- My bizarrely most requested video: A redo of CoMI where I look at the "Papapishu!" sign.
I also made some other improvements, such as more dialog to make the story flow better and accessing more easter eggs. Enjoy!
When Guybrush was tar and feathered you can visit other parts of the island and some of the characters have reactions to thinking he is el pollo diablo lol

Love the Curse of Monkey’s Island! I always find something I’ve missed each time I go through it. My only wish is that they remade the fourth installation in the same style as this. It’s hard to sit through and not to mention play Escape since the controls are so wonky... :(
Part 4 was a major disappointment. I never finished it because of the darn controls. They should remaster it into point&click
I don't think we will see a remaster or further titles, Disney who own Lucas Arts, closed it gaming division, pulled a load of apps from Apple and Google, I'm surprised they are still available on Steam etc. Ron G asked Disney a few times to sell him the rights, but they have never replied.

Played this growing up and fell in love with it ever since. This brought back found memory's and I learned a thing or two like the Papapishu bit never new the youch changed once u read that.

I think we all know what it's like to rely on someone who tends to make it clear that we're not a high priority to them.
Wally’s one of my favorite characters in the series. I was so thrilled to see him again in Return! Glad he kept managing to get out of perilous cliffhangers, somehow.
1:54:30 the death scene and subsequent "I didn't think you couldn't die in LucasArts adventure games" and the points scored (like Sierra Games used to show) is too funny!

I started laughing out loud during the Captain Kirk impersonation dialogue when he is in the pot attempting to confuse Fossey. Too good.
If you don't save the choking pirate immediately, he starts turning funny colours. In fact I think I left him for half an hour once...turned a funny shade of purple.
So many great Monkey 3 easter eggs. I should compile them all in a video sometime.

Felt like this was such a long game. Never thought the whole game would only be three hours long. Still, this was worth a replay!

In the german audio Guybrush gave Cpt. leChimp a more monkey-like voice. That was a funny touch.

THE SCUMM BAR :-) There‘s even a playthrough twice as long and I‘m still not sure if it covers all the dialogues in the game! I like the idea that there‘s still something new to discover after all those years.

The only problen with this game is that the first and last act are very short (especially the last with like 2 puzzles). Apart from that this is a perfect game and the comedy is top level

Best Pirate Game (All Years)
Not as quirky or iconic as the first two but still a quality game. As others have said the ending was a bit abrupt but all in all it was a great adventure. I miss Monkey Island.
Best Monkey Island game. I never liked Monkey Island past Meleé island and Monkey Island 2 is great, but the story is complete garbage and I absolutely hate the ending. Monkey Island 3 is perfection. It retcons the dumb ME2 ending, innovates a completely new art style for the world and has the best soundtrack, brings back sword fights in a spectacular manner and is just all around iconic.
What a beautiful game...

Playing this at 1.25x speed makes all the dialog seem more natural. Not necessarily better, but more natural.

You might want to try World of Longplay's version of this playthrough. I don't tend to exhaust dialogues unless it's plot-related.
