    Thank you lots of family live there my uncle in the 1950s had a cobblers shop I think the street was called Dan's castle

      @@NorthernExposure1 Just down the hill on the right is the best butcher's you'll ever find ! Try the Pork sandwich dips there reknown all over the NE. Tow Law highest village in County Durham and without doubt the deepest snow (20') i've ever seen March 1979.

    There are spectacular views going to Tow Law and around that area.Hope Starmers "Build anywhere" leaves the place alone.
