Speaking of ghosts, about 15-20 years ago, I had a new Kodak digital camera, we went into the Jenny Wade house and I took lots of pictures, but in the basement, I turned my camera on and as soon as the camera was "live" I saw SO MANY ORBS & FLASHES flying past me while looking through the camera viewer I just couldn't believe it! They said the Jenny Wade house is one of the most haunted places in America, that made me believe it! A very active town, Gettysburg PA. I love it there. You need to visit Mr Ed's Elephant Museum. Lots of homemade fudge and retro candy. The smells of the fudge is the 1st thing you notice when you walk in
Jenny Wade’s story has always fascinated me and I have taken the tour of the house twice and I would have to agree with you about it being a must see and totally worth the time and money.
Seeing those bullet holes really makes the history feel alive! I will make it out to Gettysburg someday but for now your videos of Gettysburg really are great!
the exterior of The Farnsworth House is shot with holes, too. Fave place for dinner and lodging is The Dobbin House and Farnsworth for lunch. Summer visits are fun but Gettysburg from Remembrance Day weekend, early Nov thru Holidays are stellar days with roaring fires at Dobbin House Tavern.

We went frequently when I was a kid. I was there in 1972 and ate at the Dutch Cupboard. Checked into the Howard Johnsons walked to the gift shop next door in 97 and asked about the Dutch Cupboard. Oh she said they knocked that down years ago. I used to eat at the Shoney's across from the Quality Inn. That's gone. In the early sixties older men in uniforms would sit in the center of the traffic circle. They were official I think, battle field tour guides. They would go in your car and direct you around the battlefield for a fee with all the history included. I haven't been since 2004. Thanks! It's a very special place.

love these video's 9 days till i'll be walking these streets for the 160th, 3:39 mark also for free parking esp during peek season they allow parking at the Middle school behind MR. G's 4:41 mark heard the food is good, but it's Game meats not for everyone. 5:52 mark LOL so during many of the parades that go up Baltimore street, this is the spot when most reenactors peel off and hit the bar, 6:23 mark miss the old book store / toy soldier ect.. that it was before used to be able to look at the collection of toy soldiers and a wall full of replica firearms on that enclosed porch 8:11 mark the Old Ace's High store used to sell art work (WW1 & WW2 prints) and other items about aviation books & models ect.. Great husband & Wife team they also do the themed bed & breakfast on the other side. would do WW1 & 2 display on that porch . Sweeney Tavern is a must do when visiting, Bangers & Mash w/ a Confederate Sharpe shooter drink in the beer garden 12:35 mark those are some good books sharing many stories , Mark is a great guy you can bump into him around town used to sit at the bar and talk with him. 13:13 mark JD from History Underground just did a great video on this museum deff worth checking out. OMG the sidewalks suck in town but when bar hopping it makes it entertaining LOL 14:05 mark ah the trust fund baby's place sorry personal issues with me and him ok guess thats enough for now lol great job as always
Oh no - a roundabout!!! I have to go back and watch your Ghost Tours videos! I love that stuff. PA is a big area for paranormal groups/ghost hunters. Illinois is too (where I live now). That is one gorgeous library (Adams County) - I love libraries, and this one I could get lost in for hours! I miss Rita's Ices like a Son of a Gun! I used to go there all the time in Philly and when I was caring for my dad in Cape Coral/Ft. Myers. Chocolate or Cherry Water Ice is to die for! Unfortunately, they do NOT ship. That breaks my heart. I have to see if perhaps Gold Belly will do it for a zillion dollars. LOL Thanks for the tour - you go far and above for us!

Thanks for the walking tour! Absolutely FASCINATING! A few reactions: $3.50/gallon? No complaints on this end! $4.80/gallon at the CHEAP gas station! (Insert favorite obscenities here! 😂) The parking metered spots cost $1.50/hr. And knowing about the free parking is crucial! Fixing the sidewalks is a priority! Trip, faceplant, meet the locals in the emergency room. 😢😮 The ice creams both look salivating FABULOUS! I'd probably go for the red velvet. And thanks for informing us about the new building going up. And the diorama with cats made me laugh! 😂
This is so cool, thanks for sharing! I had knee replacement surgery in March, so I"m still having trouble walking for very long. I told my hubby that once I can walk without hurting, I would love to go to Gettysburg. Btw, when you showed the statue of Thaddeus Steven, it looked like his eyes were looking right into the camera, creepy! lol

Thanks for the Historical tour, it is very nice with all the classic architecture. The ice cream looked really good. You should of tried Rita's water ice, the best water ice on earth. Got It's start in Southeast Pennsylvania in Bucks county. There are now 559 locations now in many states. It's very popular. Great flavors like wild pear, wild black cherry, watermelon, blood orange, grapefruit, pina colada, mango, ect.
The ice cream looked very good and refreshing. I noticed they had one of my favorites Pistachio. The Pina Colada looked good too. But Red Velvet. I personally don't like red velvet anything. Thanks for walking tour and video.

Here in Lancaster a place called pine view dairy,they make their own ice cream and they have pineapple coconut it’s delicious
