The Best Western is good and its location is ideal. Nice rooms and walking distance to The Dobbin House and Appalachian Brewing Company. Our favorite place to stay when visiting the Burg (I'm a 1984 Gettysburg College alum).
The 1863 Inn of Gettysburg is another good choice for all the same reasons. Many rooms have been refurbished/upgraded. Easy walk to The Farnsworth House, another top tier restaurant.

We always stay at the 1863 Inn (location is perfect!). Always stop in to Hunt's for the fries! Mmm! And love O'Rourkes! Ugh. I miss Gettysburg so much! This video made my day! 🧡

Gettysburg Eddie's (Named after a Baseball Hall Of Famer), good place for dinner.Tommy's,good place for lunch with their great tasting fries. Next time I want to try the Blue & Gray Restaurant and the Lincoln Diner.

Thank you for this lovely walking tour. Hubby and I will be going down the end of November for the Remembrance Day doings and staying at the Colonial Inn. Our 16th visit there and still lots to see!! 👸💜🍁

Gettysburg is a fun place to be! Did you notice the sidewalks are painted where the uneven spots are? Great when you're coming back from the square at night and you MIGHT have a slight package on? It's a little trip but not that far to walk to the hotel. I'll stay at the Quality Inn again for sure.

so we just missed you when you filmed this on WW2 weekend, OMG the stories i got from all the stuff we did on that street back in the day , from the History of the G.I. program at the Dobin House (were the outside dinning area is now) to drunk at 3am using my credit card as my room key. all the parades & displays , O'Rouke's full of reenactor's with stacks of guns on the patio after every parade. breakfast at Hunt's the S.O.S. is amazing, having tourist buying us drinks (we love you Canadians) having tourist thinking world war 1 British soldiers are Confederate soldiers , getting off duty and hitting up Gettysburg Eddies for drink's. this past trip we stayed at the Colton Inn deff wouldn't recommend it. great video keep it up

You guys should try the b&b at the dobbin house. it's nice and the breakfast is amazing. Our of town the battlefield b&b carters to dogs as well as humans

Hey I know y’all like to travel and try unique places I was wondering if you ever thought of going to Frankenmuth Mi they have Bonners Christmas Village which the celebration Christmas everyday and then the town of Frankenmuth is full of cute shops and awesome dinning options. Especially Zenders and the Bavarian in. Family style Just thought you would be interested

Another great video Never been there but your vids make me want to get there.John by the way drove 30 miles to Loews but only thing they did not have was the Santa and his sleigh lol I'll keep trying.Oh by the way Friendleys was a great customer.About 20 plus years ago Hershey's bought them.All Friendleys are now closing.I think the last one around here is 50 miles away in Dartmouth Mass.Our Cape Cod Friendleys in Falmouth where I live and in Hyannis mass closed years ago.Its a shame they were a childhood place mom would take me.

We live about 50 miles south of the Gettysburg/Lancaster area so know the area well. Have you all ever been to Gettysburg over a 4th of July for a reenactment? Very impressive to see.

Fabulous tour, glad you described the stores. We seem to frequent the same ones all the time. Now I know where to go in. One place we really enjoyed was the Lincoln Train museum. As a native there really is not anything all that special about Gettysburg other than the battle. Tourist season is straight hell so if you ever visit do it in the winter months

That's our favorite street to shop plus I love The Square. Great antique show in spring. We had our picture done on tin type at the photography place. It wasn't crowed so the owner took us in back and showed us how they developed .

stayed at the 1863 and really liked it then stayed at the colton motel for the purpose of being nice stay at the 1863. has a good breakfast 😋

The tour through Gettysburg was great, it brought back so many memories of visiting there many years ago. Now my 79 year old feet would not make it. If I recall correctly, it was hilly, we were pushing my friends Dad in a wheel chair. Another great tour many thanks.
