I definitely consider your channel one of the best "at home" detailing channels. The amount of pride you take in every detail whether it's your Audi or someone else's car is fantastic. You've made me level up my detailing when doing my own car. I wish some of these other "detailing channels" would learn from you.
I appreciate that. The water nozzle is nothing special. I picked it up at my local home and garden centre. They last about a year but I keep going back to them because I do like them. I just wish they were higher quality and lasted longer. The spring mechanism gives out too quickly.
Great to have a viewer from Taiwan. My wife and I have many friends who work at Taipei American School. In fact, we came very close to working there back in 2004.
Incredible video, Rick! We just traded our 16 XC90 T6 Inscription and god, I was ready to see it go! It was a nightmare! The entire sunroof pan was replaced, motor mounts, touchscreen coating came off, rings failed causing it to burn a quart biweekly, volume buttons went out, 4 sets of breaks in two years, the entire leather dash crinkled up and came loose, rear hatch broke, etc. It was such a beautiful car and the napa leather was incredible. Certain aspects were unmatched however, it wasn't just a lemon. After researching and personally connecting with 4 dealerships, they're extremely problematic. It's weird, it's things that other manufacturer's figured out a very long time ago. 😏 Overall, it was a nightmare to own! Service wasn't nearly what Audi, Acura, BMW, and Mercedes are either. Felt like going to a Kia dealership.
I’m sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience. It is a big stress when a major investment such as a car doesn’t live up to expectations. As my car gets up there in mileage and age, I start to wonder what my next move will be and when it will happen.
I was waiting for that particular one since I saw your Instagram story. I got an XC60 T8 a few months back and like it very much :) Amazing job done on that bigger Vovlo, especially the care given to the leather.
I didn’t showcase the process in the vidoe because it is hard to show absolutely every step, but I actually applied a coat of Leather Star by KCX on the leather. What a wonderful interior in that vehicle.
Could honestly be one of the top cinematic content creators across all of YT, not just in the detailing space. The scene of the Gyeon bottle coming up to your hand was ‘Rad’ indeed!
Rick..detailing and video production excellence as usual. I loved the scene of the bottle of Gyeon Bathe rising from the bucket into your hand. That car came out awesome!
Wow another great one Rick! I qm currently traveling through South East Asia and your videos are a welcome relaxing moment from time to time! I've always liked Volvo SUV's, and their V40 and V90 too, just so practical and luxurious without appearing pretentious.
A vintage Rad video which never gets old. You used two products I have been wanting to purchase but have not. The first was Retyre and the second was Gummifix. After seeing your results I need to finally pull the trigger. Thank you for the video and the Volvo looks stunning!
RAD you are the man when it comes to cinematic detailing videos, absolute best channel for this!!! :D As a Volvo Cars engineer from Sweden I tend to listen more carefully to these clips with starring a Volvo, you never know what customer feedback that may be told :)
My neighbour has xc70 289.000 km on her and just recently replaced the fuel injectors only money he has spent on it except for brakes and tires told me why sell it you keep it looking like new and I still love the car. He does have others as well. Great video as usual 👌🏻🇨🇦
I use a pair of motorized camera dollies that are operated by remote control along with two Sony Alpha series cameras (a6100 and a6400) Thanks for washing and for the question regarding my gear.
Hey Rick!! Long time fan and fellow Canadian from the East Coast. I’m wondering if maybe for a future video you could give us your favourite three products per category ie wheel cleaner. Snow foam. Glass cleaner etc that your fellow car enthusiasts could purchase in Canada! Love watching the vids and stay Rad!!
Hey Sam, tell you what. If you come up with the categories, I will make a video in which I nominate my Top 3 for each. Just send me an email to radgarageyyc@gmail.com. I'll be sure to shout you out in it! Thanks for caring about this suburban dad's opinion! 🤘
Honestly, the DIY lineup perfectly represents its name. It is the easiest and most approachable brand out there. It is no nonsense and everything just works. I have so many brands I really enjoy using, and DIY is up there on that list. I have no reservations recommending their products to viewers.
As a Swede and a Lexus IS F owner I feel a double connection this time 🤩 Also the names of the products from Stjärnagloss are quite Swedish if I take a guess. 26:50 our flag 😍 I feel like I sound like a broken record, but your vids are absolutely fantastic. From your detailing process to the filming and the editing. Thank you. Or perhaps Tack 😉
Hi Rick 🖐 Another Saturday great! I am not a Volvo fan, but you made that car look great!! Looking forward to your next one. Quick question off topic, what is the make of the dehumidifier that you use and would you buy it again or try something ese?
How do you find Pol Star Rick? I love it! If you ever need something with a bit more cleaning power try and get hold of some Koch Chemie MZR if you can get in Canda. Another fantastic product! Loved the Video as always too!
Comments from toddler: "He's s'na'post to wash his car outside." I let her know it's ok in your garage. "Oh only we do ours outside." "I have little brushes too!" My comments: Dude....that was relaxing even with 2 kids and a dog in my space.
I absolutely love the insights of the little ones! Tell them I would go to jail if I washed my car outside! 👮♀️ This one was very chill. One of the toughest paint colours to capture on camera and the lighting was tricky too. But, it has a brooding feel to it.
Sunday morning coffee and Rad Garage, how does it get better than that? Amazing job on the Volvo, as usual, thanks for sharing! Do you mind if I ask what your total time investment was for this detail (just curious)? Also, what sort of life expectancy do you get from the DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss? Thanks again for sharing, and have a great day!

I have been using the vacuum more and more in the interior to "suck out" the leftover soap. I’m so glad that is the case.

Detailing meditation
There is a calm that comes with really focusing on a satisfying task like washing a car. Only a select few know this.
That was one RAD production.... great job buddy
Much appreciated!
My new favorite bedtime story. Each chapter getting better than the last. Thanks for tucking me in nicely until the next one. Sweet dreams 😴 ❤👌
I love that I can bring that level of peace to others with my videos.
Radtastic vid rick...
Don't you love being able to pick any chemicals you desire and not be stuck to 1 brand..
I feel like my garage is as stocked as some detailing retailers!
You have the best auto detailing channel on youtube. I love that water hose nozzle

Not gonna lie, as much as I enjoy your detailing...I really come for the awesome chillout music tracks!
They are the cherry on top, for sure. It’s why I still enjoy it so much.
One of the few UA-cam channels I always watch on Full Screen only. Love the shirt btw.

Thanks. It was a tidy little project. It definitely gave me a new respect for the craftsmanship of Volvos.

Very nice! My wife has a XC90
Great job on this one!
She cleaned up real nice. Quality cars are so satisfying to work on.
Hwy Rick another RAD Production. As always award winning gold loggi. Nice looking SUV
There is no denying the level of luxury and refinement Volvo is putting into their cars these days. I could find no flaw or fault with this XC90.
