised event, so the legends are essentially celebrity warriors. Respawn hasn’t gone over any in world lore about how the legends are killing each other, but the leading theory is that the legends hop into a match, fight, die, and get respawned via some tech designed for the Apex Games. While the trailers and the actual gameplay make it look fast, in lore rounds of Apex can take days to complete. Excited to see you watch the Stories from the Outlands, they’re all pretty good, but even then it’s only really hitting the top of the iceberg for these characters. There’s so much in game lore, updating voicelines between characters to show developing relationships, comics, etc. It’s such a fleshed out world

He was a human bounty hunter and died 300 years before present Apex Universe. He was a great asset so they made a simulacrum out of him. Any human asset that was important was turned into a simulacrum.
Valkyrie, the girl with the jet pack was the start of them getting closer connections to Titan Fall, her dad was one of the Apex Predators that were bosses in the Titan Fall 2 campaign. Ash is another one that was a boss

They avoid death due to the death box and revivication chamber technologies. Upon death their bodies are teleported and replaced with death boxes that contain all their gear and banners. Their bodies are teleported to a type of vat chamber that repairs their injuries. The banners can then be picked up by any surviving teammates to reach a res beacon and bring them back into the game.
For anyone confused : I don’t know if it’s stated but I’m pretty sure that the indication is that in canon the Legends get revived after the game is done. So basically they just get temporarily killed until someone wins the game and they they come back and play another time. Besides that they just chill around together until the next game. Correct me if I’m wrong tho.
bro the reason the robot was human when he looked in the mirror by the that was one of the cinematics that was canon, he is a human who died but his brain was salvaged and put into the other bots it's just like ash, but the trauma is so terrible that sometimes he thinks he still human

Was awesome to go through these again, and with someone who’s not seen them! If there’s anything Apex knows how to do, it’s a darn good cinematic. Also whoever said the cinematics aren’t canon is wrong, they are absolutely canon. They have major events like map changes, such as when Maggie blows up King’s Canyon on Fuse’s arrival (Season 8), or important points of lore, like the Revenant one where he murders Loba’s parents (Season 4), so they kind of have to be.
watching all the stories from the outlands in order will explain all the lore like why Horizon (scottish mommy) and Ash (female robot from titanfall) are enemies. Also, Valkyries dad is Viper from TItanfall. Viper and Ash worked together so theres a connection there too.
While trying to avoid as many spoilers as possible, I'll try and cover the basic information to some of your questions! Wraith (The edgy female in the first trailer) can use portals and effectively travel through a separate dimension for a short distance. Mirage uses holographic technology to make perfect copies of himself that disappear when attacked. To your question about thinking they all hate each other (although you did find out yourself shortly after) the Apex Games is an old Bloodsport where the best of the best come together to from teams of 3 and fight to the death. reagrdless of what actually happens within the arena they will always "respawn" so to speak, but generally they are all chill with eachother (some grudges though aka Loba the thiCC thief and Revenant the guy you keep calling "Death"). Octane, "The Adrenaline Junkie" of Apex uses a performance drug called "stim" which gives the user much faster speeds temporarily, and he will forever be my main
Revenants name is Kaleb cross he was a hitman for the syndicate the people who run the apex games but has similar to ash but he wasn't supposed to be a piolet like her but when his trailer came out and the glass shard that was in his neck made him remember 300 years of his death and his killings

Few things I would love to explain
In term of Loba, I understand that people feel sorry for her but her father was a criminal and revenant is kind of a bounty hunter, he is not good or evil he is kinda like sombra, he will do anything as long it gives him benefits or is good for him. Revenant thought he is a human. After he pulled out the glass he realized he is not a human but a robot and it says later that he now remembers all of his deaths.
In term of Fuze video. I believe other legends evacuated people but it's only my own wishful thinking. Fuze and Maggie used to be friends and Fuze lost his hand beacuse of Maggie, that's all I all I have to say.
Horizon and Ash are enemies to each other. If i remember right Ash was antagonist in other game of respawn (titanfall I think)
In games legends don't die, I believe that they have some kind of device that let them make copies of them, that's why you can collect banner of your teammates and revive them by calling for ship that will drop them.
For now last thing, Bangalore was looking for her brother last season. After all evidence she got, she was sure he is dead, that's why she decided to leave apex games but as you saw Jackson joined apex games, for now we have no clue why he faked his death etc. i believe we will learn it in next season that we will have in few days. I'm pretty hyped for it.

The stories from the Outlands are the stories of each character and explains the story. They will explain everything
The lore of revenant is that he was a robot-assassin created by an association called Hammond Labs. There are many of these robot assassins but they’re programmed to think that they’re human. When that glass shard was in revenant’s neck, it messed with the programming and he realized he was a robot and not actually a human and that he’s been lied to this whole time.. so he wants to get revenge on Hammond Labs

Apex has such a nice different cast of personalities and their backstory is very interesting
Apex Lore is the definition of "you had to have played Titanfall" to fully understand
I remember playing the Beta for the first one I believe but I got 0 knowledge on any campaign stuff 💀
Stories from the Outlands will give you lore and background from most of the Legends, Pathfinder has had a whole story arc now
So every legend has a passive ability, a tactical ability, and an ultimate ability, as well as being able to find different weapons across the map and other healing supplies and ammo. The Apex Games are a televised event, so the legends are essentially celebrity warriors. Respawn hasn’t gone over any in world lore about how the legends are killing each other, but the leading theory is that the legends hop into a match, fight, die, and get respawned via some tech designed for the Apex Games. While the trailers and the actual gameplay make it look fast, in lore rounds of Apex can take days to complete.
Excited to see you watch the Stories from the Outlands, they’re all pretty good, but even then it’s only really hitting the top of the iceberg for these characters. There’s so much in game lore, updating voicelines between characters to show developing relationships, comics, etc. It’s such a fleshed out world
The cinematics that you see as far as destruction goes are the devs showing the changes to the maps. It's not just one world.

These legends make way more sense when you watch stories from the outlands lol, although me personally I may be a tad biased I would recommend trying Apex again as it has changed a lot, great video either way though!

He was a human bounty hunter and died 300 years before present Apex Universe. He was a great asset so they made a simulacrum out of him. Any human asset that was important was turned into a simulacrum.

Valkyrie, the girl with the jet pack was the start of them getting closer connections to Titan Fall, her dad was one of the Apex Predators that were bosses in the Titan Fall 2 campaign. Ash is another one that was a boss

Then you get to Season 4 and 5, the darkest two 😂😂
They avoid death due to the death box and revivication chamber technologies. Upon death their bodies are teleported and replaced with death boxes that contain all their gear and banners. Their bodies are teleported to a type of vat chamber that repairs their injuries. The banners can then be picked up by any surviving teammates to reach a res beacon and bring them back into the game.
For anyone confused : I don’t know if it’s stated but I’m pretty sure that the indication is that in canon the Legends get revived after the game is done. So basically they just get temporarily killed until someone wins the game and they they come back and play another time. Besides that they just chill around together until the next game. Correct me if I’m wrong tho.

bro the reason the robot was human when he looked in the mirror by the that was one of the cinematics that was canon, he is a human who died but his brain was salvaged and put into the other bots it's just like ash, but the trauma is so terrible that sometimes he thinks he still human
11:45 Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the lore with this guy is that they took the best assasin they could find and wired his brain into a machine so his conscience can be thrown into a robotic body, and if the robot is destroyed they just need to upload him to another robot, so he is virtually immortal

Was awesome to go through these again, and with someone who’s not seen them! If there’s anything Apex knows how to do, it’s a darn good cinematic. Also whoever said the cinematics aren’t canon is wrong, they are absolutely canon. They have major events like map changes, such as when Maggie blows up King’s Canyon on Fuse’s arrival (Season 8), or important points of lore, like the Revenant one where he murders Loba’s parents (Season 4), so they kind of have to be.
You should watch storys from the outlands to understand the Apex lore it's amazing....much love to the vid amazing such a vibe😌♥️

watching all the stories from the outlands in order will explain all the lore like why Horizon (scottish mommy) and Ash (female robot from titanfall) are enemies. Also, Valkyries dad is Viper from TItanfall. Viper and Ash worked together so theres a connection there too.

Wraith (The edgy female in the first trailer) can use portals and effectively travel through a separate dimension for a short distance.
Mirage uses holographic technology to make perfect copies of himself that disappear when attacked.
To your question about thinking they all hate each other (although you did find out yourself shortly after) the Apex Games is an old Bloodsport where the best of the best come together to from teams of 3 and fight to the death. reagrdless of what actually happens within the arena they will always "respawn" so to speak, but generally they are all chill with eachother (some grudges though aka Loba the thiCC thief and Revenant the guy you keep calling "Death").
Octane, "The Adrenaline Junkie" of Apex uses a performance drug called "stim" which gives the user much faster speeds temporarily, and he will forever be my main
Revenants name is Kaleb cross he was a hitman for the syndicate the people who run the apex games but has similar to ash but he wasn't supposed to be a piolet like her but when his trailer came out and the glass shard that was in his neck made him remember 300 years of his death and his killings
