I bet that you are glad you pulled the trigger on the barn build when you did. That is one sweet trailer Robert. I don’ have enough truck to pull it. Maybe not even with both trucks. Loved the opening shots with you pulling in with the equipment all loaded up on it. Good to see you with that big old smile on your face. Must be the cap.
Great video. Very nice job on the review. Those lumber prices yikes!!! Something just came to mind about that handle that holds the ramps down. A few years ago I remember hardware stores selling a container that had the stuff in it to make your own tool coating like making a new handle for pliers, screwdrivers, and other tools. I don't remember the name of it. It might be a good idea to keep on hand if you find it.
@@richardbrowne1679 this is pretty much it. I've thought for a long time what I would order if I could. Maybe add the shocker hitch. We switched ny dad's 42 ft 5th wheel from the 5th wheel hitch to a gooseneck goose box with a built in air bag. Total difference. Maybe the oak deck if I had to pick another thing. But that is minor.
Thanks Robert: The Shocker Hitch is Fantastic. I have one I use with the Diamond C Low Profile Dump Trailer. I’m definitely going to get one for the Fmax 207. The Shocker hitch is much cheaper if you buy it directly from Shocker Hitch. I’m also considering the winch. I was originally going to use the receiver mount, but I want the full length locking chain rack. The receiver mount and locking chain rack don’t seem to mesh well.
@@richardbrowne1679 that's what I saw online. So we will probably get one. I've been very impressed with my winch from harbor freight for my truck. Will out the same one on the trailer.
you have no clue what you're talking about on DOT trailer wise Ohio is one of the worst strictest place And you can have a trailer up to 26000 pounds not 26 0 1

Haha thanks Gary. I was just happy I was getting the dead King Quad out of my garage and back to dad's hahah.
That’s an extremely nice trailer Robert! Great job on the review and we’ll see ya on the next one…
Thank you!

Great idea! I think it's plastidip or something like that. Thanks for the idea David.
I just priced one out last week and it was a 25 foot +5 foot mega ramps probably a few less options of what you’ve got and it was $14,699 +TT&L
I’m getting ready to buy a FMAX 207.
Nice. It's a great addition to have around if you want be hauling anything over 10k
@@PheasantLaneFarm Are there any options that you would add if you were buying again?

Is your trailer 32+ dovetail or 32 over all nice trailer
Its 27 of deck plus the 5 ft of dovetail. They make them longer, I think up to 44 ft depending on model. Thanks for the comment

Why did they talk you out of the 8000 axles, would that put you over gvw because I'm looking for one now and that's what I wanted
They said they aren't a fan of the 8k axles. I didn't need them and it would have put us over. They said if youbare going the 8 just go to the 10.
@@PheasantLaneFarmThe manufacturer can also derate your trailer if you want heavier axles.
how much does that trailer weigh empty?
Right around 6000. I don't remember the exact weight. Maybe a little less.
Get Amber in on this video! She is HOT!
The big F word FAITH. Another big F word FRUGAL. Glad Frugal is not in everybody’s vocabulary lol definitely not our government.
Haha that's for sure. The big word on this is timing. When we picked it up, we could have sold it for a very nice profit.

I guess the conversations I had with the dot officers and the trailer dealer were all wrong.
