The vibrant Kigali neighborhood features a large Muslim population and immigrants from all over the world. Join me on this immersive 4k walking tour of Nyamirambo, Kigali, Rwanda.
Nyamirambo is not actually dangerous, despite it's reputation -- it's one of the best places to live in Kigali.

I would walk night midnight by myself at night in Nyamirambo and feel safer than walking during day in Detroit or LA. I lived at Nyamirambo as child along time ago

I like the silent walks, but you can comment on things especially so we may fully understand what's going on. I greatly appreciate it. Because the Diaspora wants to know even more, because I want to move there and know everything about Kigali, Rwanda. And Thank you for all you do, please be SAFE!
I dislike the lack of commentary. I like the pacing, but maybe you could add a voice-over or music.

Silent walking ones are fine when it’s fairly short.. but commentary is needed when there’s parts of an area that needs explaining…

But why are you saying it's dangerous??? Your videos are amazing and it's really worth it to explain, because others don't know.
That's what locals say about Nyamirambo. The area used to be the lawless "Wild West" of Kigali, and it has kept that reputation, even though the situation has improved. I'll make another video to explain this in more detail.

@@WillieFungo Thank you for the explanation! You know many people watch your videos and they take what you or write in the description quiet literally. Especially since most have not visited Rwanda! Also I’m curious… many people say Rwandan people openly stare at foreigners. Have you experienced this? Or do they assume you are a from there?
@@midori4760 I think most people assumed I was from the country, but there was still some staring. It doesn't bother me, because I like to stare at them too. Also, the staring seems to reduce foreigner entitlement, which is a big problem in many other African countries.
The point is when you watch it you can see for yourself there is no danger.

Not really. But I have seen one or two in poorer neighborhoods.
