When u entered the produce market and went to rubin brothers those are our trucks where u was turning I work in the hunts point produce market we bring in the rail trailers to the market for the stores and yes I agree it gets hectic Sunday morning and throughout that day but we make it work
I rode with my uncle when he started as an O/O into HPM nearly every trip on my summer vacation when I was a kid. Seafood from Boston and produce out. Then I got my B after HS and ran compactors and dumpsters to HPM. Now I'm way up Northern NY and it's pure heaven hauling equipment and sand. I can't imagine what OTR is like these days, I'm home by 3pm nearly every day and make 2x as much. The trucks are top notch too, nothing but 18 spd hoods. Stay safe!
Thanks for the tour. Tip of my cap to you. I’m a fuel hauler up here in Grand Rapids MI. Makes zero sense to me how you can do that job. Being at the mercy of the receivers and waiting for hours on end isn’t for me!
I was 18 years old the first time I backed up a cab over peterbilt 40ft I run up to the meat market also across from the produce market and also Krasdale foods and I did that for 10 years I grew up there in the Huntspoint It not bad the traffic could be 🤬
You represent the market well…you should do an overnight video next run 😎
I grew up close to the market . Thanks for the positivity and the memories. 👍🏽
troopers do that on I40 in Lebanon Tn also
I've been there. I swore I'd never go back, but now it feels like a challenge.
Thanks for showing. I was there 2006 and remembering could not idle truck and had to use idleaire. I guess got rid of that.
