Yes, indeed, but it is the same airplane. This movie was made by mixing the footage shot over two afternoons of fight testing. The KFm profiles (green pieces of foam) were removable and secured with tape. So it was possible to evaluate the behavior of Ef2000 with no profile and with the KFm2 and KFm4 all in the same conditions. Conclusions: KFm2 is worth its weight. The plane is more suitable for low speeds. But Kfm4 is fantastic. Faster, more stable and very precise maneuvering.
Hello Sparrowlt The KF2 behaves more or less like a Clark-Y or an NACA 2412, while KF4 behaves more like a symmetrical profile (NACA 0012). Therefore, the latter is more efficient in speed and wind penetration. Obviously we are talking about small electric foamies and not heavier, complex models. To this extent, the ease of construction the profiles KFM allow overcomes the disadvantages over conventional profiles.
Makes sense.. a KF2 is after all flat underside and all airfoil curve is in the upside. a KF4 is more like a simetric airfoil.. tought i wonder.. if i want to make a KF4 should i simple double the extrados "add-on" in the intrados or would it be good to reduce both of them to avoid having a thicker airfoil.. Im wondering how KFs work in the slope..also considering building an EF of depron.. probablt the RCpowers one or similar since it has 3D fuselage rather than profile..

Right on! The KFs just make a great plane magic!
Thank you. This model is very easy to build and with a very high fun-cost ratio. The KF airfoils only make the model fly better. I recommend!

You can see here another movie shot in the same day, with a small bonus. An aboard camera crash!!
Hi Dave! Check out my other videos. It is possible that you find some video on a plane that you know very well. Only a hint ... F22

i see 2 different planes in this video... 1 with and one without kf-airfoil. :)
So wich one was better for speed and wind penetration.. KF2 or KF4?
4 for speed 2 for lift
Awful music!!!
Thank you!
