Max awakes in a daze as he finds himself losing everything he knew about fighting games. Turns out, his roommate Dr. Doom is on the case revealing the time space continuum has been altered. Stealing the infinity gauntlet, he plans to send them both back to 1997 to find the secrets of what's changed in the past.
Enjoy the first or a four part series covering multiple aspects of Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs Capcom, while Max and Doom as they travel through time...discovering the roots of fighting games
Here from last night's stream! Seeing Thanos made my sides hurt with laughter. Man...I started watching Max in high school, now I'm in my late 20's and still here. An Assist Me video just happened to be in my recommended and the rest is history. I want to be a Twitch streamer because of him, he's a hero of mine and now that CEO is coming to Orlando I'll finally have the (hopeful) chance of telling him this in person. Hahaha a long time ago I used to say I wanted to be an apprentice of his and learn how to stream from him. If that's not having a hero I don't know what is. Max, if you're reading this words can't describe the respect and admiration I have for you and the rest of YOVG. I wish all 4 of you every happiness and nothing but the best in life. I believe I speak for everyone when I say you're not JUST a streamer, you're a LEGACY streamer....OUR legacy streamer, for a reason. Man and now I'm crying lmao. Shine on Doods!

Indeed, Max is doing great things for the community....I (like many) suck at MVC and have never played Super Heroes, these videos will be alot of help getting into groove when Origins is released...and oh Im =D

Does anyone else get a headache from hearing Max and Doom talk about time travel rules? That stuff is more confusing that my college geometry class.

The production values on these have really gotten pretty amazing. It's just really nicely shot. The acting and writing have gotten better, too. Really hope these keep getting made for a long time.
If James Rolfe would see this, he'd be proud of what Max is doing. This feels like a homage crossed with a new Assist Me angle with Back to the Future.
And before someone tries to be snide about it, let's not forget Back to the Future is Rolfe's all-time favorite movie trilogy. Not a day or video goes by without him making a reference to it in some shape or form. :)

Whenever I see a Doom action figure now I have to get it. Max just made Doom so easy to relate to.

Assist Me is awesome Max & cast keep it up. It's gotten to the point to where I don't even care what game the tutorials are for anymore. I'm just genuinely in love with the series.

I'm part of the younger generation of fighters, so I wasn't around before MvC3, and I must say, I thought I wouldn't be able to find any enjoyment in an older game like this, but DAMN this looks fun

1997 I was 7 years old. This is exactly how I remember it.
Slight correction: Capcom only hired Max for the 12 new characters on Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, after that he was once again solo.
Anyone else impressed they managed to get Ammy to turn his head perfectly for the beginning sequence?
