My favorite dining experience has got to be a recent trip to Bestia in Barcelona. Amazing dishes that change daily depending on the seafood and veggies they can get. Great wine list with an awesome sommelier. A friend and I went and had amazing cocktails, bottle of wine and after dinner drinks with 8 courses for €200. Highly recommend if you're visiting!
How good of a restaurant to constantly change it's menu up on the fly - depending on what it gets that day! Fresh is best - and paired with a great Sommelier, can really elevate an amazing meal! None of us have been to Barcelona - but maybe one day we will - it'll be top of our list! Thanks so much!
The aligote jackpot goes up again! Predicting it gets to $35 before getting called/won.
Best dining experience for me has to be a long lunch at Osteria Ilaria in Melbourne - amazing food, great wine list, and superb service. Closely followed by Sunday lunch at Bar Liberty in Fitzroy.
Hmmm I'd say it'll hit $100 before it's won! The boys are quite terrible at picking Aligote!
Osteria Ilaria is utterly awesome isn't it?!?! And Bar Liberty!!! The chicken skin sando is out of this world!
Favourite dining experience - Degustation lunch at Maxwell Wines (McLaren Vale) in October last year. Absolutely sensational!
