This literally is one of your most satisfying videos from the beginning to the end. No clue how you aren't in the top 5 detailing channels. Incredible job Rick. Just stunning work.
The fact that the owners flew out to Vancouver to get this car and are having you detail it in Calgary and then transporting them to Toronto says volumes about your skills and "attention to detail". Excellence, as usual, my friend!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I really appreciate you sending me such a wonderful care package of your products. I know I will be using them a lot in the future. They performed admirably.
Rick, you are becoming known for your meticulous work. PROCESS! Between you and Pan and Jim White, in a survey, it would probably come out as a dead heat as to who had the process. Thanks so much my friend. I really went the distance on this one and showed a lot of what I did during the paint correction and polish stage. It's a lot of work but people seem to get a kick out of it and these videos do stand out against the crowd, I think.

The edging is what motivates me! I don’t know what I did before this pad washer. Such a God send. Hope you’re well my friend. I bet Fall in Wisconsin is a delight.
Awesome Rick! The V60 version of that car was always one of my favorites. Love your attention to quality and detail and the yellow tape you used made the car look like the Swedish flag 🇸🇪 Perfect!
I’ve always loved Volvo. One thing that’s weird to me is why this wasn’t named the S60R of the P3 Generation. It is the successor to the S60R in almost every way except its name. This is coming from an S60R owner. And by the way, great work. Hopefully I can visit Calgary again sometime soon.
I don't think they have done a good job with their nomenclature. I like to consider myself a car guy, but the Volvo names have never made much sense to me. Now with Polestar being their electric brand, it is just all a bit too wonky for me.
Yeah right? Polestar used to be the name of a racing team and they just butcher it. I'm a lifelong Volvo fan but the way they do things now I feel they have screwed up.

Excellent job on this one ! Im sure the owner gets lots of comments on the color- I’ve only seen one of these Polestar blue in the states once when they launched the car.
Great video Rick...always a HUGE fan of your cinematography and music. When I see you post on IG that a new video is coming, I know I am in for a treat. Thanks for all you do in the detailing community.
Thanks Eric. I am glad to make my small but passionate contribution to the community by providing people with an opportunity to just sit back and relax and appreciate just how beautify and satisfying the car detailing process can be. Especially when being applied to cars that have been well designed. I wish I could find a way to keep content like this coming, but the winter just adds so much complications to the process. Thanks again for recognizing and appreciating my contributions to this great world we have here.
Nice job, looks fantastic! I bought a 36,000 mile, one owner, 2018 V60 (the wagon version of the same car) Polestar this past summer, also in Rebel Blue. I performed a complete paint correction on it and then had the entire front clip, as well as several other areas covered with PPF. I really didn’t want to have to go through this process again on this incredibly hard paint to the entire car any time soon! I too Ceramic Coated the car with a professional grade Graphene Coating after the PPF was applied.
Thanks for sharing! I’m glad you said you found the paint hard because it gave me a real run for my money and I wasn’t sure if it was me or the stubbornness of the paint. Now that this car is heading for a part of the country with serious winter conditions, I highly suspect the owner will have some PPF applied, but being from Vancouver it was in amazing shape. I found a few small chips here and there but it was nothing compared to the wear and tear you see on cars around here. Thanks again for watching and leaving your comment. I enjoy chatting with people about their cars and how they care for them. 🤘
Awesome video. According to Yvan and Nick, there’s no need for taping off the trims, when using their polish. Haven’t tried it yet!! The circular motion for application of ceramic coating seems to be very effective at achieving full coverage and avoiding high spots.

For now I only have Adam's products. Can you give me some advice? I was thinking of using a mega foam, would graphene shampoo be suitable for 2 bucket washing? Thanks Rick, this time I'll make the video at home, let's see how it turns out...., I should redo the garage, too much dust gets in... Take care DEAR, see you soon and continue like this, you're great.... Bye 👍😉
Alessandro, you will achieve great results with Adam's Graphene in the bucket and Mega Foam always gives me thick rich lather. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.
What other brands of products are available to you in Italy?
Hey Rick were you able to get the paint overspray off or blended in, the car looks amazing my friend, nicely done 👍😁
I was able to remove all of clear overspray but the places the blue paint was visible, like on the rubber seal, I wasn’t.
I really enjoy all your videos since many years !!! The best way for me to relax after a hard day is to listen your videos... so satisfying to look 😍😍 Thanks alot and continue your nice work 👌👌 A fan from Québec 😉😉
Wow, thank you! I am happy to hear my video style allows you to kick back and relax. That's what I think it is all about. I love that.
New to you channel (over from Pan), LOVE the cinematics! Do you have someone manning the camera or do you have a slide rack?
Welcome to my channel! It is great to see some of span’s audience checking out my stuff. I have a motorized dolly that operates by remote. I am a one-man show with the detailing and the filming. I am hoping my son will one day show an interest so I can finally get a bit of help!
I miss Fernie, I also miss The Shooting Star. 😢😢
Is that a local watering hole in Fernie?
@@RADGarage Sorry I meant The Falling Star, It's a very long run that covers 2 bowls. I think it's their longest run of the entire hill.
I have heard nothing but good things about the skiing in Fernie. Unfortunately, I am not a skier so I can't relate.
Rick, that's an epic video and thank you so much for your professionalism and first class work on the car!
Completely my pleasure my friend. I think you'll be as happy as I was with the results. Until next time!
Hello. I am delighted with every video of yours.. Which drying towel is best for you?
I’m glad you enjoy my videos. I have many drying towels that I like. I think my big Gyeon one is my favourite. I linked it in the description. Take care.
Was it one or two bucket method?
One bucket. I only break out the Rinse bucket on very dirty washes. After the foam rinse, this car was 98% clean in my estimation.
Mom of 3 attempts to watch RAD video...
Toddler talks on and off thru first half of video. Pause...unpause...pause...unpause x 30
Toddler goes to swim class.
Me: Aaaaah finally alone
3 seconds later teen walks in.
Teen: Hey mom, whatcha doing?
Me: Watching Rick's new video.
Teen: Oh? What's he doing?
Me: ....... Washing a car.
Teen joins me watching.
Teen: Isn't it shiney enough?
Me: Don't ask questions like that.
Later...
Teen: The tires could be shinier
Me: Don't say things like that!
Hey Rick - I'll be outta town with no kids next weekend. Feel free to drop a new video Friday or Saturday morning. 😁
Amazing video btw. Loved the reverse bubbles during hand wash.
I really should make a more “Mother-of-three” inclusive edit. Expecting you to carve out 36 mins of your day to watch a man clean a car isn’t right. 😜
@@RADGarage I'd like to note that the boy is the only one that respected mommy's RAD time. Seeing as that most of your audience are not mothers of 3, I'll allow you to continue with your current editing style. I'll just lock my door before I hit "play".
Much appreciated.
Прекрасная работа! Молодец!!! Спасибо, удачи, жду новые видео!!! 🤝👍😄✌️👋💪
Большое спасибо, что обратились и оставили приятный комментарий. Увидимся на следующем.
MURAD form Toronto 🇨🇦👋🤘🏻👌
Thanks Murad. 🤘
❤👍👍👍👍👍👍☕️☕️love you, Braaavooo
You're the best!
A lot of orange peel for a multi-day project.
What?
@@RADGarage A lot of orange peel for a multi-day project.
@@Labios_Rotos So, all multi-day projects are judged by how much orange peel you see in the paint?
@@RADGarage You're choosing to make that assertion. I never said that. The quality of the results, however, speak for themselves. Poor quality results are showcased here, not sure why you are taking offense at reality.
@@Labios_Rotos So, I should have wet sanded this entire car. Is that what you are saying? I just want to learn more about what has you so agitated with this video.
Great video! Are you using a slider to get your moving shots?
Yes, a remote controlled motorized camera dolly is what I use. Not very complicated but it is quite convenient and versatile.
