Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus swears-in as the chief advisor of Bangladesh's new interim government. This comes after weeks of deadly protests in Bangladesh that led to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's ouster. Upon arriving in the country to assume his role as interim leader, Yunus declared that there is "a lot of work to be done" in Bangladesh. Yunus, aged 84, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for his pioneering work on microlending, was appointed head of the interim government after President Mohammed Shahabuddin dissolved parliament on Tuesday.

@@mitul061177 India did it for strategic reasons, instead of 2 attack points it no only has one in the West now (self interest, not brotherly love). Muslim world is vast, it not just "Muslims", it encompasses Alvis, Druze, Kurds, Ismail's, Shias (there are number of school under this umbrella) the Sunnis (the 4 schools under this umbrella). Balkan Muslims for instance, drink and eat pork and their women wear mini-skirts. You have millions of Muslims in China, Hui ethic Chinese, Indonesian Muslims, Azerbaijani Muslims, Thai Muslims. But you have stereotype of an Arab terrorist. Brother, you need to explore the world!

@@jabsdrahm.3232 Numbers don’t lie , the minority in Pakistan during partition in 1947 was 14 % and now it’s less than 1% , in Bangladesh the minority was 22% in 1971 and now it’s 5% whereas in India 🇮🇳 the minority was 3% and now as of 2024 their population is 15% , this clearly shows in which country minorities are taken care of, minorities from Bangladesh and Pakistan have to flee their homes because of oppression which is not the case with minorities in India , care to explain why ?
