He loves his job so much he does it twice. This is what they mean by work smarter not harder, this man is a hard working man. Next time make you self more room by removing the brake pads, and use the correct tools.
If the abs issue continues u might want to clean the tone ring and tighten the spindle nut on that hub. I had a similar issue w the abs light turning on randomly on the trailer and those two things fixed it.
I had already cleaned the tone ring a few weeks before when I put on brake shoes, had a sensor on my trailer do something similar one time and then it eventually stopped working altogether it was alot easier to change though LOL
Might be dumb question only video on you tube I could find I'm having similar issues replace abs valve grabbed new sensors so my abs valves have a 3 pole plug but my sensor has a 2 pole how do I mate this up I seen some box in video that plugged into what is that called and appreciate sharing your knowledge
Gonna get me a proper tig welder one of these days so I can properly repair things I decide to break out of frustration LOL Happy Labor day weekend everyone!
Another good repair and making it happen but again get some PBR blaster and when you can wire brush bolts, nuts and attachments for a clean rear attachment to the frame.
Lmao! You can remove the brake then the sensor housing comes off, only two 15/16 nuts & bolt. Then spray penetrate oil on the sensor and housing and smack that sucker right out of there. that housing only cost $40. 27 years as a diesel mechanic and I own a shop and a roadside service for semis and trailers. That repair only takes an hour on any truck 1.5 hours on a trailer. very, very simple repair.
Hi Man , 2015 cascadia I have unplugged wabco radar because it get me ABS ON but sometimes it goes off when radar plugged in could it be the same issue , also the same tire locked when parked for a week or so .
yep trailer has it also I have rebuilt all the abs valves and changed a few sensors on the trailer before I started youtube. they started abs on semis in 98-99 ish. It actually works well when everything is functioning properly, keeps from flat spotting tires on an empty trailer. seen your vid on undercoating this morning glad I don't have to deal with that mess, that's why I couldn't get this sensor out, the guy that used to own this truck ran up north.
I think they started abs on big trucks around 98-99 era, actually work good on an empty trailer to keep from flat spotting trailer tires when empty, but it is another system for something to go wrong with eventually

Adapt and overcome. You made it work. I'd like a proper TIG welder too. Maybe someday...

IDK, you will have to find out what the code is and work from there. I had a code for this wheel speed sensor.
@@LifeWithChase had no codes in dashboard
When you have abs sensor problem , do you have difficulty at shifting gears ?
No
Cruise control stop working
I didn't know it had abs and the trailer has abs too ? Chase you just love rig repairs better than driving eh :)

Big trucks have ABS? I didn't know that. I hate ABS by the way. In my opinion it stands for Absolute Bull Shit
