Okay, that last one got me right in my heart. The pup is obviously 15/10, but can we say the same about her new mum? Talk about stepping up to the plate. She took on a dog she probably hadn't planned on doing, and then going through all of the emotions to help those in need of comfort. That's got to take a lot out of her. They're an awesome twosome! ❤❤❤❤
I wish wish wish the hospital hospice where my Dad spent his last few days of life had had a dog as wonderful as Gaia. It made me weep to think how comforting a sweet dog would have been during those scary, seemingly unending days and nights while we stayed by my Dad’s side until he passed. He was such a dog lover and it would’ve made him happy too, I know. Wonderful dog and human. 50/10.
@@astralthewiccan423 her rescuer gave it to her! She was living happily with a cat colony for several years in an abandoned taxi depot. Unfortunately the depot was set to be demolished, but some local cat rescuers helped to find homes for everyone. She’s still quite shy, but very sweet and gets along famously with my other cat. (She also kind of looks like a buckled in car seatbelt when she flops out on the ground for naps)
That's so wonderful... Some love for the goat-saving dog & people? So much yes, & for new supermom & her caretakers/family!...& them all! ...but Gia & her new mom are amazing! What a difficult role this woman took on in her life! I hope that she gets lots of support from Gia as well & that they both benefit fully from their family unit! I would so much like to have a pet that would enjoy bringing cheer in the nearby facilities 💗🤞
I love Gaia and what he and his adoptive mom are doing. I lost my sister to brain cancer in 2021- she was diagnosed a month after I brought home my beautiful gs pup, Freya. Almost didn’t keep her because my sister lived in another province and I knew I’d be spending more time there than home for several months. But people stepped up to look after her when I was away, and Freya got me through the tears on my trips back home, and after my sister passed. And still does. Wish they could have met. Some dogs are amazing at tuning into what people need emotionally in difficult times.
You seem a bit surprised each week to tell us, "The dogs were good again this week." And yet, they were. (Psst ... nobody will use some of those 11 names.)

First: 11 puppies? Second: #1 is amazing!
I didnt need to cry today, I thought
Oh, that last story was really touching, thank you so much for these weekly updates about the dogs, I look forward to it every week!!
Another week in the books. So glad I can count on the dogs to be good.
This made my day. What a great way to start the morning for someone with night shifts.
Your “reports” always make me smile, then good-cry. Thanks❤
Oh my god. My cat’s name is Seatbelt. 🐈⬛ If Meter Maid and her puppies ever see this please consider Seatbelt your NYC kitty cousin ❤❤❤
How did Seatbelt get their name?

I guess the counterpoint to this post would be The Cats Were Bad This Week. I’d watch it!
Well done, Gaia
